Indie buzz band Pvris have released “You and I,” the companion video for their brand-new single. The clip, which can be seen HERE, was shot in Sacramento with director Raul Gonzo. The track premiered on the Radio 1 Rock show last night & had a subsequent play on Radio 1 today. “You and I” is the latest in a flurry of video releases from the trio (Lynn Gunn, Alex Babinski, Brian MacDonald), following the February 10th premiere of “Smoke,” the February 12th debut of “Ghosts/Let Them In”, and the February 16th posting of “Eyelids.” All four videos will be featured in the deluxe version of the band’s debut album, White Noise (Rise). Available on iTunes here this new double-disc set includes a DVD with all of the band’s videos along with a CD that has full and unplugged versions of “You and I,” along with fan favorites like “St. Patrick” (which has over 6.6 million Spotify streams), “Holy,” (over 4 million streams), “My House” (which has racked up over 7 million streams), “Fire” (a BBC Radio 1 “Track of the Day”) and another new track titled “Empty” (both new songs were recorded with White Noise producer Blake Harnage). The band, who recently made their network television debut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” is hitting the road with Fall Out Boy and Awolnation for an arena tour that kicks off this Friday in the USA and runs until 26th March. A near-sold-out European headlining tour will follow. alongside a sold out UK run. Pvris have spent the past year and a half playing to packed-house crowds around the world, stealing the show on last summer’s Warped Tour (founder Kevin Lyman called them the tour’s breakout act) before joining the likes of Mumford & Sons, Kendrick Lamar and Deadmau5 on the Reading and Leeds festivals. This June they’ll join Florence & The Machine, Ellie Goulding and Disclosure on the Firefly Music Festival. Led by 21-year-old vocalist Lynn Gunn, who the Huffington Post described as “a force that cannot be denied,” Pvris hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists Chart and No. 1 on their Trending 140 Chart. MTV.com lauded the group by writing, “Get acquainted with the mysteriously awesome Pvris before they become the biggest thing in rock. For fans of The Neighbourhood and Chvrches, Pvris are the best thing since sliced bread” and Alternative Press just spotlighted the band with a cover story. To date, the Boston-based group has over 12 million total YouTube views and 15,548,164 total streams in the US alone. All of which explains why Buzzfeed called the trio an “Artist You Should Be Listening To Right Now.” The track-listing for the "White Noise Deluxe" CD / DVD is as follows: DISC 1 (CD) You and I Empty Smoke St. Patrick My House Holy White Noise Fire Eyelids Mirrors Ghosts Let Them In You and I (Stripped) DISC 2 (DVD) You and I Smoke/Mirrors St. Patrick My House Holy White Noise Fire Eyelids Ghosts/Let Them In PVRIS HEADLINE SHOWS: 1st April Concorde Brighton SOLD OUT 2nd April NORWICH UEA SOLD OUT 3rd April Riverside Newcastle SOLD OUT 4th April GLASGOW ABC SOLD OUT 6th April MANCHESTER ACADEMY SOLD OUT 7th April O2 FORUM, LONDON SOLD OUT 8th April CARDIFF GREAT HALL SOLD OUT 9th April BIRMINGHAM O2 INSTITUTE SOLD OUT

“An intriguing new talent unafraid to manipulate genre barriers… Rosie Lowe’s songs draw on her varied musical background to create moments of unnerving beauty.” – The Guardian
“One of the most arresting debuts of the year… what a singer, what a find.” – The Sunday Times “These deliciously textured songs have depth, mystery and allure to spare.” - The Daily Mirror “Thick with emotion and heavy with soul, this classy lament makes for a beguiling solo debut.” - NME With a succession of critically adored tracks to her name, the London-based, Devon-born musician Rosie Lowe has emerged as one of the most hotly tipped artists around. Now Lowe is set to captivate her biggest audience to date with the February 19th release of her eagerly anticipated debut album ‘Control’. Released on Paul Epworth’s Wolf Tone label via Polydor, ‘Control’ demonstrates exactly why pioneering artists including Little Simz, The Invisible, Kwabs, Ady Suleiman, Ghostpoet and respected taste-maker Gilles Peterson have all recognized and supported her. It’s an album that breaks loose from the confinement of expected genres - you’ll hear echoes of James Blake, The Weeknd, Laura Mvula and The xx in her original synth-soul soundscapes - and Lowe’s personality is also a pivotal part of the experience. An emerging feminist icon, ‘Control’ finds Lowe baring her soul as she explores a wealth of personal issues with devastating honesty. 