The second full-length album by Estonian progressive metal act Emphasis entitled "Soul Transfer" will be released worldwide on March 21st by Red Rivet Records (Japan). "Soul Transfer" is a masterpiece for the fans of old-school progressive metal, operatic vocals, and classical jazz. Heavy guitar riffs perfectly intertwined with complex rhythms and strong bass lines, melancholic melodies precisely developed with the delicate, noble and powerful voice of Anna Ganina. In addition to the core line-up, five guest musicians took a part in the recording process, including two well-known Estonian jazzmen Raul Sööt (sax) and Allan Järve (trumpet). They brought the bright elements of classical jazz, which blend in powerful metal music without any discomfort.
Progressive metal band Emphasis was formed in 2010 by guitarist Pavel Korotaev and bassist Katya Gritskova. For the last seven years, the band released debut EP "Into Infinity“ (2012), the full-length album "Revival" (2016) on the Italian label Underground Symphony, and played dozens of shows across the Baltic States and Finland. https://www.facebook.com/Emphasis.Estonia
