UK Thrash legends Onslaught are one of the most explosive and controversial Metal bands ever to come out of the UK. Releasing 3 now legendary albums in the 80's (Power From Hell, The Force, In Search of Sanity), the band marked it's path to become a major influence for many Metal generations to follow. Since reforming in 2005, the band have performed countless shows / tours all across the globe, earning themselves the reputation as one of the very best Live Acts in the scene today, with crushing performances at Wacken, Bang Your Head, Thrash Domination, 70000 Tons of Metal, Hammersonic, Hellfest, Brutal Assault & Bloodstock Festivals to name just a few. With four critically acclaimed album releases in 2007 / 2009 / 2011 & 2013 (Killing Peace / Live Damnation / Sounds of Violence / VI) and with the back catalog being released no fewer than 3 times Onslaught stands as one of the most respected acts in the Metal scene today. During the mass promotion in the USA for the latest studio album ‘VI’ we saw Onslaught reach and stay in the top 10 of the CMJ charts for 4 consecutive weeks. ‘VI’ was also the number 1 selling thrash metal album with Amazon.com becoming one of the biggest selling acts in North America for their Label AFM records. Early 2016 saw the release of ‘Live at the Slaughterhouse’ a live DVD that celebrated the power and raw intensity of an Onslaught show that was well received by the public and critics alike. 2016 also saw Onslaught as the first international thrash metal band to play Vietnam as well as touring China, Taiwan and Indonesia and Europe. 2017, the band hit South and Central America, Mexico and once again Europe. One of the highlights of the year however was breaking new ground as the first legitimate international thrash metal band ever to play in the Lebanon. With a new album now well underway the Onslaught continues, as relentless and hungry as ever! Naqada Music Management are so glad for signing a PR deal with the amazing Philadelphia-NWOTHM band, Corners of Sanctuary. 2012 marked the release of their debut album “Breakout”. Being well received, “Breakout” was listed in the Lithuanian publication Diovim as one of the Best CDs of 2012. With the marketing power of Pure Steel Records, Germany, “Breakout” was quickly followed up by “Harlequin”, releasing in January 2013. Later that same year, their third album “Axe to Grind” released under La Mazakuata Records, Mexico. In late 2014, Pure Steel Records re-released “Axe to Grind” in Europe. In September 2015, COS signed with Metalizer Records, Germany, for the release of their fourth full-length album “Metal Machine”. The album was mastered by famed producer and Death Dealer guitarist Stu “The Hammer” Marshall, and was met with worldwide critical acclaim delivering hits like “Wrecking Ball” and “Tomorrow Never Comes.” COS has appeared on the covers of Spain’s Heavy Riffs Magazine (Aug 2015), Rockwired Magazine (USA) (Feb 2016) and Sin City’s Presents (USA) (Feb 2017). The band was also named “Artist of Month” three times by Rockwired Magazine in August 2015, again in March 2016 and most recently in March 2018. Corners of Sanctuary has performed with many prominent artists including being direct support for: Anvil, Stryper, Dirkschneider (UDO,) Tim “Ripper” Owens (Judas Priest), Blood Feast, Grim Reaper, Blood Feast, David Shankle (Manowar), Bulletboys, Joey Belladonna, and Roughhouse (Teeze), Damon Johnson (Black Star Riders, Thin Lizzy). Other notable artists COS has worked with include: Butcher Babies, Tracii Guns, Saving Abel, Saxon, Tantric, Marc Rizzo of Soulfly, Green Jello, Black Lodge, Anvil Bitch, Wrath, Act of Defiance, Britny Fox, Silvertung and Edge of Paradise among others. In 2016, COS released their best of compilation, “Declaration of Metal” which contained a brand new track titled “Hyde No More”. The release also produced two music videos which, collectively, received over 30K views on YouTube. Most recently, in March 2017, the band dropped a new digital EP titled “Cut Your Losses” on Exquisite Noise Records USA along with a video for the track “Wild Card” garnishing over 45K views on YouTube and Facebook combined. The band’s new album, the hard driving “The Galloping Hordes”, is now set and ready to unleash in 2018 on Killer Metal Records and has the distinction of including legendary producer and engineer Bill Metoyer (Slayer, W.A.S.P., Fate Warning) as head of the post production mastering team. Corners of Sanctuary continues to tour supporting their unique brand of Modern Traditional Heavy Metal (New Wave of Traditional American Heavy Metal) In late 2017, the band recorded two new singles, “Dreams,” featuring Kayla Marie from Powerless Rise on vocals and “Burn” featuring singer Treese Logan. The band also completed the The American Metal Mayhem Tour which was presented by Metal Babe Mayhem and MBM Music LLC in November, which took them to throughout Southern California. 