On October 14th Germany's own Waldgeflüster returns with their 4th full-length album. The single Weltenwanderer has it's premiere and is presented & streamed by German online outlet Metal.de. Weltenwanderer premiere @ metal.de : http://tinyurl.com/jl6bwzw In order to celebrate the upcoming album Waldgeflüster will perform two release shows this fall. September 30th, Nordvis Höstfest - En Arena, Stockholm (Sweden) https://www.facebook.com/events/781101922026645/ With Panopticon & Grift October 15th, Backstage - München (Germany) https://www.facebook.com/events/1688108898110429/ With Negură Bunget Ruinen (Ruins) is a heavy masterwork of emotive and moving metal, a gem that blends a vast variety of different genres within the metal spectrum. With Ruinen Waldgeflüster venture further away from their origin and the traces of more traditional black metal fades away and leave place for a more promising sound with no boundaries. It's certain that Ruinen is a wonderful melancholic journey that has allowed Waldgeflüster to reach another level. A level where the sounds of atmospheric folk metal of artists like Falls of Rauros and Panopticon merges with the older doom / post-metal sounds of artists such as Anathema & Katatonia. One of the most interesting metal releases of 2016, no doubt. Follow Waldgeflüster Homepage

After two successful independent releases, their Imminence Records’ debut, and two tours; metalcore outfit Under Paris is pleased to release their brand new single “Revive.” The music video was just premiered and is released in support of their brand new tour with Ashes Of My Regrets and Set For Tomorrow that begins today in Beckley, WV. “‘Revive’ is more than just a song to us. It’s a new beginning. It’s a fresh start. For me personally it’s about getting a lot of things of my chest and saying what I’ve been thinking and feeling for the past two years. You hear the phrase ‘turning the page’ a lot but this is so much more. This is us closing the book on what we use to be and starting something new. This is us, being honest and being real. This is us moving on, this is us growing. This is our Revive.” - Michael Alexander (Vocalist) Cursed Records is proud to announce that Nephrolith have just signed with them for their upcoming album. The new opus will be called Paleness of the Bled World and will be released on the 11th of November 2016. Below you can listen to the preview track "Moth" featuring Tim Yatras (Austere / Germ) and take a first look at the artwork! More to be announced soon! Death is coming nearer with the release of the long awaited new studio album by Dutch Doom Death Metal division Asphyx on September 30th, 2016 worldwide via Century Media Records. Consequently, it’s about time to launch a first song off 'Incoming Death', check out the relentless title track here: https://youtu.be/AYNkQh6VDNk The clip enhancing the song was edited by Carl Assault and features live-footage from the band’s performance at Brutal Assault Open Air 2015. Asphyx vocalist Martin van Drunen checked in to comment on the song as follows: “’Incoming Death’ was music-wise composed in perhaps 10 minutes when Husky and Paul were checking the sound in the Perle am Rhein studio for the flexi recordings. When we all freaked out on it, we knew we had the title track for the album. It's so typical our Asphyx death metal style. Straight forward, no nonsense, three riff, in-your-face death metal. Not that we were looking for a title track that would be in the tradition of ‘Death The Brutal Way’ or ‘Deathhammer’. It just came out like this. It's a damn neck-breaker to raise hell to when playing live and that's why the choice for the track was only natural. Stanza, chorus, repeat, bridge, stanza, chorus, end. That's how it's done. On Instinct. Lyric-wise three times death and gore by plague, aliens and zombies. And some metal-beasts are even shorter than two minutes! So grab a beer, bang that head and scream along. This is fucking Asphyx and we always deliver the goods! “ Next to the album’s standard version on CD, Gatefold LP (with poster) and Digital Download, “Incoming Death” will also be as a limited edition 2-Disc Mediabook (with 3 stickers), including two bonus cover versions (“Servants Of The Warsmen” by Winter and “Master” by Master) as well as a DVD including the Asphyx live-shows at Czech Republic’s Brutal Assault Open Air 2015, France’s Hellfest 2016 and the video-clip for “Deathhammer”. The album’s vinyl version will be issued in the following versions: Black vinyl – Unlimited White vinyl – Limited to 200x via CMR