Italian Gothic Doom masters Motus Tenebrae release the new video off their album "Deathrising".
It is for the track "Desolation", and it's a new masterpiece of Gothic Doom Metal by one of the best bands in that genre.
The video, directed and edited by the great surreal artist Andrea Falaschi (http://fraterorion.deviantart.com), also drummer of the band, and Davide Frino, shows the decadent essence of a band celebrating one of the best and absolutely the darkest and gloomiest songs off "Deathrising".
The final result is a totally dark, dismal and dreary videoclip.

Fresh, dark and extremely powerful are only a few of the best ways to accurately describe Lacuna Coil’s latest opus 'Delirium', which encompasses the strength and heavy approach of thrash metal from the 90’s twisted with goth elements into a modern style. Now, the group proudly presents the album’s first official music video for its gripping title track 'Delirium' which was directed by Michael Winkler (iconographic).
Cristina Scabbia states: "We filmed our parts for this video in one evening while we were on the US tour this past May. We used a Go-Pro against a black backdrop and we wanted something that would be purposely rough, something that could remind some weird lost videos found after years and years.
The whole video edited together with the parts filmed by the director with an actress turned out as a very strange sort of a trip, where a girl tries to tight up memories and details together to try to find her sanity back, somehow. I really like some of the scenes as they reminded me some kind of Korean horror movies vibe and it is totally fitting the ‘Delirium' vibe and concept. It also leaves a lot to the imagination, so thanks for checking it out and enjoy."

