We’re so caught up in black, white and the infinite shades of grey we forget that we live in a world of colour - those we can see and then even deeper, beyond and between." says frontman Trenton Woodley. In anticipation of the release, the band has today unveiled a brand new video for 'Colourblind' in association with Billboard magazine.

After singing for Stevie Wonder’s bassist, Truebelles singer forms own energetic girl band8/2/2016 After having been able to gain experience singing with Stevie Wonder’s musical director and bass player, Nate Watts, and doing backing vocals for Coree Richards of Damage, lead singer Grace has now started her own musical project with friends Talullah and Lorena. With the help of producers Steve Snead and Mat Condon, who has previously played keyboard in Katie Melua’s band, the newcomers comprise remarkable vocal skills with the spirit of rebellious girl power. Their funky debut single ‘If Your Heart Is There’ is a melodic bubble gum explosion that creates the kind of buzz that makes you get out of bed in the morning. The track features rapper XYM who is known for having played alongside Colin Farrell in the film London Boulevard. The London based group combines their music with a world view that sees women stepping out of a narrowly defined image which reduces them to merely being pretty, as Grace puts it: “Sometimes people like to see a woman with balls. The masculine side of women is not so often portrayed in the media. Annie Lennox, Kate Bush, Madonna have done it. It makes pop art more interesting.” Grace started singing at the age of seven. She used to be in a girl gang in high school and kept skipping classes to make videos as part of a production company she created with two of her friends in which they “used to run around screaming creating Blair Witch Project type scream flicks.” She says: “They used to call us the Kill Twins.” The Truebelles are a band, an art collective and a feminist statement about the differences between men and women when it comes to communication – which, ideally, they’d like to overcome with their work. Difficulties of communication between the two sexes has been part of the story of how ‘If Your Heart Is There’ and the entire project, in fact, has come to life. The narrative of their song writing is specifically pro-female and committed to the idea of presenting women as fun and exciting. When Grace first moved to London and met producer Steve she initially refused to work with him because she “thought he was a weirdo”. It took another two years to get her in the studio to record the track. Having been able to overcome their very own communication problems, The Truebelles are now ready to revive modern feminist pop with their debut single taken from the upcoming album ‘Truebelles Coming’. The single ‘If Your Heart Is There’ is out on 12th February 2016. https://www.facebook.com/The-Truebelles-920344594701415/ https://twitter.com/ttruebelles http://thetruebelles.com/ “CeaseTone knocked our socks off, combining folk, post-rock, and prog rock. The last song exploded in the most glamorous way." - Reykjavik on Stage The MuseBox recently announced the release of 'Sight of Your Life,' the new single from Iceland’s hottest new export, electro indie rockers CeaseTone. CeaseTone will make their SXSW debut this March in Austin, TX. With JaJaJaMusic.com calling their debut single 'Full Circle' “an opening salvo of tightly wound dark-wave pop,” CeaseTone overcame 150 bands to win the 2015 All Tomorrow’s Parties Unsigned Talent Competition and enjoyed watching “Full Circle” head to #17 of Iceland’s top music chart. CeaseTone will accompany Icelandic folkster Axel Flovent on a March tour of the U.S. surrounding their SXSW appearance. According to Right Cord Music, CeaseTone are an enthralling talent worthy of comparisons to Iceland’s most prominent acts: "Somehow Icelandic music never disappoints, and its latest exports, CeaseTone, are no different. Their brand of electro indie rock does what we demand of all our featured artists: It stops us in our tracks and makes us want to listen again and again." CeaseTone will be performing several showcases at SXSW and are available for pre-festival interviews. "A band whose name will soon be up in lights, whether they like it or not” - NME “This Cambridge quartet specialise in anthems designed to fill arenas, but with a very pointed caveat that what they do remains several proud steps away from well-worn mainstream rock” - The Guardian “Lonely The Brave could be the biggest band on the planet. Fact.” - Rock Sound “Fit to bursting with anthems that will keep them in festival slots for years to come” Mojo “Lonely The Brave are simply phenomenal.” Kerrang! Following its premiere as Rockest Record on Dan P Carter’s Radio 1 Rock Show last night, Lonely The Brave today announce the release of “Black Mire”. Marking the band’s first new material since the critically acclaimed debut album “The Day’s War” and its subsequent “Victory Edition” reissue last year, “Black Mire” is also the first chance for fans to hear their work with producer Ross Orton (M.I.A., Drenge, Arctic Monkeys). The result is an expansive, atmospheric introduction to their new sound. Retaining the strong sense of melody and lyricism that has won them such a dedicated fan base already, “Black Mire” also feels like a natural leap forward musically, from a band hitting their stride and full of confidence after nearly two years in the spotlight. The accompanying AV video, directed by Jordan Martin, features the band’s front-man David Jakes in a rare performance direct to camera. Lonely The Brave have spent much of these last two years touring internationally and playing with the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Deftones, Neil Young, Marmozets and Wolf Alice, as well as putting in unforgettable festival performances at the likes of Glastonbury, Download and, most recently, the main stage at Reading & Leeds. The band will put out their highly anticipated second album before the summer. Further details will be announced soon.