2018 has the band going to Europe for a summer tour in support of their new album and beyond. Hard hitting, head banging, straight forward Heavy Metal is the mission of Corners of Sanctuary - nothing less will do. Old School is back with a vengeance.... Metal has returned – COSnROLL! We teamed up with the band to announce for their upcoming European tour very soon. Stay tuned this week for more! San Pablo City-based black metal collective Omenfilth is pleased to unveil a limited cassette edition of their Hymns Of Diabolical Treachery full-length today via Eternal Death Records! Self-produced and initially released on CD via Nero One Records, Omenfilth's Hymns Of Diabolical Treachery showcases the band's curious duality with Side A highlighting their classic, maniacal nastiness and Side B offering up one twenty-plus minute track of chilling ambience. Hymns Of Diabolical Treachery is out now on cassette and digital formats via Eternal Death Records. Orders are currently available at THIS LOCATION where the record can be streamed in full. Featuring members of long-running death metal behemoths Pathogen, Omenfilth was spawned from the abyssal crypts of the Philippines and vomits forth vehement black metal terror reminiscent of early Rotting Christ, Varathron, Necromantia, and Samael. Standing apart from the throngs of bestial black/death metal clones, Omenfilth chooses to take a path less travelled, harnessing the external darkness of the world and the internal feelings of misanthropy, apathy, desolation, and the urge for heretical wisdom and occultic esoterica, and fusing it all to create blackened death/thrash of the highest quality. http://www.facebook.com/eternaldeathUSA Decibel has premiered Ruinous Ensoulment, the forthcoming full-length debut album from Greek Death Metallers Gravewards. Stream Gravewards' Ruinous Ensoulment decibelmagazine.com/2018/07/23/full-album-stream-gravewards-ruinous-ensoulment/ Gravewards will release Ruinous Ensoulment July 27 through Unspeakable Axe Records (available through international distribution channels on August 31). Pre-orders are available at this location. Appearing almost completely from thin air, Greek death metallers Gravewards made a small but intense impression with their 2017 demo Subconscious Lobotomy. That independently-released 4-track tape was the kind of death metal too rarely heard in recent years, having the spirit of the original bands but not married to any particular influence or scene. Rather than emulating an album or style they loved, Gravewards paid some homage to the sounds of the 1990s while finding their own way forward. Now their debut full-length Ruinous Ensoulment is here, and it delivers thoroughly on the promise and the mission statement of their demo. Seven bludgeoning tracks and one intro deep, this album has the band reaching a very early peak in their young career. Songs are technical without descending into wankery, often utilizing the kind of backward, nightmare-logic riffs that initially separated death metal from thrash, but which many bands now have either discarded in favour of straightforward Slayerisms or pushed to an incomprehensible extreme. Gravewards finds fertile ground in between, delivering one line after another that is somehow incredibly catchy but also very unique. These passages often give way to either groovy mid-tempo parts or bursts of full-on melody, without ever becoming saccharine - again, a degree of good taste is shown that is too rare in a genre where bands like to find what works and then double or triple down on it. Over these well-developed compositions, vocals are less growls than the shouts of a crazed demon choking on the blood of its enemies. Nothing about Ruinous Ensoulment is rote or easily expected; instead Gravewards marks out their own territory with the creativity and fearlessness that was more prevalent when the genre was still new. www.facebook.com/Gravewards/ http://unspeakableaxerecords.com unspeakableaxerecords.bandcamp.com/ www.facebook.com/unspeakableaxerecords https://twitter.com/UARMetal Missouri thrash band Degrave have teamed up with No Clean Singing to stream the entirety of their new Self-Titled album. Their third and hotly anticipated album titled 'Bukkraken' will be released on October 26th 2018. Carcharodon started their journey as a power trio in 2003, inspired by a concept of the Nattero brothers (Boggio & Pixo). The band's intent was to mix extreme metal with the blues and heavy doom tunes. After several demos, split records as well as two critically acclaimed studio albums, followed by numerous shows all over Europe and the States, Carcharodon are getting back to their roots in terms of their sound and while they recorded their best album to date. Says the band: „We decided to get in touch with Argonauta and Gero because this new record means a lot to us in terms of the band's evolution of sound, and we thought it deserved to be pushed properly with all possible means. We saw