'Who's That Girl' addresses the matter of some so-called friends who didn't help while she was hospitalized, and album track 'Nicole' is a plea for Rosie's best friend to leave a bad relationship. The brutal realities of love and relationships are also a recurring theme. Recent single ‘Worry About Us’ tackles the complexities of trying to retain a relationship by someone who is plagued by insecurity; ‘I’ll Be Gone’ is an emotional plea to partner to remind her not to flee when the inevitably challenging times emerge; and ‘So Human’ underlines an acceptance that negative emotions are a vital part of the human experience. Yet as articulate and opinionated as Lowe is, she possesses a warmth and a sharp-wit that immediately allows strangers to feel like old pals Produced by Lowe with Dave Okumu (Jessie Ware, Paloma Faith, Kwabs, The Invisible). Previous singles ‘Right Thing’, ‘Who’s That Girl?’ and ‘Worry About Us’ all feature alongside a wealth of new material. The album will be further previewed by the new single ‘Woman’ which is defining statement of the powers of modern femininity: “I find myself obsessing about imperfections that only I can see / And I know it’s such a waste but the pressure is getting to me,” she states, before declaring:“Why should my intellect be judged by perceptions of what I should be?” ‘Control’ will be available on digital, CD and 12” formats, with pre-orders now available from www.rosielowe.com, iTunes and Amazon. All pre-orders will be rewarded with ‘Woman, Right Thing, Who’s That Girl & Worry About us’ provided as instant grat tracks. Rosie Lowe grew up in south Devon as the youngest of six siblings. Their father, an accomplished jazz saxophonist, encouraged them to follow creative interests and together they bonded over a shared love of music. For Rosie, a childhood love of jazz set her on a path that would dictate her future. "There's never been anything else that I've wanted to do," she asserts. "Music wasn't an option, it was a necessity." She soon became enamoured with the leading lights of the female singer-songwriter tradition – Carole King, Erykah Badu and Joni Mitchell to name but a few. She learnt their songs then broke them apart. She analysed their lyrics. She fell in love with the art of songwriting. It wasn't until she studied popular music at Goldsmiths, however, that she found her own sound. The breakthrough came when she ditched her instruments and focused on teaching herself production and recording techniques. She was soon approached by management and signed to Domino Publishing. London indie label 37 Adventures soon jumped on board too, and released her critically-adored, four-track debut EP 'Right Thing'. Earlier this year, Rosie Lowe played a beguiling set within the beautiful surroundings of the St. Pancras Old Church. London In Stereo described it as “an incredibly atmospheric and enchanting performance… Lowe stands as a preacher in the centre of the stage, demanding the attention of every eye in the room.” She recently announced her full debut tour, scheduled as below, which will coincide with the release of the ‘Control’ album: February 18th – Glasgow, Broadcast 19th – Manchester, Soup Kitchen 20th – Leeds, Headrow House 24th – Brighton, The Hope and Ruin 25th – London, Oslo 26th – Bristol, Louisiana http://rosielowe.com/ https://www.facebook.com/rosielowemusic https://twitter.com/rosielowemusic https://www.youtube.com/user/RosieLoweVEVO Last night the very popular singer songwriter Taylor Swift premiered her new music video for ‘Out of the Woods’ during Dick Clark's "New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest" on ABC in the USA The video was directed by Joseph Kahn and was written and produced by Taylor Swift herself alongside Jack Antonoff. This becomes the sixth music video to be taken from Taylor's Grammy nominated "Album Of The Year" '1989' (for those who don't know, this is her birth year). The video follows ‘Shake It Off’, ‘Blank Space’, ‘Style’, ‘Bad Blood’ and ‘Wildest Dreams’. Check out the video below. '1989' has sold over 9.2 million copies worldwide to date, and has been certified triple platinum in the UK where it debuted at #1 on the official albums chart upon it's release and was the top selling album by an international artist in both 2014 and 2015. Taylor Swift recently released "The 1989 World Tour LIVE" via Apple Music after wrapping up her critically acclaimed 'The 1989 World Tour' which encompassed sold out stadium and arena shows across eight countries and four continents. https://www.facebook.com/TaylorSwift Rational Youth (most famous for their best-selling 1982 album "Cold War Night Life") and Psyche ( fronted by Canadian Darrin Huss and now based in Germany have been releasing classic synthpop records for 30 years), have both teamed up to cover AC/DC's 'Thunderstruck' and release it on limited 7" vinyl through Artoffact Records. Rational Youth recently reunited for shows in Canada, Sweden, and Norway, as well as an upcoming tour in Germany and Poland. Psyche has released 11 studio albums and many other live, remix, and rarities collections on labels such as Artoffact, SPV, Metropolis, and New Rose. The two artists have collaborated in the past, most recently touring together in Sweden, where they played "Thunderstruck" as part of their encore. The artists decided to record the cover, and it will be released on November 25th on three different 7" vinyl colors. The vinyl colors are even named to reflect the lyrics of the AC/DC hit: Shot-glass clear, Can I come again please? white, and Texas cheeseburger cheese orange.
