Californian Technical Death metal faction, Inanimate Existence, who feature within their ranks members of Brain Drill and Son Of Aurelius, will unleash their sophomore effort, "A Never-Ending Cycle Of Atonement" this Summer via Extreme Metal merchants, Unique Leader Records.
Tracked by Max Zigman (Son Of Aurelius, Smaragos) at Parade Outrageous in Santa Cruz and produced by Zack Ohren (Light This City, All Shall Perish, First Blood, Cattle Decapitation, Warbringer et al) at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, "A Never-Ending Cycle Of Atonement" boasts eight conceptual tracks of progressive punishment.
The follow-up to 2012's "Liberation Through Hearing", which MetalSucks championed for its "eerie, psychedelic themes richly animated by the grandiose contrast between shamanic atmosphere and uncompromising brutality", finds Inanimate Existence's signature, over-the-top compositions elevated to an entirely new level of profundity. Each movement marvels at its own innovative density as intricate guitar structures coil seamlessly around complex rhythms and infernal vocal tirades all the while maintaining an absorbing magnetism that draws exploratory listeners in with each new measure. The record includes several guest musicians who offer female vocal accents, clarinet, bass flute, harp, bongos and other nuances to the proceedings, only adding to the record's already confounding depth.
"A Never-Ending Cycle Of Atonement" Track Listing:

With the official North American release of their new full-length, "Obsideo", nearly two weeks away, today the miscreants at MetalSucks offer up a premiere of "Aura Negative" from Dutch progressive metal extremists, Pestilence.
Produced by vocalist / guitarist Patrick Mameli, "Obsideo", which means "to besiege," is the band's inaugural recording for Candlelight Records and first new material from the four-piece since 2011. "Obsideo" boasts Mameli and his innovative guitar work. Utilizing eight-string guitars for the album's recording, the celebrated musician expands his already massive arsenal of riffs. Together with long-time guitarist Patrick Uterwijk, Mameli, bassist George Maier and drummer Dave Haley deliver a scorching, genre-defying effort.
"Obsideo is one of the catchiest death metal albums to come along recently," and, "a good return to form for one of the genre's pioneers," :- Apeshit
"New drummer David Haly (Blood Duster, Psycroptic) is a Godsend and throws down a whirlwind of dynamic fills and rolls while laying waste to his kit in service of these hyper-kinetic nuggets of mayhem. I found my ears locking into to what the drums were doing way more than usual, and with so much else going on, that's a testament to his performance." :- AngryMetalGuy
"Obsideo has smoothly combined both sides of the Pestilence sound, old and new, and the resulting merger sounds pretty damn good." :- Adds Metal Reviews

"Obsideo" will be released in North America via Candlelight Records on November 11th.
Struc/tures return to Europe w/ Parkway Drive, Emmure & The Word Alive & release single this November
Canadian technical metal trail blazers Struc/tures return to the UK and Europe this November to tour with Parkway Drive, Emmure and The Word Alive, on what is set to be one of the biggest metal tours of the year.
Demand for the Toronto quintet to return to our shores has been huge following their highly successful tour with Veil Of Maya in April, and the band cannot wait to come over and blow our minds with their technical wizardry and ball busting grooves once again.
Check out the new single ‘Hydroplaning’, to be released on November 12th.
Aged only 19-20, Struc/tures wrote, recorded and self-released a five track EP in April 2011 which took the underground scene by storm and promptly propelled them to the top of the Toronto scene. It wasn’t long before esteemed US label Sumerian picked them up to release their outstanding debut album ‘Divided By’ in October 2011, and the band have been unstoppable ever since. Having spent the last year touring the world and most recently their homeland with UK metallers Architects, Struc/tures are set to return to Europe on 13 November.
