See tour dates and locations here. July will also see the release of a new album; one that's been shaping up really nicely in the band room over the past few weeks. We'll have more information regarding the tour and the record in the next few months. We hope to see many of you at the shows, and to finally meet some people whom we've shared a long correspondence with... Thanks so much to Alex from Sick Man Getting Sick Records for making this happen. We owe you big time :) Please spread the word about the tour, and if you know of any booking agents or promoters, we still need two shows for the tour, on the 22nd and 23rd of July. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks for reading. See it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERFBmOtElKU With their influences rooted in progressive metal, ONI's sound can be compared to the genre's heavy hitters - The Human Abstract, Protest The Hero and Between The Buried And Me - yet they remain truly unique. With Jake Oni handling vocal duties, Martin Andres and Brandon White on guitar, Chase Bryant on bass and Joe Greulich on drums, they are also perhaps the first metal band to feature a xylosynth player, Johnny D, which adds an intriguing dynamic to the nine tracks found on 'Ironshore'. Produced by Josh Wilbur (Lamb Of God, Gojira), the album takes listeners on an absorbing ride that provides ample opportunity for head-banging, singing along and deep introspection. The band put out the following statement on Facebook: “To our European Supporters, It is with our most sincere apologies that we will need to cancel the upcoming Torch The Earth tour. Upon the initial planning of this tour our goal was to return to Europe in 2017 pairing a new record with the tour. Unfortunately some unexpected delays have hindered our chances of releasing the record in this time frame. We appreciate that our fans understand how important this release is to us, it is a record we have put so much effort into on every angle, and we feel we would be selling our fans and ourselves short if we compromised the overall release of it. We promise to be back at a later time in 2017, and with a brand new record. Refunds will be available at point of purchase for all cancelled shows”. Stay tuned for further information on Emmure’s touring in 2017.
