Calling the track a “twisted love song,” lead singer Rena Lovelis says that “Break My Heart” was inspired by over-romanticizing the painful part of a break-up. “It’s about how, in a relationship, you go through these phases — the first date, the first kiss, the honeymoon — and then after you’ve experienced all the amazing parts of that love, you want to go to the dark side. You want this person to break your heart so you can feel what it’s like to long for them and to feel so desperate that you’ll do anything to get them back. So it’s kind of masochistic!”
Hey Violet will perform “Guys My Age” on US TV show, Late Night With Seth Meyers on March 21st. They are currently working on their debut album, which will be out later this year via Virgin EMI. In the meantime, the band which is Rena, her sister Nia Lovelis (drums), Miranda Miller (keys, vocals), Casey Moreta (lead guitar) and Iain Shipp (bass) are currently on a sold out US tour. UK fan will get the chance to see the band live this spring, dates below;

“Break My Heart” is the follow-up to Hey Violet’s smash single “Guys My Age”, which was named one of the Best Songs of 2016 by The New York Times and one of the 20 Best Songs of 2016 by V Magazine. The video for the single also racked up over 10 million views. The band are currently featured on the March cover of Alternative Press.
Hey Violet’s current EP Brand New Moves, debuted as the #1 artist album on iTunes in the U.S. and U.K. The Los Angeles Times compared their move “from grimy punk to shiny pop” to the Go-Go’s, while Galore declares front woman Rena Lovelis, “emits an unheard of level of rock-stardom for such a small girl without even singing a single note. But when she does sing, it’s as if Courtney Love, Gwen Stefani, and Hayley Williams crashed into each other and made a whole new generation of rock star.”

Papa Roach have given fans a taste of their forthcoming ninth album with a video for their new single ‘Help’. The track dropped earlier today, Friday 15th February and is available across all digital streaming platforms via Eleven Seven Music. The new album is expected to be released in May.
Check it out here:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSecjqcO3Jk
“Help” was produced by Nicholas “Ras” Furlong and Colin Brittian, who grew up listening to Papa Roach and inspired the band to revisit some of their early influences. “We really followed our instincts and tried something unproven,” explains Furlong. “We ended up morphing the band’s best ‘old school’ traits into a courageous and more adventurous version of Papa Roach in the 21st Century.” Lyrically the new offering, touches on the personal, yet relatable, theme that surrounds the universal struggle of surviving mental health issues.
Papa Roach teased fans late last year with the viral release of “Crooked Teeth” (LISTEN HERE), which is nearing 2M streams on Spotify. Featuring one of the album’s more unorthodox moments—the 808 bass drop into a metal breakdown, “Crooked Teeth” hit the online community, exciting fans all over the world who are expecting an album as dynamic as their classics INFEST and Getting Away with Murder.
Papa Roach will be heading out on a Canadian tour with Sum 41 during April, followed by a handful of US festival dates. More dates will be announced soon via their website: www.paparoach.com/tour
InVogue Records recording artists Courage My Love have today launched “Stereo” as the first single from their forthcoming full-length debut album. The track is available at all digital music providers as well at all streaming services here.
Watch the lyric video for “Stereo” here.
Produced by David Bendeth (Paramore, Of Mice and Men, Papa Roach), “Stereo” introduces a new arsenal of sounds for the Kitchener, Ontario-based trio who have made a name for themselves and built a strong following on a number of tours across North America and Europe.
“We didn’t want to be stuck underneath a female-fronted rock band ceiling,” admits guitarist / singer Mercedes Arn-Horn. “We wanted to reach beyond that constraint and see where it would take us.”
During the recording of Synesthesia, Arn-Horn’s twin sister, drummer / singer Phoenix taught herself synth programming which helped shaped the sound of the new album and gave the band a new attitude when it can to songwriting.
“We lost our ego of wanting to show off,” says Phoenix. “Now, when we write, its more about the song and what it needs. We try to make songs instead of flashy parts.”
Courage My Love were first discovered at a 2010 battle of the Bands in Stratford Ontario. The band’s independently produced video for the song “Bridges” amassed over 2 million views and the band discovered that director Kevin Smith (Silent Bob) was among the many fans that had discovered their music. The band signed with Warner Music Canada in 2011 and in 2012 Alternative Press Magazine pegged them as one of the bands to watch that year. In 2014 The band’s first two EPs, For Now and Becoming, earned them a 2014 JUNO Awards nomination for Breakthrough Group of the Year and later that summer Courage My Love joined the vans Warped Tour across North America.
More information about the new album will be released in the coming months.
Courage My Love is:
Mercedes Arn-Horn – vocals, guitar

You know that first rush of love, the intoxicating buzz automatically generated by meeting someone special? Pop artisans The Veronicas have freeze-framed that precise moment in their thrilling new single, ‘In My Blood’. As announced by The Veronicas, ‘In My Blood’ will be impacting Sept 9th through RCA Records. ‘In My Blood’ marks not only the first taste of The Veronicas upcoming fourth studio album, but is also the first song they wrote for it.
"It's that elated, euphoric feeling of love at first sight. L ove and adrenalin are rushing through your blood. It's like a chemical injection. You've instantly connected with someone. You're knocked out by this person.” – Jessica & Lisa Origliasso
‘In My Blood’ see The Veronicas once again teaming up with Australian song-writers and producers David Musumeci and Anthony Egizii of DNA Songs, the team behind their 2014 hit‘You Ruin Me’.
‘You Ruin Me’ debuted at No.1 on the ARIA Singles Chart (their second chart topper after ‘Hook Me Up’ in 2007) and sold over 200,000 copies going triple platinum. It became their second UK Top 10 hit (behind ‘Untouched’ in 2009) and went Top 40 on the US Adult Contemporary chart. ‘If You Love Someone’ and ‘Cruel’, also lifted from their platinum self-titled album, followed ‘You Ruin Me’ up the charts, and in 2015 the sisters embarked on their Sanctified headline tour of Australia and the UK.