Europe Webshop “Death Stench” green vinyl – Limited to 200x via CMR USA Transparent Red vinyl – Limited to 500x via CMR Distro Europe Clear vinyl – Limited to 300x via High Roller Records Picture Disc Winter Camouflage – Limited to 500x via Nuclear Blast Records The pre-sale via CMR Distro for Europe starts on Friday, September 2nd. Strigoi (The Karmakumulator remix)* *CD bonus track Croatian mavericks of the trance-like black craft are back with the reminder of what have become the cornerstone of their discography and easily one of the most unique extreme releases of the 2010s. Watch out for the re-release of their seminal second album on Arachnophobia Records. With two EP releases, and three full-length albums that wiped the boundaries of the black metal genre and brought the band to a firm and clear position at the crossroads of avant-garde, psychedelia, primitive trance-inducing blackness, and a modern approach devoid of limitations under their belts, Pogavranjen, Croatia’s by far most prominent black metal band, are about to remind their audience about their second titanic escapade. On “Sebi Jesi Meni Nisi”, the trademark sound of the band evolved into something truly terrifying. Its re-release will see the light of day and dead of night this fall. Veterans of Croatian extreme music use primordial negativity and blackness of bleak modern existence to painfully stomp a 42 minute long march through wastelands of rancid psyche fuelled by complete lack of hope. Through disgust and bewildering bestiality, Pogavranjen present the dawn of a new era of originality by painting the blackest of landscapes. While being endlessly negative, ugly and malevolent, “Sebi Jesi Meni Nisi” strikes with its progressive and meditative elements. It is an album which emanates a macabre deathly glow, as well as ambitious freshness. Its visionary construction and virtuoso musicianship echo through the avant-garde black metal underground. www.arachnophobia.pl www.facebook.com/arachnophobiarecs Metalcore quintet Smoke Signals has released a new music video and single for "Epilogue" off their forthcoming full length 'Anxiety' which is set to release on September 12th. Engineered, mixed and mastered by Simon Pettiford at Darkened Dreams Studios, the band's new album is sure to turn heads as they push the limits of hard rock while combining their take on metal. Pre-orders are available today on the band's web-store. Guitarist, Britton Shrum commented, ""Epilogue" is a different type of song than we are normally used to writing. We really wanted to push the limits of the music we were already creating. This band will always be about pushing the limits of our creativity. "Epilogue" is a song about living life with depression, constantly second guessing things and then the effect that it can have on your life." Watch Smoke Signals' new music video below. New York death metal bruisers Dehumanized are set to return with their third full length album, Beyond the Mind. Following their esteemed 2012 release Controlled Elite, they spent the past four years composing a monumental force of violence that will surpass all expectations. Everything is skill-fully coalesced to forge this masterpiece of devastation that is executed with dynamic precision and relentless brutality. A teaser video for Beyond the Mind has been posted at youtu.be/e0aZ07ex6Ug. Beyond the Mind was recorded at the renowned Full Force Studio and the massive audio production dialled in by Joe Cincotta. Plus fascinating artwork by the always talented Tony Koehl. Don't miss what's sure to be an instant classic. Comatose Music will release Beyond the Mind on October 28. www.facebook.com/DEHUMANIZED.NY www.comatosemusic.com Guitar icon Zakk Wylde has debuted an all new music video for his latest single "Sleeping Dogs" featuring Slipknot / Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor. The track has gone on to become the most successful active rock radio single of Wylde's career reaching as high as #22 in the U.S. and #11 in Canada. Directed by long time collaborator Justin Reich, the video can be seen here. The new video is being released on the heels of Zakk Wylde's memorable performance in Glendale, AZ opening up for Guns N' Roses last week on their current "Not In This Lifetime" tour. Zakk Wylde is currently on the tail end of a a U.S. and Canadian tour in continued support of his new LP, Book Of Shadows II. Wylde is hitting over 40 cities spread out across the U.S. and Canada which included a highlighted performance at Heavy MTL Festival in Montreal on August 7th, a first for him as a solo artist. Tickets are on sale now here, including VIP upgrades in all markets. Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown and Jared James Nichols will serve as support. Wylde will continue touring through the end of October, this time with Zakk Sabbath serving as support for Clutch. Zakk Sabbath includes himself, bassist Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie) and drummer Joey Castillo (Danzing, QOTSA) performing only BLACK SABBATH songs. Click here for more info. Book Of Shadows II was released on April 8th, 2016 via Entertainment One Music (eOne Music), Zakk Wylde's first solo release in 20 years. This release is the highly anticipated follow up to 1996’s Book of Shadows LP, a classic album Wylde released between his work with Ozzy Osbourne that has since become a fan favourite. The album debuted at #2 on the Independent Chart, #3 on the Rock Chart and # 6 on the Current Albums Chart, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The fearlessly introspective melancholy and melody of Book of Shadows helped to make its follow-up one of Rolling Stone’s Most Anticipated Albums of 2016. As fierce and diverse as his work in Black Label Society and as large as his accomplishments as lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne have been, Book of Shadows II offers an even richer look into the spirit and psyche of one of the most beloved pillars of the hard rock community. Brand new tracks like “Sleeping Dogs,” “Tears of December,” “Darkest Hour,” “Harbors of Pity,” and “The King” are bold proclamations of intense feeling and powerful catharsis. Zakk Wylde’s powerful pipes, mayhem-inducing charisma, mischievous humour, and instantly recognizable pinch-harmonic driven blues based histrionic guitar shredding have made him the world’s most beloved American Guitar Hero. In a new video, UK death metal giants Abhorrent Decimation confirm they have appointed Ross McLennan (of Reign of Fury fame) as their new lead guitarist. McLennan, a long time friend of the band, enters the fold to complete the line up and begins to contribute material as the group start work on their Prosthetic Records debut. “I’m really happy to be joining the band at such an exciting time. I’ve known the guys quite a while and always admired their drive and professionalism. I hope that I can add something to that formula and I look forward to contributing towards making the next record a success.” Vocalist Ashley Scott added, “Ross has been a friend of the band for such a long time, it’s great to have him fill this position. As a unit, we are closer than we have ever been, the creative juices are flowing and we are ready to seriously up our game from the Miasmic era. The themes for this new one are all done, we have a considerable amount of demoed material already and we are just extremely excited to collaborate with Prosthetic on this release.” On top of this, the video contains some new audio, perhaps a sign that things are changing with the bands sound? Bass player David Archer, who will also be engineering and producing the upcoming album had this to say… “The dynamic of the band has changed recently and that has obviously altered the way that we do things. I really wanted to try to include influences from other genres and styles to make our sound a bit broader and more musical whilst still retaining that aggression of our previous material. The main thing that I want to achieve with this album is to create something that sounds a bit more involved and thought-out. Something dark, brooding and just a bit more reflective, whilst still being something that our fans can appreciate and that we will enjoy playing live.” Rhythm guitarist William Cooke added, “We’re bringing a lot more to the table this time around, the demos we have made so far are packed with new influences and I know our fans are going to love the general direction of this sound. It’s an extremely exciting time.” The band have also shared the final run of dates that they will play before they head into the studio to begin recording this winter, they also confirm that they are main support to Wombbath in London next year at The Black Heart Camden, 3rd February 2017, get that one in your diaries. The final shows are… 27 August 2016 - The Black Heart, London 22 October 2016 - TBA, Belgium 23 October 2016 - TBA, Belgium 28 October 2016 - The Facebar, Reading 30 October 2016 - Fulford Arms, York You can follow the NEW Abhorrent Decimation guitarist Ross (Jackson Endorsed player) on Instagram and Facebook links.
