Click here to watch it now. The single was co-written by Sia and Greg Kurstin, and produced by Greg Kurstin. The video for "The Greatest" was co-directed by Sia and Daniel Askill, with choreography by Ryan Heffington and starring dancer Maddie Ziegler, the dream team who have collaborated on most of Sia's internet breaking smash videos including "Chandelier," "Elastic Heart," and "Cheap Thrills." The release of "The Greatest" follows on the heels of Sia dominating the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 4 consecutive weeks at #1 with her smash hit "Cheap Thrills." This chart position also marks Sia's first ever Top 5 as a solo artist on the Billboard HOT 100 Chart and the song has dominated the global radio and streaming charts for most of this summer. Sia will soon be embarking on her "Nostalgic For The Present US Tour" accompanied by dancer / muse / star of her videos Maddie Ziegler on all North American dates. The 22 city tour, promoted exclusively by Live Nation, kicks off on Sept. 29 in Seattle, WA's KeyArena, with special guest Miguel, and AlunaGeorge – including stops at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl, Chicago's United Center and Atlanta's Philips Arena. Since its announcement, the tour has been lauded as one of the hottest tickets for the fall with Rolling Stone saying it "promises to recreate some of the stunning visuals and choreography that the singer usually packs into her music videos and unique live performances" and Bustle raved it's "sure to be epic." Sia released her new album "This Is Acting" (Monkey Puzzle Records/RCA Records) earlier this year to much critical acclaim. The New Yorker described it as "the Platonic ideal of a modern pop album," with rave reviews across the board from The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, The Fader, and many more. The album debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 Chart, peaked at #1 on the ITunes chart in over 50 countries, and charted Top 10 in 8 countries worldwide, including #1 in her native Australia and #3 in the UK. The track is available to listen to HERE. Moving glacially between ethereal techno pop and speaker-shattering rave breakdowns, ‘Fleece’ is another fascinating insight into the breathtaking sonic and emotional palette on Amnesty (I). In addition, Crystal Castles have announced a special in-store performance at Rough Trade East in London on Tuesday, August 23rd. This comes ahead of the band playing the BBC Radio 1/NME Stage at Reading & Leeds Festivals later this month, before continuing to further European and North American headline and festival tour dates, with further UK shows to be announced soon. Known for their chaotic live shows and visceral, melancholic home-made productions, Crystal Castles released a trilogy of critically acclaimed albums between 2008-2013. Their last album III was the Tumblr and Hype Machine album of the year for 2013, and NME’s #4 album of the year. In 2015 they released the stand-alone tracks ‘Frail’ and ‘Deicide’, with new member Edith Frances. Across its 11 tracks, Amnesty (I) explores the sonic and atmospheric range that we have learned to expect from a Crystal Castles record. From gothic electronic paeans to distorted digital raves, from cinematic synth and noise crescendos to hip hop and trap infused synth pop, it is uniformly compelling, uncompromising and anchored in feeling. Amnesty (I) is out now.
