Transcend Music is pleased to announce the signing of fresh faced young rockers from Southend, Crash Mansion!
The lads spent their early teenage years crammed in a hot, sweaty rehearsal room jamming out Avenged Sevenfold, Guns n’ Roses and My Chemical Romance covers, while formulating plans for their own take on the genre. The result is a heady mix of natural talent, raw energy, enthusiasm and a fistful of super catchy infectious rock n' roll tunes with stadium bothering potential! They recorded their debut EP in 2012 with Martyn ‘Ginge’ Ford at the renowned Nott-in Pill Studios (home to Slipknot, Bullet For My Valentine, Trivium etc) and quickly racked up shows with LA Guns, Fearless Vampire Killers and The Dead Lay Waiting, proving to be every bit as potent on stage as the recordings promised. Rob Ferguson of Transcend Music said of the signing "I've had my eye on Crash Mansion for a couple of years watching them develop and offering advice where appropriate. They are a really exciting young band who are not only passionate and hungry for success but genuinely possess all the weapons in their armoury to achieve great things. I'm really looking forward to being part of that journey." Guitarist Sam Scarlett from Crash Mansion commented "We are all buzzing about working with Rob and the rest of the team at Transcend Music, we feel it's the right home for us, it's great to see how they bring fresh talent through and help bands grow. We're honoured to be sitting on a roster with cool bands like Heights, IDivide, Malefice, Sacred Mother Tongue and The Dirty Youth etc." The band has signed to Transcend Music for management and release, with a first single and video planned for summer 2013. In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for Sam, Kidd, Pagey, Dan and Doogs as they take their explosive live show on the road in the UK and Europe. http://www.crashmansion.co.uk http://www.facebook.com/crashmansionuk http://www.twitter.com/crash_mansion https://soundcloud.com/crashmansionuk/your-prison

Their new album “And Yet” will be released on the 27th of August.
Out of the underbelly of the London scene Cold In Berlin carved a dark and isolated place of their own; their 2010 debut album ‘Give Me Walls’ was a frenetic and twisted Goth infused punk monster littered with a jagged sense frustration led by the formidable front-woman Maya. Moving forward to 2012 and fed on a diet of Black Sabbath, Shellac, Electric Wizard and Swans, their follow-up record ‘And Yet…’ erupts with wolf howls and banshee screeches. The band tear apart their Doom, Stoner, Goth and Cinematic influences showcasing the electrifying vocal range of vocalist and lyricist Maya as she broods, purrs and screams at the state of the world and her place in it. They have already blown away stages of festivals across the UK and Europe and have been embraced by the Goth, Punk and Rock scenes as well as supporting bands as diverse as Diary of Dreams, Specimen, Mater Susperia Vision. Still skint, heartbroken and living on the fringes of society and acceptance, it is clear that alternative cultures romantic vision of DIY purity is no longer an option. Live Dates Sunday 26th August – Destroy the Silence Festival, Underworld, London w/ Inkubus Sukkubus + Red Lorry Yellow Lorry Thursday 20th December – Six D.O.G.S. Athens (Greece) Friday 21st December – 8 Ball Club, Thessaloniki (Greece) Tour of Russia and Ukraine to be confirmed |
