Check out the trailer for 'Bringer Of Pain' here:
Bassist and vocalist Eero Sipilä commented:
"United Kingdom - the holy land of heavy metal! It’s taken its bloody time for us to make it past London, but like they say, all bad is worth waiting. We're super excited to finally explore UK further, and meet with all the people who've had to live without the beast for so very long. This will indeed be a blast! Majesty are old touring mates of ours, so it’s great having them on board to bring in some well needed German sex-appeal ". - Eero / BB

Heavy Metal legends Iron Maiden continue their hugely successful The Book of Souls World Tour into 2017 with a series of European arena shows opening in Antwerp, Belgium on April 22, Maiden’s first visit to this city since 1981 on the Killers Tour! The band then travel to Germany for shows in Oberhausen, Frankfurt and Hamburg before heading into the UK and Ireland for an extensive series of concerts in May. There will be 8 dates across England in Nottingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Newcastle, Liverpool, Birmingham and London, two in Scotland in Glasgow and Aberdeen and one in Cardiff, Wales.
Maiden founder member and bass player Steve Harris says,
“As it’s been so long since our last full UK arena tour, we really wanted to get to our fans in as many cities as possible. We’re really looking forward to it, especially visiting places we haven’t been to for a very long time like Leeds where we haven’t played since 2005 and Liverpool where we haven’t played since 1990. The whole band is really enjoying this tour and although we love playing festivals and stadiums, it is terrific to return to the intimacy and atmosphere of arenas. The songs from The Book Of Souls album and the new Maya-themed Eddies and stage sets have gone down really well and fan reaction has been amazing. And of course we know our fans appreciate us playing a lot of the older songs too, which we will continue to do.”

Doro released her 2 Blu-Ray / 3DVD+CD package entitled Strong And Proud - 30 Years Of Rock And Metal through Nuclear Blast earlier this year.
To celebrate her 30th anniversary of performing live, Doro spent 2013/2014 by touring the world extensively, a journey which included three official anniversary shows. The tour kicked off impressively in front of 85,000 people at the world's biggest metal festival, Wacken, followed by two sold-out nights in her home town of Düsseldorf, where she also started her outstanding career. And everyone came to party with Doro: Phil Campbell (Motörhead), Biff Byford (Saxon), Chris Caffery (Savatage), Blaze Bayley (ex-Iron Maiden), Joakim Brodén (Sabaton), Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian), Udo Dirkschneider, Uli Jon Roth, Lordi as well as many more amazing guests.
"We spent endless hours, days, and nights working on the DVD," said Doro, "because we wanted to present a real highlight for all rock and metal fans for the 30th anniversary. We took care of every detail. It began already with the fantastic stage at Wacken. We worked one year on its design. In Düsseldorf, we even celebrated two nights in a row. One 'classic night' with a 40-piece orchestra and one 'balls-to-the-wall' rock show on the second evening. It continued subsequently non stop - with an anniversary tour which led us to Russia, South America, and my second home, the US, among other places."
Strong And Proud - 30 Years Of Rock And Metal contains 38 songs in total, including all Doro classics, many old Warlock hits and cover versions of songs such as "Fear Of The Dark" (Iron Maiden) and "Balls To The Wall" (Accept). Additionally, Strong And Proud - 30 Years Of Rock And Metal offers a unique two+-hour documentary, Behind The Curtain, Inside The Heart Of Doro. It gives the spectator deep and detailed insights into the world of Doro.
"There's great footage from all over the world and never before seen pictures from our life behind the stage. The camera team accompanied us for over one year everywhere and captured very emotional, intimate, and human situations."

