This Friday the 13th of September, Twitching Tongues take their brooding metal-tinged, rocked-out hardcore to the North American masses on the brutal month-long On Tour There Is No Law 2013.
Touring in support of their triumphant second LP, "In Love There Is No Law", released late in August via Closed Casket Activities, the new North American trek follows the band's extensive tour of Europe with Harm's Way this Summer, and will feature support from Downpresser and Angel Du$t on all shows and Stigmata and Turnstile on select dates. Along the way, Twitching Tongues will take part in the fourth annual Reading, Pennsylvania-based East Coast Tsunami Fest with Hatebreed, E.Town Concrete, Terror, Breakdown, Cro-Mags, Shadows Fall, One Life Crew, Strife and countless more through the last weekend of the month. Fans can stream "In Love There Is No Law" at Lambgoat here and watch the video for the title track to the album right here. Recorded, produced and mixed by guitarist Taylor Young at The Pit, then mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, Twitching Tongues delivers nine despair-ridden and hate-fueled anthems all cleverly built upon the band's unique and dominating vocal approach infusing both clean and callous styles amidst vicious gang chants. Orders for the CD and LP versions of the album and other merchandise are available here. German Hardcore mob A Traitor Like Judas have announced the release of their new album "Guerilla Heart" which is scheduled for a release date of 26th August through Redfield Records.
The band present a mighty, catchy record with their new full length release, which has its feet deeply rooted in the Hardcore scene. With real anthems like ‘What Counts’ or ‘One Way Ticket’, the album is an inspiringly positive call to arms, which urges the listener to change their situation for the better. The new album is an appeal to humanity – to look independently at a situation or event, and to make choices that impact the world in a positive way: “We are no radical activists but we want to see change. We are one of the new generations who are actively able to make a contribution,” says bass-player Tillman Listek. He continues “being in direct contact with a completely new and younger generation has influenced the band in expressing a positive vision to today’s youth.” Check out the video for the first new track ‘What Counts’ here www.facebook.com/atraitorlikejudas www.redfield-records.de The curtain has closed on Your Demise as the Southern Englishmen are sad to announce that their time as a band will come to an end in March 2014, following a series of farewell performances (details of which will be announced in the near future).
The English quintet have issued a video message to their fans and supporters regarding the split, which can be viewed here: http://youtu.be/o2YAaiM-Knw Your Demise have also announced that in light of this larger decision and other circumstances beyond their control, they will no longer be able to perform their scheduled tour dates in Mexico, North America and Canada, which were set to begin in mid May: “We are truly very sorry to be letting our fans over the Atlantic down,” say the band of the tour cancellation. “It is with heavy hearts that we have found ourselves having to make the decision to pull out of the shows in Mexico, USA and Canada. Trust us, we are not a band that has ever made a habit of canceling shows, let alone tours, so we have not made this decision lightly. We feel terrible for the disappointment this news will cause our fans in those countries, and we would like to take this opportunity to apologise to all of our transatlantic supporters, the show promoters, our stateside team and, of course, Rotting Out and Expire who both were set to join us on the dates. On a more positive note, Rotting Out will still be doing the West Coast portion of the dates around Rainfest, taking over from us as headliner. Stay tuned for another announcement with the specifics of this very soon." “My address is in my suitcase...” : Your Demise, 2006 - 2014 Your Demise originally formed in St Albans in 2006 as a Suicidal Tendencies covers band, and underwent a whopping 13 personnel changes before finally settling on a solid lineup in 2009. This definitive incarnation of the band - vocalist Ed McRae, guitarists Stuart Paice and Daniel ‘Ozzy Porkchop’ Osborne, bassist Jimmy Sampson and drummer James Tailby - proceeded to release two acclaimed full lengths (2010’s ‘The Kids We Used To Be...’ and 2012’s ‘The Golden Age’) and two E.Ps (2012’s ‘Three For Free’ and 2013’s ‘Cold Chillin’), alongside setting up their home away from home on the road, touring their high energy, oft unpredictable live show all around the globe on many occasions. From backroom bars in Bangkok, Thailand to the LockUp Stage at Reading and Leeds Festival, and from Californian club shows to Australia’s prestigious Soundwave Tour, Your Demise brought their hard hitting tunes and good time spirit with them wherever they went. But, all good things come to an end, and as the band have themselves revealed in today’s video statement, they want to end their beloved band of brothers with a bang, and on their own terms. Specifics of the band’s farewell performances, which will take place between October 2013 and March 2014, are yet to be revealed, but for the immediate future they will still perform all currently scheduled European festival and club dates. Plans are also afoot for a 2014 DVD release documenting the band’s career and their forthcoming farewell touring. https://www.facebook.com/yourdemise/info Kent Hardcore Punk mob Circle of Rage have finally unveiled their music video to 'Fear does not exist in this dojo', the Hardcore Punk band have been riffing away for a couple of years now, ever since 2008 the politically influenced group have once again proved where British Hardcore Punk nowadays resides.