Argonauta grow fast during these last years and sign a lot of good bands of friends in the heavy genre, so we thought this could be the best choice for us. We asked some of these bands that are now our label mates and saw that they were happy with the label, so we immediately wrote to Gero and we are proud to say that he’s been one of the few who wasn’t afraid to invest in our raw and brutal vision of music and showed the will and courage to support our musical endeavours. After meeting him in person we immediately understood we were talking with the right guy and we are sure we will do a great job together supporting our music vision, which is something hard to describe or tag as a certain genre.. as usually we fit them all and we fit none, but that’s part of being unique! We’re pretty pumped up about the release!” 'Bukkraken' will be coming as CD and Digital Download, and is set for a release on October 26th 2018 with Argonauta Records. Set for international release on July 27th via Hells Headbangers, hear Invocation Spells' Spread Cruelty in the Abyss in its entirety exclusively HERE. There's simply no stopping Invocation Spells. One of the hottest bands in the shit-hot Chilean black/death scene, this diabolical duo continues to unleash one punishing slab of filth 'n' fury after another, each one more concise and crushing than the next. Spread Cruelty in the Abyss follows hot on the heels of the critically acclaimed The Flame of Hate, released internationally last year by Hells Headbangers. Like that predecessor, Spread Cruelty in the Abyss wastes absolutely no time in igniting a sulphurous conflagration from the first few notes...except this time, it's more quickly apparent how daresay catchy Invocation Spells have become. Lest anyone accuse the band of softening or selling out, be aware that Spread Cruelty in the Abyssis simply and 100% Invocation Spells through and through: no compromise, and no quarter. Like The Flame of Hate before it and Descendent the Black Throne before that, Spreads Cruelty in the Abyss possesses a special magic that eludes easy "blackthrash" categorization - namely, through an acute balance between the bestial and more classically speed metal tropes - but the molten, even martial pulse the duo develop further here turns these more deliberately hypnotic spells of possession into veritable anthems of minimalism, spilling poison and black blood in equal measure, and even more endlessly headbanging than before. And with this unselfconscious, even-more-pronounced emphasis on "catchiness" comes an even swifter and stricter sense of economy: Spread Cruelty in the Abyss clangs 'n' bangs with absolute authority in a mere 26 minutes. Get in, get out, get fucked. And just like they have with their songwriting nous, Invocation Spells have all about perfected their production style, once again locating that ever-so-sweet middle-ground between fuck-off raw and clear/cutting, with each incensed-yet-impassioned note ringing out through the humid haze before mangling the mind with quintessentially Chilean diabolism. This summer's gonna be a hot one, then, so no better time to Spread Cruelty in the Abyss! Hear all of it for yourself exclusively HERE, courtesy of CVLTNation.com. Many continents can lay claim to being formative breeding grounds for various pieces of the extreme metal puzzle, but perhaps none were such a melting pot as South America in the 1980s. Bands in Brazil, Chile, and other countries pushed thrash metal to its limits until it blurred into what would later be known as black and death metal, and dressed the whole thing in extreme expressions of occultism and hellfire. With that bed of influence bubbling beneath them, modern-day thrashers Hellish make perfect sense: tightened and refined (but only barely), without diminishing any of the speed-freak tendencies or punkish intensity of their predecessors, and certainly no less devoted to the left hand path. Coming out of Santiago, Chile in the 2010s, Hellish previously made believers out of thrash fans worldwide with their Unspeakable Axe-released debut, Grimoire. Only two years later, the follow-up album manages to out-pace and out-riff what came before. Classic speed metal-style riffs cut through an atmosphere of evil worthy of Bathory or Possessed - this is formative stuff, once again splashing around in the dark murk between thrash and black metal, and even straight-up heavy metal in the occasional, surprisingly melodic lead parts. But make no mistake: Hellish worship at the twin altars of evil and velocity, and The Spectre of Lonely Souls is a sermon strictly for the already-converted. www.facebook.com/Hellishchile/ http://unspeakableaxerecords.com unspeakableaxerecords.bandcamp.com/ www.facebook.com/unspeakableaxerecords https://twitter.com/UARMetal Romanian Black Metal group Ordinul Negru are ready to release their eight studio album, Faustian Nights, on the 30th of July in collaboration with Loud Rage Music.
