In 2018, Mudd Flux stirred the souls of Mid-America with their debut EP release, MDFX, featuring four tracks including the singles All I Am (Am I) and Beyond Our Horizon. Each track is encompassed by the thunderous, articulate roar of the instruments opening an atmospheric space for soaring, heart-stopping vocals. Written and produced by the group itself, the EP personifies their experiences and talent as a whole, as well as defining an unprecedented tone to forge ahead of the mainstream.
Extensive touring during the “Accelerate From High” tour, introduced the group to multiple cities, diverse audiences and annual festivals. Many of the performances positioned Mudd Flux in support of national acts such as Davey Suicide, Crazytown, Locust Grove, Sons Of Texas and Aranda. By mid-year, their festival performances included Rocklahoma, Twister Fest, Rock the River, Put Up or Shut Up Metal Fest II, SuSpence Fest and the Midwest Legacy Rally.
Moving into 2019, Mudd Flux are just as relentless with their commitment to releasing their first full album via Sliptrick Records, accompanied by continuous touring and festival performances at SXSW and Rocklahoma. The group also have performances as support for the likes of Eve to Adam, UADA and Saxon.

Metal band Need All Exchange are pleased to release a preview of their upcoming video for the song "Crystal Clarity". The video is set to be released on June 22nd 2019.
The band commented:- "We're super excited to release this preview of Crystal Clarity. Look for the full video to release mid-month.!"
Watch the preview here: http://glaciallymusical.blogspot.com/2019/05/teaser-video-crystal-clarity-by-need.html
Need All Exchange are a modern metal band from Brownsville, Texas, fusing all manner of sounds in a sharply honed sonic assault. In the sweltering summer of 2012 creative energies aligned. From the void a mortally wounded dragon re-emerged from lifelessness. A follower of the sacred Dharma sought to find a middle path, somewhere between progressive complexity and raw simple tones. From the roots of the earth came an inspired rhythm section, defined by a colourful drummer infused with a legendary spirit, wreaking his own brand of ‘Pandamonium.’
These Texans aren’t your traditional metal band. In fact, their vision is much greater than that of even being just a metal band. They seek to meld a diverse pallet of musical and artistic inspirations. Need All Exchange fuse the influences of everyone from Death to Faith No More, by way of Sepultura and Pantera. Their unique origin story, especially with regards to their bassist Muelaquin, only serves to propel them forward in their native Rio Grande Valley scene. You see, Muelaquin is probably the most popular member of the band. However, he chooses to manifest himself only in the form of a panda mannequin when joining the band onstage.
Now, Need All Exchange are seeking to expand beyond their local circuit, where they have opened for acts like Spite, and Sons of Texas. These metal warriors are boldly embracing new frontiers. A project defined by re-awakening of creative passions, the band have doubled down on their goals. Coming off of 2017’s El Proximo Viaje EP, the band is preparing for their next release, one that promises to be their strongest yet. Always a group to shy from norms, Need All Exchange are sworn to stray from the path.
Chicago based Blackened Death Thrashers Beyond Deth have signed a two year deal with Vargheist Records (USA). Vargheist will be re-releasing Beyond Deth's first album "The Age Of Darkness" in July of 2019 as well as their sophomore effort in 2020. Vargheist already has a unique roster that seems to be growing quite quickly and Beyond Deth's multi genre traits should be a solid fit.
Global Music Award-winning nomadic folk metal group Tengger Cavalry - created and led by frontman and creator Nature G - are one of the most unique and innovative acts in modern music. To date, the band has earned international praise and attention from the likes of Billboard, CNN, The Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal and countless others.
As an artist who came to America with the sole purpose of cultivating his art and who ultimately found rapid success in the metal underground, Nature was blind-sided by a contractual dispute in 2017, that in his eyes, put all of his hard work to survive as an artist trying to "make it" in a new country in jeopardy. Nature G recently admitted publicly via his social media that in December of that year, he almost took his own life in a suicide attempt - the pressure became too much. After surviving this attempt, Nature immediately realized that he couldn't give up on his life, or his art, no matter what stood in his way.
Today, Kerrang! shared a very personal, exclusive interview with Nature G regarding his struggles with mental health and retaining his artistic freedoms. In conjunction with this interview, Nature explains that his consistent artistic approach of melding traditional folk elements of his nomadic culture with modern heavy metal has led him to return to his homeland of China multiple times since 2017 - each time aiding the healing process.
Read the exclusive interview here, and check out a new music video for the track "My Sky", filmed during one of his recent visits to his homeland, in which Nature learned even more about his nomadic roots and the true origins of some of today's most popular Mongolian tales: https://www.kerrang.com/features/how-a-suicide-attempt-helped-tengger-cavalrys-frontman-rediscover-his-musical-dreams/
Nature G says:-
"It has been almost two years since the incident. I witness many people struggling with very similar situations all the time. Hopefully by talking about it, we can bring more light to the issue and people will no longer feel alone when it comes to dealing with it."
Tengger Cavalry will release their new album, Northern Memory, on May 10, 2019. The album can be pre-ordered here.
The band recently announced four festival performances in Europe and North America as well - see below for a full listing and learn more via www.facebook.com/pg/tengger0cavalry/events.

