New Orleans riff lords Crowbar will release an all new full length album entitled 'Symmetry In Black' on May 26, 2014 via Century Media Records in Europe and May 27, 2014 via eOne Records in North America.
Founding vocalist & guitarist Kirk Windstein provides the following comment:
"We are so proud and excited about what we have accomplished with this record! The focus, determination and attitude in the band is at an all time high. We are 100% ready to get this Juggernaut rolling and never touch the breaks again. Crowbar will not be stopped!"
'Symmetry In Black' was produced by Kirk Windstein and Duane Simoneaux and was mixed by Josh Wilbur. The new effort will be the latest material from Crowbar since 'Sever The Wicked Hand' was released in 2011 and will be the tenth studio LP which also marks the 25th anniversary of the inception of Crowbar.
Windstein continues:"Crowbar is my heart and soul. The music is a part of me that I am extremely proud of. It's an amazing feeling to be putting all of my energy and focus into something that I created 25 years ago! We are extremely excited to release our 10th full length and to bring the riffs to as many people as possible on tour. See you on the road!"
Now that the band has finished recording, a U.K. headline run for a handful of dates with Dripback is kicking off tonight in Manchester.

After more than two decades, "Total Fucking Darkness", the infamous third demo from notorious UK extreme metal magicians, Cradle Of Filth, will be unleashed on gate-fold double LP and digi-pack CD via Mordgrimm this Spring.
The undertaking was helmed by vocalist Dani Filth, former guitarist Paul Ryan (currently of The King Is Blind) and Cacophonous Records founder Frater Nihil, who first signed Cradle Of Filth, in an effort to bring fans old and new a remastered version of the demo along with material that had been sitting in the vaults for twenty years.
Given new life at Turan Studio in Oxford with the aid of engineer Tim Turan (who has worked on everything from Emperor to Thin Lizzy), "Total Fucking Darkness" commences with "Spattered In Faeces," the only surviving track from the now mythical "Goetia" sessions, followed on Side A and the rest of Side B with the recordings from the "Total Fucking Darkness" demo. Side C offers up another previously unreleased hymn with "Devil Mayfair (Advocatus Diaboli)," recorded in a rehearsal studio on Samhain 1992, followed by three more tracks from the same session, a further hint of the material that would have featured on the aborted "Goetia" album. Two short instrumental movements from former Cradle Of Filth keyboardist Ben Ryan are also included.
Housed in a heavy gatefold sleeve with paintings featuring the perverse visions of Radio 1 Presenter and occult artist, Daniel Carter, the legendary recording will be released in an initial mail-order edition of 666 copies, unleashed in an unholy trinity of three two-color, 180-gram vinyl variants limited to 222 copies each; orange / black, blue / grey and grey / black. Each copy includes a limited edition booklet with a foreword by Dani Filth and formerly unseen photos from the band archives. A retail version in blue vinyl with insert, and a digipak CD, will be available from Amazon and other outlets on May 5, 2014, with the limited edition version slated for release two weeks earlier.

Kent's most fabled Symphonic Black Metallers The Furious Horde are proud to announce the unveiling of their latest music video "For The Horde"
GMA spoke to Rachael Gater, guitarist of The Furious Horde to get the low down behind this sensational masterpiece:
"We at The Furious Horde are incredibly excited about "For The Horde", our new track and music video. The track / video is a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the band and the friendships surrounding it.
We filmed in two separate sessions; the first day, we filmed the band shots at the Red Lion in Gravesend. They have a bunker at the back of the beer garden which was perfect! There was water dripping from the ceiling and walls, and it was freezing. If you look hard at the video, you can see Ruptured_Souls' cold breath! (He wears the least out of the members, too!) The second day, we filmed with the incredible zombie (Colin Stubbs) and Ruptured_Souls in the basement of our friend Ryan Wigley (bassist / vocalist of Dark Theory - also another Kent band, who plays Symphonic Black / Gothic Metal). Filming was a lot of fun. There were a lot of shenanigans involved, but we worked very hard too!
Luke Foxwell (Alienated Films) was a pleasure to work with, and we are incredibly thankful to him for his great work. He captured our fabulous and sexy appeal superbly, haha! This new track is very special to us; a landmark of the distance we have travelled and a taster of what is to follow. We believe that our next album will be our strongest!
Thank you for taking the time to talk to us, GMA!"

Savage Messiah have completed recording their as-yet untitled new album, which is due to be released in early 2014.
The follow-up to 2012's "Plague Of Conscience" was recorded at Grindstone Studios in Suffolk, England with producer Scott Atkins (Amon Amarth, Sylosis, Behemoth), who also worked on the band's last two albums.
Savage Messiah frontman Dave Silver is excited about the achievement:
"Finally, after almost seven weeks of brutal hard work, we can proudly say that our third album is complete! Every note has been played, every lyric sung and now we await the finished mixes from producer Scott Atkins. We've had a lot of laughs making this record, and despite it being a labour-intensive effort, we had no major disruptions and the whole experience has been really enjoyable. We're genuinely excited to get this album out into the world and start the promotion! We look forward to releasing more details over the coming months as well as the various touring activities we have planned! See ya on the road!"

From the harrowing doom of their 1990 debut "Lost Paradise", to 1991’s genre-defining Gothic, to 1995’s break-out masterpiece "Draconian Times", to 1997’s electronically-tinged "One Second", to 2007’s return to a heavier form "In Requiem", to last year’s opus "Tragic Idol", Paradise Lost has continued to evolve since their inception in 1988, inspiring countless artists throughout the years. To celebrate their influence on the scene, a special compilation will be released this fall to commemorate the band’s 25th anniversary landmark.
Entitled Tragic Illusion 25 (The Rarities), this album will be released on October 21st in Europe (digitally on November 5th in North America) and features artwork by Parisian designer Valnoir (www.metastazis.com), who has worked with artists such as Orphaned, Morbid Angel, Watain, and more than 150 others. All tracks found on the compilation are previously released rarities — except the new track 'Loneliness Remains', and newly recorded 'Gothic 2013' and 'Our Saviour 2013'. These three tracks will also appear on a 10” Vinyl (CM Distro Europe exclusive white Vinyl; limited to 100 copies) that includes a CD booklet and CD insert.