The group will play seven shows in four different countries: Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and Belgium.
10.12 - Madrid (Spain) @ Sala We Rock
11.12 - Porto (Portugal) @ Metal Point
12.12 - Lisbon (Portugal) @ RCA Club
13.12 - Zaragoza (Spain) @ Sala Utopia
14.12 - Worblaufen (Switzerland) @ Downi
15.12 - Roeselare (Belgium) @ De Verlichte Geest
18.12 - Porto (Portugal) @ Metal Point
Drummer Aquiles Priester believes that this European tour will close the band's first year on a very positive note:
"I think our year could not end in a better way",
"Before going to Europe for the first time, we will go on a major Brazilian tour in a way that only well organized and well structured bands can do. Our trip to Europe would not come at a better time, because we'll be well rehearsed and ready to perform a great show".
"Let's end the year on a high note, showing our music to a new audience (who already know us from other bands), the modern and powerful music of Noturnall. I'm sure that we will succeed and this will give us a big breath for next year, which will be a definitive year in the band's career with the plans that we are drawing up".

DATE: 25th January
LOCATION: Lewisham, London
VENUE: The Fox & Fertin
This is GMA's first ever live report from this venue and indeed the first one from this part of London, headlining was Canterbury's very own bruisers Wretched Soul and supporting them was M2TM Essex finalists Merciless Fail (Southend), Thrash maniacs Bloodshed from downtown London (we couldn't do a report for these guys due toand East Kent's vampire cult followers Dark Theory. This was a gig that produced enough brutality to keep the beer flowing freely, so much so even the bar staff began to rock out.
< Ryan Wigley, possessed by a demon burnt down the stage in style.
Kicking off tonight's bill was Kent's own Vampire lords Dark Theory of whom deliver their unique style of Gothic Black Metal, sadly tonight Olivia Kennett the band's bassist could not make it due to family bereavement, but the lads put on a performance that she would be certainly proud of, especially when main vocalist Ryan Wigley took on both main and backing vocal duties, this was a true dark theory. On the cold night it was, Dark Theory took no prisoners in enveloping the congregated fans and pleasure drinkers in the back of the venue with their spine-chilling music, slaughtering everything in their path as weary onlookers watched in amazement as riff after riff the band sliced open the bleak atmosphere that lay before the gig kicked off, only for their set to be over before people had really settled in, whether they needed longer to connect with the audience is a doubtful question, especially when this is possibly the best line-up the band has had, all that was left was neck bites on everyone, damn vampires.
^ Stoz was proving to the audience that he was forged in black
Stepping up to the pinnacle point of this emphatic gig was Southend slayers Merciless Fail with their majestic slapping of Heavy Thrash Metal, armed with greater fire power with their new guitarist Tim Chandler (Rob Chappers had departed to our amazement), the megalithic monster that stood before us exploded until life and proved their point of why they deserved to play at Bloodstock last year. Out with Rob and in with Tim, the evidence was clear that the passion to screw people's minds was there, but what made these lads performance tonight the best they have done on the venue circuit was the tighter unification, so perhaps it was the bandmember changing that lead to the reality of either change now to 'fortify or die', and fortify they did, with a barrage of slit-throat riffs, drums to signal the oncoming war and vocals to make you explode in your pants, this is the true Merciless Fail.
< Luke's amp volume level 13 impression
Following in the hot footsteps of Merciless Fail was another Bloodstock gargantuan band, Canterbury's purveyors of Heavy Metal Wretched Soul. Upon kicking their set off, the atmosphere just got a whole lot heavier, exploding from every corner of the venue and rebounding to complete wipe the smirks off any pitiful person who wasn't drunk enough, this is a band that speaks through their music and takes no mercy or hate seriously, well they do have a Wretched Soul amongst the four lads and it's that influence that gave them the upsurge of power to round off for what has been a killer start to 2013. If this line-up was to be repeated again, then it is sure to blow up another venue as post-gig, their were reports of potholes emerging in the nearby roads and streets as this sensational band brutally smash everything that they produced that night, fury fought with furious fury.

