Gone By Sundown was originally formed in 2013 by Tonie Rombin and Tomas Pedersen. The idea was to mix styles and inspiration from many different bands among Mustach, Motörhead and newer metal. The band soon recorded its debut single A Wise Mans Linger along with their debut video but shortly after, the members ran into internal problems and the band was put on ice. In early 2017, the project was re-started by Tonie Rombin and after extensive searching a new line-up was ready to write and perform. The first new track written by the new Gone By Sundown was Will You Remember and was quickly followed by a batch of new material and the re-working of some old numbers to suit the new line up. During September and October 2017, the single and accompanying video was recorded and at the end of December 2017, Will You Remember(mixed by talented Brazilian underground producer Marcos Cerutti) was ready for release. The track was mastered by Swedish legendary producer Ronnie Björnström, known for working with heavy acts like Meshuggah, Nagelfar, any many more! Gone By Sundown are now preparing the release of their new EP The Endless Path in May via Sliptrick Records. Hungarian thrashers Archaic have revealed their brand new video for “The Saw”, taken from their latest album How Much Blood Would You Shed To Stay Alive. The album is a follow-up to their first full-length, Time Has Come To Envy The Dead that was released more than 12 (!) years ago in 2005 via ViC Records. The debut quickly gained the band international recognition and got them to a tour to support Testament in Germany. The band issued their new video with the following description to set the mood: “In 2018, a large number of dead bodies were found in a hidden room, near to thrash metal band Archaic's rehearsal room. A badly damaged video camera was found thrown into a near trash container. The following footage was retrieved from the broken memory card. Viewer discretion advised.” ► You can watch it on the following link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_oxYc_o7k4 The band stated the following - as they won awards for the best studio production and best artwork also: “The recording process has started in 2016 with Attila Vörös (SOW, Satyricon) and continued with István Horváth (ex-Blind Myself, PMA). We’ve recorded it only for ourselves, we neither wanted to release it, nor to make it available publicly. The mood was always excellent in the studio, and during the recording we were convinced to take this album seriously. Following a series of positive feedback, we asked Péter Sallai to make something for the cover art, which he did in merely 4 days. The rest is history…” Archaic - How Much Blood Would You Shed To Stay Alive (2017 - NAIL Records / 2018 - Plastic Head Distribution)

Decibel Magazine unfolds the premiere of the second track "Pole cicha šaptała kałossiem..." from the upcoming album, which is based on poems from the beginning of the 20th century. Listen to it RIGHT HERE. "With lyrics and music based on and inspired by Slavic poetry, I Miortvym Snicca Zolak enfolds the listener in a blinding maelstrom of spellbinding riffs, weightless but imbued with that special brand of Eastern European melancholy that makes bands from that part of the world so singular, and so irresistible." — Dutch Pearce, Decibel Magazine The Band informs: “The song “Pole cicha šaptała kałossiem” is taken from the poem (having the same title) of Michas Charot — the Belarusian poet, playwright and writer who was shot in the framework of the repression, committed by the Soviet leaders in October, 1937. Michas dedicated this to Tishke Gartnoy (real name Dmitry Fyodorovich Zhilunovich), another prominent poet from Belarus. The poem fits perfectly into the music of Raven Throne, thus forming one of the most powerful and piercing tracks from this album.” PRE-ORDER:

