A piece of Black Metal history has been lying dormant for over two decades, deep in the shadowy abyss of dust-ridden, musty vaults. The authors of this forbidden rite decided the world was not quite ready for its offering in 1995, and thus locked it away from the light. But the years passed, and gradually it's power grew too strong. Freed from its vault by genre-defining creators Cradle Of Filth and the recently resurrected extreme music label Cacophonous, the two have joined forces to finally unshackle the unreleased sophomore album "Dusk & Her Embrace… The Original Sin" as a CD and digital album on 8th July. A vinyl LP version will be available later this year.
“The wait is over. The original 'Dusk and Her Embrace' is dragged kicking and screaming into the world, and people can finally hear for themselves what a true masterpiece it is”
– Neil Harding, Cacophonous Label Head

It's been 17 years since their debut album "Looking Behind the Mirror..." was released.
The waiting is now over and their second full length album "Arlechino" is released today.
The album has 9 songs (plus a bonus track) focusing on the drama, life contrasts and inner struggles of the soul, a psychological puzzle "like an Arlechino act". Created on triple plan the concept brings the evolution of the human spirit.
The first one exposes the lie, paltriness, falsehood, hollowness, insincerity of the human being, strong egos creating suffering to others.
The second one creates an image about the positive part of humanity, the good we are able to bring to our planet and to people and most important: how we use our free will.
The last one represents the ether, philosophical, universal, macro-cosmic stage. Now, without space limits, the human being is the Universe and the Universe is rolling into him.
In fact, the album is a transposition of universal evolution of the human spirit. This mixture of feelings and emotions is revealed by theatrical voices and supported by the symphonic orchestra combined with dark and atmospheric passages and with the intriguing sounds of an anvil.
Album's artwork was designed by Costin Chioreanu (Paradise Lost, Arcturus, Mayhem, Vader, Ulver, At the Gates and many others), a very special artist who understood immediately Kratos' album concept, creating a very relevant and wonderful cover.
The band is having their record release gig tonight at Club Fabrica, Romania.

Finnish Cinematic Metal band Dark Sarah (formed by ex-Amberian Dawn singer Heidi Parviainen) will release a new album called "The Puzzle" later this year. The first music video for the song "Little Men" is just released.
Musically "The Puzzle" album will continue the cinematic metal sound, but this time a bit heavier and faster, combining different music styles spiced up with black humour and mystical stories with creatures of the Underworld.
Story: In the end of the debut album called "Behind the Black Veil", released last year through Inner Wound Reordings, the Evil Tree had broken into pieces and Dark Sarah´s soul with it. She did not die, but was left in a loop between two worlds, between life and death. She was sent down to the River of Death to drift along the streams and she ended up on an island in the middle of a mighty ocean. She woke up on the shores of the misty island. It was a magical rocky island, the rocks were black and they sparkled like covered by millions of diamonds in the endless night.
Sharp cliffs and huge statues painted the dark sky, the ocean was wild on its shores.Dark Sarah felt the air in her lungs - she was alive after all. She felt the strength coming back to her limbs, she got up and started to explore the island. She found a cave and went in. There she saw a light twinkling in the back of the cave and started to move towards it slowly. She looked through the small hole and was mesmerized. And THIS is the place for the first music video called "Little Men". It is surely something REALLY DIFFERENT and same time REALLY CRAZY!
Guests on the album: Manuela Kraller (ex Xandria) - Fate, JP Leppäluoto (Charon, Northern Kings) - Dragon and YET UNNAMED GUEST - Evil Siren Mairmaid

Lacuna Coil will be making their much-anticipated return to North America as part of the “Delirium Worldwide” tour next month. The first leg of the tour will feature Butcher Babies as direct support with 9Electric and Painted Wives rounding up the stellar package. The second leg will be announced in the coming weeks and will have a different band as direct support, while the rest of the touring package remains intact. You can check out their dates on their website and Facebook page.
Cristina Scabbia (female vocals) states:
"Everything feels different this time in the Lacuna Coil camp. It's something I can hear it and something I can breath. A new wave of confidence, a renewed essence and pure drops of energy sweating out of our pores. I can't wait to show it to all my friends and welcome you all once again in our family. Trust me, this is a ‘Delirium’ you will feel the NEED to be part of."
Andrea Ferro (male vocals) further adds:
"’Delirium’ is not the beginning of a new chapter in Lacuna Coil's life; it is the beginning of a new book! We're really excited about starting this touring cycle with such a fresh vibe, meeting old and new friends around the U.S. and get such great touring companions. We're just writing the first page of this book and it is already a crazy one."
Marco Coti-Zelati (studio guitars, live bass) continues:
"We’re all super excited to finally be coming back to the US and we’re ready to kick some asses with the greatest album that we’ve ever made! New line-up, new sound, a new vibe and new emotions. I can’t wait to see the reactions from the audiences when they hear the ‘Delirium’ songs played for the first time. Fresh, dark and powerful emotions all at the same time. The strength and heavy approach of thrash metal from the ‘90s - in a modern style. To me, this is the album that I think will be exciting to both of our older AND newer fans. I’m excited, and ready to have some fun on stage, while we spread the ‘Delirium’ to the people."
Ryan Blake Folden (drums) adds:
"For me, I am truly excited to get on the road and play some new material. This is the first record I got to be a part of with the band and I can’t wait to finally see people reactions to songs that I have been really excited about for over a year now. Not to mention, I’ll finally be expressing myself on stage in a way that I haven't been able to do in some time, having up until this point performed music that predated my arrival to the band. With the manifestation of the theme, costumes and artwork, along with the music, the band creatively and passionately poured itself into making this something special."