Date: 10th November 2012
Venue: The Twist
Location: Colchester, Essex
Promoter: Alien Nation Live
Such a line-up that spoke a thousand words even when this is the rebirth of one of Colchester's most known music venues besides its main venue the Colchester Arts Centre.
This line-up saw the likes of Southend Heavy Thrashers Merciless Fail, fresh from their successful mission at the Bloodstock Open Air Festival and was one of the last gigs that featured Mr. Rob Chapman on guitar duties. Joining them was the alternative rockers Trash Monroe who put together a solid sound of pop rock and pop punk with emo and gothic tinges here and there and also come from Southend. The third and final act of the night was The Mariana Hollow, who come from Greater London and put together a lavish mix of modern rock and alternative metal, somewhat similar to Evanescence, with this eclectic line-up, expectations ran high.
In order of performance: Trash Monroe, The Mariana Hollow and Merciless Fail
< Melany could not resist feeding Brad some Belgian chocolates she bought before the gig.
This was to be a night that spewed out a host of rock and metal genres that appealed to everyone, but as soon as the night drew in and Trash Monroe got onto the stage, The Twist was about to be blown apart by the savage sinners known as Trash Monroe, the Southend female-fronted leviathan summoned out their best sounds through a slick yet sick explosion of pop rock and pop punk tracks that quite simply made the bands of yesteryear fall on their knees. Here was a band that simply sparked off fireworks and laid the path for the following acts to follow down, but what made Trash Monroe the all more impressive was the stage interaction between Melany and her fellow musicians, that sort of affectionate approach, not as much as erotic, but erotic in her dictionary was teasing the band members, let alone leaving the crowd begging for more as her vocals simply redefined divinity. On par with the vocals the guitars, bass and drums all acted as a solid wall of sound and through the mastermind geniuses that stood before us, Trash Monroe were inspirational and yet had proven their worth of why they are the next Essex rock band that deserve to grace the covers of Kerrang! magazine, even we thought this lot would be apt on BBC Radio 2, their performance was solid, full of rock and most importantly got this party pit open and so came to their time where stage exit was due, and the cleaning up of blood stains was to begin, blood from the bleeding ears of the crowd that is.
 RHYS STEVENSON
< Rebecca was sure that her vocals weren't powerful enough to blow up the mic.
Following up from the delights of Trash Monroe was London's very answer to Evanescence, the rock mob known as The Mariana Hollow, however expectations were short lived as as soon as the band got onto the stage, the crowd interaction went from full on to full off, there was minimal stage interaction and the atmosphere was bleak, but what made up for the downfalls was the music, an iceberg consisting of darkened lyrics, Gothic feeling and sombre lust, just the final touches were nowhere to be found. Sure this is a band with utmost promise and enough passion to make passion fruit seem almost inundated and somewhat questionable of its existence, yet as the mood brood and the atmosphere forever hung in total bleakness, The Mariana Hollow were at times spectators on stage, but in all due course the band performed well, just not at their very best and so the next time they grace this stage, all eyes will be on them.
[6.5] RHYS STEVENSON
< Apparently the bible states that three wise man also gave Jesus guitars.
What was to come next was a band that is considered the beacon of light for the Southend Metal scene, fresh from their duties at Bloodstock, Merciless Fail took no prisoners as they slayed into the crowd with Stoz delivering a vocal range that would make any opera singer look as if they were training to sing, unleashing absolute hell through the slashing guitars were three young chaps, one of which is no longer with Merciless Fail, perhaps this was a testament to Rob's services, none the less the lads finished off what was left of the crowd, leaving nothing but the echoing sound of a night's worth of epic music and sensational talent. As Merciless Fail weaved through their catalogue of songs, they took their chances and livened up their playing, this is a band that has gone from newcomer to rookie and now stand proud and tall as professional musicians and as the boys closed up tonights gig, many were wanting to rewind the clock, watching all of tonights guitar virtuoso's, right to the very first note unleashed through the speakers, but as the saying goes, you can have too much of a good thing, yeah right!