Tengger Cavalry ("the army of the sky god" in Mongolian) blends the nomadic musical traditions, instrumentation and warrior spirit of Central Asia with the aggression and power of heavy metal. The group was founded by Nature "G" Ganganbaigal, who sings using the ancient Mongolian tradition of Khoomei (more commonly known as throat-singing) and plays multiple native instruments, including the Morin Khuur (an ancient fiddle), the Tovshuur (a Mongolian guitar) and the Mongolian flute.
Following Nature G's relocation to America five years ago, Tengger Cavalry has successfully completed several tours and two sold out performances at New York City's prestigious Carnegie Hall.
In the studio, meanwhile, the group's output has been prodigious - since forming in 2010, they've released six full-length albums, two EPs and numerous singles, including unique cover interpretations of metal classics. In January, Megadeth's Dave Mustaine retweeted the group's cover of "Symphony of Destruction," while the previous month, the official Motörhead Facebook page reposted their rendition of "Fight."
Californian Prog / Tech-Death trio Inanimate Existence premiere third single "Desert" at The Circle Pit
California-based Progressive / Technical Death Metal trio Inanimate Existence recently announced their upcoming fifth full-length album, 'Clockwork'. The album is set for release on May 10th via The Artisan Era. It is the follow up to the group's highly praised fourth album, Underneath a Melting Sky, which was released in 2017. Active since 2011, the band has yet to slow down in between regular extended touring on a near yearly basis and with four well-received albums released to date already.
Continuing the group's evolution found on 2017's Underneath a Melting Sky, Clockwork delves ever deeper into cerebral progressive death metal depths while buoyed by the group's established penchant for merciless full-throttle brutality and frenetic tech-death driven terrain. The stunning cover artwork for Clockwork was created by Justin Abraham (Equipoise, Oubliette, A Loathing Requiem, Aepoch) and the recording was handled by both the band itself and with usual collaborator Zack Ohren (Fallujah, Continuum, Alterbeast) who mixed and mastered Clockwork at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California.
Inanimate Existence partnered with The Circle Pit today to premiere the album's third single, "Desert". Today's premiere of "Desert" doubles as a music video as well.

Tennessee groove metallers I Am The Law have just released their new single "Dance of the Southern Witch" via Alternative Control. The track is taken from their upcoming EP of the same name which will be released this spring.
Listen to the track here: http://www.alternativecontrolct.com/music/altctrltoob-video-premiere-i-am-the-laws-dance-of-the-southern-witch/#.XLD7T-hKjIU
“You know what? F@$% it! We’ll just do it ourselves.” That’s the attitude I Am The Law takes with its approach to its own brand of Southern Metal. Embodying the self-reliant spirit of the American South, these four rowdy boys from Nashville groove and shred. Drawing from influences such as Pantera, Lamb Of God, Rob Zombie, The Showdown, He is Legend, and Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, the band created a distinct, aggressive sound with 2015’s EP Blackwater Gospel. With sophomore offering Hymn Of the Vulture (originally put out in 2017 and re-released fall 2018), I Am The Law refined its voice and sound, becoming more mature and even more aggressive with each track.
The band has been nominated for the 2016/17 and now 2018 NIMA Awards for Best Hard Rock/Metal Band. They have also opened up for more well known and established acts such as Superjoint, Crowbar, Doyle, The Obsessed, Battle Cross, Enterprise Earth, Child Bite, and Mobile Deathcamp.
Regrettably, Ozzy Osbourne has postponed all of his 2019 tour dates as he recovers from an injury sustained while dealing with a recent bout of pneumonia. Osbourne fell at his Los Angeles home, aggravating years-old injuries (from his 2003 ATV accident) that required surgery last month. Due to the postponement of Ozzy’s tour, Ozzy Osbourne will no longer be performing at this year’s Rocklahoma. Details about the festival’s Saturday, May 25th line-up will be announced as soon as they are finalized.
Ozzy Osbourne released the following statement earlier this morning:-
“I can’t believe I have to reschedule more tour dates. Words cannot express how frustrated, angry and depressed I am not to be able to tour right now. I’m grateful for the love and support I’m getting from my family, my band, friends and fans, it’s really what’s keeping me going. Just know that I am getting better every day…I will fully recover…I will finish my tour…I will be back!”
Mike DuCharme, Festival Producer and Talent Buyer for Rocklahoma says:-
“While there is no replacement for Ozzy yet, we are working diligently to find a new headliner and will update our fans as soon as we can. We wish Ozzy a speedy recovery, and hope to see him on the Rocklahoma stage in the future.”
Rocklahoma will take place May 24-May 26 at Pryor Creek Music Festival Grounds in Pryor, Oklahoma, just outside Tulsa. For more information on Rocklahoma, visit: https://rocklahoma.com
Alternative Metal artists Fate Destroyed release the lyric video for their new song Inside.
After the success of Fate DeStroyed's video We Fall, they have returned with their follow up lyric video Inside. The song is about the veil we pull over our eyes to justify chasing after the things which we think will make us happy but will inevitably destroy us. Inside exposes our masochistic pursuit of happiness.
The lyric video for Inside was designed by David Letelier and produced by Brandon Wolfe. Inside is out now and can be seen by clicking the link below.
Fate DeStroyed is a Los Angeles based metal band, formed by front woman Franccesca De Struct in 2016.
Currently breaking ground with their fierce new take on the metal status quo, Fate DeStroyed combines visceral guitars and driving synths to leverage the gap between hard hitting 90's industrial and modern heavy metal. While they draw influence from bands such as Trivium, Deftones and Nine Inch Nails, the unexpected audio assault and raw emotion from front woman Franccesca DeStruct sets them apart from the pack.
2018 served as a turning point for the group having solidified their line up with Jonni Laww , joined on Guitars, with Nathan YoungBlood (Green Jelly/Ex-Dirty Machine) on Bass, and Ben Levi of Matriarchs on Drums.
In May 2018 the band released the music video to their first single “Break Free” produced by Carlton Bost of Orgy.
Their follow up track “We Fall” was released in on October and is currently on heavy rotation on most digital radio platforms.
Collectively Garnering over 250,000 Streams on Spotify Alone.
