Papa Roach have given fans a taste of their forthcoming ninth album with a video for their new single ‘Help’.  The track dropped earlier today, Friday 15th February and is available across all digital streaming platforms via Eleven Seven Music. The new album is expected to be released in May.

“Help” was produced by Nicholas “Ras” Furlong and Colin Brittian, who grew up listening to Papa Roach and inspired the band to revisit some of their early influences. “We really followed our instincts and tried something unproven,” explains Furlong. “We ended up morphing the band’s best ‘old school’ traits into a courageous and more adventurous version of Papa Roach in the 21st Century.” Lyrically the new offering, touches on the personal, yet relatable, theme that surrounds the universal struggle of surviving mental health issues.
 
Papa Roach teased fans late last year with the viral release of “Crooked Teeth” (LISTEN HERE), which is nearing 2M streams on Spotify. Featuring one of the album’s more unorthodox moments—the 808 bass drop into a metal breakdown, “Crooked Teeth” hit the online community, exciting fans all over the world who are expecting an album as dynamic as their classics INFEST and Getting Away with Murder.

InVogue Records recording artists Courage My Love have today launched “Stereo” as the first single from their forthcoming full-length debut album. The track is available at all digital music providers as well at all streaming services here.

Produced by David Bendeth (Paramore, Of Mice and Men, Papa Roach), “Stereo” introduces a new arsenal of sounds for the Kitchener, Ontario-based trio who have made a name for themselves and built a strong following on a number of tours across North America and Europe.

“We didn’t want to be stuck underneath a female-fronted rock band ceiling,” admits guitarist / singer Mercedes Arn-Horn. “We wanted to reach beyond that constraint and see where it would take us.”
During the recording of Synesthesia, Arn-Horn’s twin sister, drummer / singer Phoenix taught herself synth programming which helped shaped the sound of the new album and gave the band a new attitude when it can to songwriting.

“We lost our ego of wanting to show off,” says Phoenix. “Now, when we write, its more about the song and what it needs. We try to make songs instead of flashy parts.”

Courage My Love were first discovered at a 2010 battle of the Bands in Stratford Ontario. The band’s independently produced video for the song “Bridges” amassed over 2 million views and the band discovered that director Kevin Smith (Silent Bob) was among the many fans that had discovered their music. The band signed with Warner Music Canada in 2011 and in 2012 Alternative Press Magazine pegged them as one of the bands to watch that year. In 2014 The band’s first two EPs, For Now and Becoming, earned them a 2014 JUNO Awards nomination for Breakthrough Group of the Year and later that summer Courage My Love joined the vans Warped Tour across North America.

Emma Blackery has confirmed that her new single will be Let Me Be. The single, taken from her Sucks To Be You 3 track EP, is out now and available to buy on iTunes and stream on Spotify. Entirely self-funded and independently released, Emma’s Sucks To Be You EP was produced by Jason Perry (McFly, Don Broco) and mixed by Jeremy Wheatley (Enter Shikari). The lead single of the same name went straight to #2 on the iTunes Rock chart on release and the video has picked up almost 1 million views.

The release comes ahead of Emma’s first headline tour and all dates sold out in minutes leading her to upgrade the venues. The tour kicks off in London on the 23rd October and culminates at the 02 Academy2 in Birmingham on the 26th October. Emma also headlines the Summer In The City show at London’s Excel Centre in August. Earlier in the year, she supported Busted on their UK arena tour.