Alpha Omega Management have announced the signing of Malta's Weeping Silence to its roster! Furthermore Weeping Silence will join Alpha Omega's two other roster bands, Cadaveria and Mechanical God Creation at “Voices Of The Succubi” (aka VOTS) – Female Fronted Metal Festival, set to take place on September 17th in Malta.
Gothic / Doom Metal band Weeping Silence, formed in 1998 in Malta, released their fourth album ‘Opus IV Oblivion‘ via Massacre Records, bringing together the best that Weeping Silence has to offer. Heavy, melodic, dark and full of ambience with doom-laden riffs. This album has already left its mark and received stellar ratings. It has been listed in Top 20 Best-of Albums of 2015 in several webzines. Over the years Weeping Silence appeared on-stage at numerous festivals and concerts, including UK dates with To-Mera, the Malta Doom Metal Fest, a tour in Benelux including Respect for Metal alongside Therion, Metaldays, Metal over Malta Fest and The Dames of Darkness Fest. Bookings for 2016 include January tour dates in France, Belgium and The Netherlands with Thurisaz, Gothoom Open Air Fest (Slovakia), Metal over Malta Fest, Metaldays (Slovenia), a November tour and others. Weeping Silence also organises and hosts the Metal over Malta Festival.
Sean (bass) states: "After what has been an incredible couple of years for Weeping Silence, playing shows across Europe and the release of our fourth studio album 'Opus IV Oblivion' late last year, we are thrilled to now announce our signing with Alpha Omega Management. We feel that they have the experience and vision to get Weeping Silence on the best international festivals and tours, and in so doing assure the band's best interests. Together we will undoubtedly achieve great things, and we look forward to many good times ahead!"
Alpha Omega Management adds:
"We're glad to welcome this great female fronted goth doom band to our family! Weeping Silence has been long around and their latest effort confirms that the band has still a lot to offer to their fans, and that new frontiers are soon to be reached, so stay tuned for next announcements!"
Italian “Vampiric Metal” legends Theatres Des Vampires are pleased to announce the release of their brand new album, ‘Candyland’, on October 14th via Scarlet Records. The album is produced and recorded by Christian Ice at Temple Of Noise Studio.
States the band:
"The new album has been inspired by a room of the infamous Pennhurst asylum in Pennsylvania, a room which was different from all the others, with coloured walls and bars on the windows, described as hell on earth by the patients of the facility, where adults and children with severe mental problems have been hidden from the public eye for decades. ‘Candyland’ was the name of that room.
Obsession and madness characterizes Theatres Des Vampires’ latest work, their sound is forceful and sensual at the same time, pervaded with those wistful and melancholic bursts which the band is renowned for."
Classically trained pianist, composer, vocalist and an accomplished writer / performer Ayin Aleph recently released her operatic, avant garde new single "Crystal Bell" via Elliptic Entertainment (order here). The teaser for her highly-anticipated music video for the track already boasts over 130,000 views - an impressive feat for a new, independent artist.
Today, Ayin is finally giving fans what they've been waiting for by releasing said music video - a visually extravagant offering accenting the Baroque / opera-influenced metal style of the track. You can watch the video today, exclusively via Bloody-Disgusting.com: http://bloody-disgusting.com/music/3396638/ayin-aleph-crystal-bell-video-premiere-exclusive/
The video for "Crystal Bell" was shot in Los Angeles over the course of three non-consecutive days. The video features three distinct locations, directed with the assistance of three different directors and cinematographers. Under the direction of Ayin Aleph, Denis Sobolev coordinated the group scenes, cinematographer and "Crystal Bell" video editor Gene Avakyan oversaw the glamour scenes and drone camera operation, and the underwater scenes were filmed with special techniques at the direction of Alex Sherman.
"Crystal Bell" was born in a moment of realization that we spend our lives searching for love while despising the ones who love us," states Ayin Aleph. She adds, "The video marks a turning point of the visual and musical expression of Ayin Aleph. Blurring the lines of fantasy and reality, the video portrays Ayin as an array of extravagant female archetypes - a sexy 50's pin-up character, an opera singer, a victim of drowning symbolizing love, a sexy vintage casino manager getting killed after a fight, and beyond. The video was shot in three days in Los Angeles with different cinematographers, notably because of the technical requirements of underwater filming and drone shots. Pulling together this profusion of elements with the amazing editing support of my drummer Shad Wilhelm was a challenging and tremendously rewarding experience!"
Eclectic and provocative, Ayin Aleph seeks to elevate the majesty inherent to classical music with the power of modern, progressive influences to create a new form of opera and pianistic neo-classical music, that is one viable to mass markets. That journey led to the formation of the band that carries her name, collaborations with some of the industry's top musicians and producers, the recording of 3 albums, 7 video productions, and live performances all over the world.
Ayin Aleph's upcoming album (currently in production) has been described as, "J.S. Bach and Freddie Mercury's love child marries Danny Elfman, while having a torrid affair with Pantera."
Although somewhat underground in the rock and metal scenes, Ayin Aleph is no stranger to the world of music. Ayin first played piano at the age of four, and by the time she was six, she was performing with a symphony orchestra. She was soon recognized by noted composer Dimitri Kabalevski as "one of the most promising virtuosos of her generation." By the age of 10, Ayin was composing and performing original pieces, in concert, for the Composers' Union in Moscow. Ayin continued her musical education in renowned institutions - Moscow Conservatory, The Royal Conservatory of Brussels, The European Conservatory in Paris. Gifted with perfect pitch, her experience and educational disciplines have augmented an organic process of original composition allowing her to use a lot of different musical styles within the frame of a song.
Ayin Aleph is:

Dutch symphonic metal stars Epica announced the release of their forthcoming record 'The Holographic Principle' (September 30th via Nuclear Blast), two weeks ago. Now the artwork has been revealed it is time for the band to announce the track-listing of this highly-awaited album. It racks up as follows:
The band commented:
"The Holographic Principle deals with the near future wherein virtual reality has taken off and allows people to create their own virtual worlds which can't be distinguished from "reality as we know it". This raises the question whether our current reality is a kind of virtual reality on itself, a hologram. This implies the existence of a higher reality which we currently do not have access to. The lyrics challenge you to think out of the box, to reconsider everything you thought to know for sure and to be open-minded towards recent revolutions in science. Fasten your seat belts and get ready for a ride as nothing appears to be what it seems in our holographic universe."
