Bay Area melodic death metal outfit Light This City announces the band's first ever European tour, confirmed for the end of summer, as the band continues to support of their acclaimed Terminal Bloom LP, released last year through Creator-Destructor Records.

Terminal Bloom, Light This City's first album in a decade, boasts ten tracks that capture their tendency towards extreme melody and intensity, honoring the Swedish sounds of the '90s. Having spent the past decade performing and touring in numerous other bands, the five members of Light This City have only honed and shaped their skills and musicianship since their 2008-released Stormchaser. Terminal Bloom was recorded from December 2017 through February 2018 with Zack Ohren (Suffocation, Cattle Decapitation, Fallujah) at Castle Ultimate Studios in Oakland, California, as with their previous four albums, and is wrapped in the vibrant cover artwork of Tony Midi.

Following several tours throughout the US and Canada, as well as their first tour of Mexico, and a recent tour of Japan, Light This City now confirms their maiden trip across the Atlantic. The band's European Bloom Part 1 trek will begin September 12th and run through Germany, Denmark, Holland, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland, coming to an end on September 21st. Watch for additional tour dates to be announced in the months ahead as the band continues to book new ventures.

Drummer Ben Murray states:-

"We couldn't be more excited to finally bring our thrash attack to Europe! This is just part 1 of our plan to tour Europe, as we'll be announcing another run early next year. If you live in one of these cities, we hope you make it out to one of the shows! It's been fifteen years since we began as a band, and we've wanted to get to Europe the whole time. See you in September!"

Terminal Bloom is available on CD, LP, and digital formats now through Creator-Destructor Records. Find order options at the label webstore HERE and Bandcamp where the album is streaming HERE.

In 2019, the band continues to push the boundaries of the symphonic metal genre with Live To Tell The Story, which follows their 2016 EP, The Ferryman’s Shore, and their 2017 debut full length album, The Great Wall.

Beyond Forgiveness vocalist Talia Hoit says:-

Puerto Rican Stoner / Prog Metallers Moths announce US tour

4/2/2019

Picture

San Juan stoner/progressive metal act Moths embark on their first mainland United States performances this February with a string of shows on the East Coast.  Following the November 2018 release of their debut EP (s/t), the band is looking forward to bringing their music to new audiences.

Says bassist Weslie Negrón:-

"We're extremely excited to be able to perform in the U.S. Mainland for the first time. Since we got featured as Album of the Day in Bandcamp, we've had people from the areas that we're playing give us great reactions to the EP -- and we can't wait to show people what the Puerto Rican metal scene is all about.  There's a lot of talent in the Island, especially regarding metal, so we want to encourage people to keep digging on the bands that we got here."

Picture

Tour Dates

  • 2/7/19: Ralph's Rock Diner, Worcester, Massachusetts -- with Cazador, North Star the Wanderer, and Bone Church

  • 2/8/19: Century Bar, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania -- with Moons, The Stone Eye, and DipEater
  • 2/9/19: La Cabaña Restaurant, Washington, DC -- with SunLord, Sangre Inedita, Part Death, Visceral Violation, and Sky Raider

  • 2/10/19: The Kingsland, Brooklyn, New York -- with Lightmaker, False Gods, and Reign of Zaius

Moths is a stoner/progressive metal band from San Juan, Puerto Rico that blends powerful riffs with unexpected and increasingly progressive undertones. The band was founded in 2016 by Weslie Negrón (bass), Jonathan Miranda (lead guitar), and Omar González (rhythm guitar), with the later addition of Damaris Rodríguez (vocals) and Daniel Figueroa (drums). With influences ranging from Porcupine Tree to King Crimson, they have impressed their local metal scene with an uncommon style that's enjoyed by metalheads and non-metal fans alike. With Damaris’ aggressive but melodic vocals, Omar’s catchy riffs, Jonathan’s unorthodox leads, Weslie’s solid bass lines, and Daniel’s extreme drumming, Moths create a perfect balance of heavy and cohesive music that impacts audiences on a whole new level.

