Taken from the band’s forthcoming new EP 'Cold Chillin’, the song ‘Karma’ has been made available for free download and is regarded as a feral musical uppercut, loaded with riffs, grooves and vocal venom. The accompanying video was shot & directed by upcoming director Felix ‘Phoenix’ Dickinson, and continues the Your Demise tradition of striking visual statements that, more often than not, set the Internet ablaze; be it via their album artwork, merchandise or music videos, Your Demise are not a band to follow trends or convention, and ‘Karma’ is certainly no different. Enlisting the help of their fans, friends and Britain’s inclement January weather during ‘Karma’s’ intense 48 hour production, Your Demise have once again returned with a bang: say what you will about them, this ain’t a band of half measures, and they don’t do things quietly. The EP will be unleashed on February 7th, 2013, to coincide with the band’s U.K headline dates, and marks the bands’ first official release since their departure from Visible Noise Records. For the E.P‘s release, the quintet have teamed up with long time collaborators Impericon.com & Leeds based D.I.Y label Pinky Swear Records, with Impericon handling the CD edition and PSR an exclusive vinyl pressing. “Impericon and Pinky Swear are both very dedicated to music, and separate themselves from the bullshit that can hang around in the music industry,” says Stuart; “They have shown us great passion and support, and have helped us in our mission to create a really special and personal release, which will also be very cool for our fans.” To support the E.P release, Your Demise will headline the UK in February 2013, and they're enlisting the help of their friends from around the world to do so; joining YD will be new UK hopes Heights, hotly tipped Canadian hardcore band Counterparts and eclectic Japanese mob Fact. If I remember correct, Ignorance Never Dies was the first album I heard of these guys. After that, I bought every release buy Your Demise. They have never disappointed me ever! I really miss Andreas Yasoumi, Daniel Osbourne and George Noble.