Their sound blends symphonic and choral sonorities, electronics and Mediterranean echoes into a solid metal frame with a strongly dark mood. Their lyrics are usually centred on the theme of the afterlife, on the life and death dichotomy, the fleetingness of time and the misery of the human condition. The band is named after the asphodel, typical Mediterranean flower connected to the ancient Greek Underworld: in the ancient Greek mythology, the Asphodel Meadows is a place where the indifferent souls, who lived a life of neither good or evil, are sent to live after death. The band released a promo EP entitled ’Vengeance' on May 26, 2016, receiving enthusiastic response from their fan-base. In May 2017 they signed a management and booking deal with The Flaming Arts Agency, leading to important stage experiences such as the Female Metal Voices Tour Russia 2017 as main support to The Agonist, Sirenia and Cellar Darling. Recently, Asphodelia have recorded their debut album "Welcome Apocalypse" and signed to Denmark's Mighty Music. The band are currently about to perform on an European tour with more shows to come, in support of the album release. Truth is free from labels and categories. What lies beyond has no boundaries. Welcome to the place in the Underworld where boundaries fall apart. Welcome to the Asphodel Meadows. The long awaited album of Asphodelia will be released on April 20th 2018, with gigs starting even before the release. Asphodelia already have these dates confirmed - and more to come: 31.03 “The Carlisle" - Hastings, UK 01.04 “The Quinphonic Festival” - Birmingham, UK 02.04 “The Musician” - Leicester, UK 05.05 “SinFest Metal Festival” - Paola, MALTA 02.06 “The One Metal Club” - Milan, ITALY 15.06 "Zobens un Lemess Open Air” - Bauska, LATVIA 23.06 “Metal Lorca” - Lorca, SPAIN Check out the lyric video for the title track "Welcome Apocalypse" here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqB-4nBgTc8&feature=youtu.be https://www.facebook.com/asphodeliaofficial/ Chaostar are now streaming their complete forthcoming album, 'The Undivided Light'. The Greek avant-garde explorers will release their fascinating fifth full-length on March 23rd, 2018. 'The Undivided Light' is now premiering at the link below, which can be published immediately. Link:- www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ns1il5JE0o Chaostar vocalist Androniki Skoula comments: "The human being as an individual and as a master of his own destiny appears again as the central core around which our forthcoming album, 'The Undivided Light' revolves. We have always been attracted to the investigation of the womb in which our secretive and most tiring battles take place. There is no blood there, no human casualties, no weapons, but only arsenals of strength and belief, waiting for us to prove that we deserve the feasts that life has provided us unconditionally. Silent soldiers confronting their lethal decisions, an ancient conspiracy in the subconscious, memories, and intentions merging into a crystal magic ball, a two-sided coin. Life and death, this price has to be paid. The light that leads cannot be divided, its flame sprung from the opened doors of knowledge and wandered in silent yards, confronting the eternal circle of yin and yang. Its flame asks from each of us to be remembered. Its flames demand to be protected and kept alive, either to light the way or to burn down. 'The Undivided Light' is an album that does not just 'comment' on someone's ability to defend certain values, but it is mostly a statement of the band's contributors that outlines the secretive 'liaison' between memory and conscience. The extent of conscience in our actions defends the real value of any kind of memory that we inherit towards others and also towards ourselves. In the end, the level of self-redemption does not only relate to our actions, but mostly to the pretext into which we include them. Remembrance has become a struggle, it is not an easy medal to gain, an undivided flame that burns on the soil of our soul. May we be remembered." 'The Undivided Light' comes as an invitation to a fascinating musical journey around the globe, which is equally true for space as well as time. Chaostar is far more than just a side-project of Septicflesh guitarist Christos Antoniou. Chaostar was conceived out of Christos' longing to create music that reflects more on his aspect as an academy trained composer and go beyond the possibilities that his orchestral arrangements for Septicflesh offer. After all, the guitarist finished his studies of classical composition in London with honours and distinction. When Septicflesh released their single, "The Eldest Cosmonaut" in 1998, the Greek band took a step towards classical music, which in turn inspired Christos to create Chaostar to pursue this course even further. Out of a timeless confrontation of different sounds and styles rose an avant-garde concept for emotional music to which vocalist Natalie Rassoulis added a feminine voice. After a first statement of intent via a demo entitled 'The Underworld' in 2000, Chaostar released the albums 'Chaostar' (2000), 'Threnody' (2001), and 'The Scarlet Queen' (2004), as well as the 'Underworld' compilation in 2007. After a self-imposed hiatus of both Chaostar and Septicflesh, Christos decided to revive his project as well when the latter reunited. The former returned with their fourth full-length, which was based on a Greek word roughly translating as "sin". 