While the band was affected by Hurricane Maria, which devastated much of Puerto Rico in September 2017, they pushed through trying times to continue their craft. Their debut self-titled EP was released in November 2018 to international accolades, including being featured by bandcamp as an Album of the Day.

All-star Death Metal band Sinsaenum on tour this Autumn

8/9/2018

DragonForce´s Fred Leclercq and Joey Jordison of Vimic (former drummer and co-founding member of Slipknot), who just released the brand new and critically acclaimed album 'Repulsion For Humanity' by all-star death metal band Sinsaenum on August 10th 2018 with Ear Music, are about to kick off for an extensive European tour this September! Starting on September 28th with shows in France, continuing their run all over Germany, Poland, Italy, Scandinavia, BeNeLux and many more European hot spots with a final show in Helsinki a month later, the band will be joined by very special guests Hatesphere.

When you hear about artist side projects or self-styled “all-star bands”, you usually cannot help but roll your eyes at the audacity of the creators. However, when it comes to the extreme metal beast that is Sinsaenum, open your mind and ears and forget your preconceptions! Whilst they may draw their sonic power from renowned names, these are first and foremost friends joining forces as the most logical thing to do. Sinsaenum is a solidly bonded band of like-minded great musicians featuring Joey Jordison, DragonForce's Fred Leclercq, Attila Csihar from Norwegian black metal legends Mayhem and drone masters SunnO))) (who has been featured on the band's highly acclaimed debut album 'Echoes Of The Tortured`'), Sean Zatorsky from NWoAHM titans Dååth and Chimaira, Stéphane Buriez of French death metal veterans Loudblast as well as Heimoth, mastermind of eclectic extremists Seth.

“I’ve been a death metal fan ever since and wrote some of these songs already in 1998, so it’s something I always wanted to do,” says multi-instrumentalist and virtuoso bass player of London-based Power Metallers DragonForce Fred Leclercq, who sticks to the guitar on this venture. “There was never the right time though, nor did I find the proper people to pull it off.”

The end result of this mighty fusion is the second successfully released album titled 'Repulsion For Humanity', featuring some head-splitting riffs, challenging rhythms and structures, but at once such an infectious record created by one of the most influencing and incredibly versatile musicians the metal scene has to offer.

It's been just a matter of time to finally bring this exciting band project live on stage:-

"We are really excited about this upcoming tour in the fall and we looking forward to finally being able to meet our fans. To embark on this run with HateSphere is an honour and a great motivation to outdo ourselves every night! Those of you who have already seen us with our other bands know what we are capable of; all these energies combined will be something unique you dont want to miss! See you all very soon!“
- Joey, Steph, Heimoth, Sean, Fred.

Check out this promising teaser in support of the band's upcoming 'Repulsion For Humanity Tour 2018' right HERE!

Australian metalheads! Prepare yourselves as Sinsaenum have set their eyes on Australia for the very first time. The supergroup featuring Joey Jordison (ex-Slipknot), Frederic Leclercq (Dragonforce), Sean Z (Chimaira), Heimoth (Seth) and Stephane Buriez (Loudblast), will tear the roof off this November on the backs of their latest, bone-crushing release ‘Repulsion For Humanity’ across two exclusive Australian shows.

Formed in 2016 by Leclercq, Buriez and Jordison, the trio quickly recruited Sean & Heimoth and released their debut album ‘Echoes Of The Tortured’ to world-wide critical acclaim. The supergroup are back with their sophomore release ‘Repulsion For Humanity’, out Augsut 10th via EarMusic, and are set on unleashing their very first live offerings to fans around the world.

A sonic assault on the senses and pure manifestation of death metal aggression - Sinsaenum will be bringing this to Australia this November. Australian Sins, be ready!

Limited VIP Meet and Greet upgrades available for those who want to meet the legendary musicians behind the band!