'Anomima' featured the celestial vocals of new singer Androniki Skoula, who also contributed most of the lyrics. 'Anomima' brilliantly combined rich, classical orchestration with lush soundscapes and modern textures, and even some elements of extreme music. Chaostar easily adopted a global musical language that induced the listener into a dreamlike trance with geographically unchained sounds. With the 'The Undivided Light', Chaostar take their experimentation another step further. Classic orchestration, traditional instruments, electronica, rock, and more are deconstructed by Christos only to be reassembled into something fresh and exciting. 'The Undivided Light' gives new meaning to the term world music. www.facebook.com/chaostar.official Swedish metal band, Hexed, have released a lyric video for the song 'Obedience', the track is taken from their debut album 'Netherworld', out on March 30th - 2018, via ViciSolum Productions. TINA GUNNARSSON - Vocals DANIEL HÅKANSSON - Bass STELLAN GUNNARSSON - Guitars, Keys, Vocals TEDDY MÖLLER - Drums HEXED was formed in 2015 by vocalist/songwriter Tina and lead-guitarist/ songwriter Stellan Gunnarsson in Uppsala, Sweden. Both of them played in several bands before and had an early history in the metalscene and of music composing. Now they wanted to create and write music together, something completely new. They started writing songs and soon they knew exactly what kind of sound they were aiming for. Since both of them had the source of inspiration from bands such as Queensrÿche, Crimson Glory and Pagans Mind they knew that they wanted to create metal music with focus on strong and powerful vocals combined with melodic guitars. When they had the songs ready and the preproduction was about to start they had to find members who got the quality's required to setup the band. The driven bassist Daniel Håkansson who played earlier in other metal bands, were chosen to take place along with the experienced musician Teddy Möller on drums. HEXED was now formed and complete as a band. The debut single and lyric video release ”Dreams” was launched in the beginning of May 2016. The debut album "Netherworld" was recorded and produced in 2017. HEXED released their second official music video ”Exhaling Life”. This song and video contains guest vocals from Thomas Vikström and was filmed and produced by the talented Magnus Ewald who also produced videos for Liv Sin, Crucified Barbara, Firespawn, etc. "Exhaling Life" was also released as a limited edition promo EP in March 2017. The interest and response for HEXED music after the releases have been overwhelming. HEXED got several proposals to consider and are very proud for the decision to sign a worldwide deal with Thomas Hörnkvist and ViciSolum Productions. This Swedish label already have several established bands in its row, such as Persefone, Loch Vostok and Divine Ascension. www.hexed.se www.facebook.com/hexedmetal Rockshots Records is proud to announce the release of Shadygrove's debut album "In The Heart Of Scarlet Wood" in Japan via Rubicon Music on April 25th, 2018. Commenting on the new addition to the band, founder and frontman Hugin had this to say: "Not only do we consider Galheim to be the best Danish drummer that ever walked this earth, but also, and even more importantly, we consider him to be the only real match for Blodarv, not just from a musical perspective, but also when it comes to the ideology, visions, and essence of the band. So much so, in fact, that we actually neither looked anywhere else, nor accepted any applications from anyone to take over the drummer's vacancy. Everyone in the band was in agreement that we didn't just want a great drummer, we wanted one who was hewn from the same rock as Blodarv, and Galheim was that person. "He has his roots firmly planted in the Danish Black Metal scene of the 90’s and is someone we can connect and sync with, both musically and on a personal level, because he shares and understands the passion and dedication that goes into a life's work such as Blodarv. Not only do we want to keep the flame burning, we want to add fuel to the fire, elevate the band, and sharpen the knife that is Blodarv".
