“With great musicianship all round including some excellent guitar work, I understand that this band’s fanbase is increasing all the time.” – RavenHeart Music
“If you like female-fronted power / thrash metal with choral and symphonic arrangements, Edge Of Attack is the album for you. Be on the lookout for Edge Of Attack to make a name for themselves in 2013. 8.5/ 10″ – HardRockHaven
“The whole album, in my view, oozes class and talent, it really does have everything the most discerning of Metalheads could ask for, even the albums shortest track, “Forever” packs a real punch, with its immense riff and catchy chorus it is surely a song screaming out to be released as a single…I’d strongly advise you to get your grubby little mitts on this album, as to me it represents a masterful fusion of old school Thrash and Metal, delivered with a bang up to date, cutting edge sound that is a real joy to behold. 9.5/10″
– Planet Mosh
“Edge Of Attack succeed in the task of being incredibly cohesive, smooth, and streamlined.
This combination is probably what has made it so memorable for me over a short time.” 8/10

Azure Emote, the avant-garde / death metal entity envisioned and created by Mike Hrubovcak (Monstrosity, Vile, etc) is scheduled to release their second full-length work, "The Gravity Of Impermanence", worldwide on April 3rd via Selfmadegod Records.
Under Hrubovcak’s direction, songwriting and full-on participation in its creation, "The Gravity Of Impermanence" was executed utilizing musicians from Death, Fear Factory, Yakuza, Tristania, Rumpelstiltskin Grinder and more. With over an hour of material displayed through fourteen tracks, the album is fueled by pummeling blast beats, electronic programming, a mixture of both guttural and haunting vocal styles, violins, saxophone, harmonica and a barrage of other instruments coalescing in a melting pot of misanthropic darkness that defines the Azure Emote ethos, recorded, mixed and mastered by Ron Vento of Aurora Borealis at Nightsky Studios.
The cover art was once again done by Azure Emote's creator and frontman Mike Hrubovcak, his Visual Darkness works well-known in the death / grind communities for illustrating covers for Sinister, Grave, Cattle Decapitation, Hate Eternal, Mortician, and many others.
Today venerable scene news outlet / community Lambgoat.com is hosting an exclusive stream of the opening track to "The Gravity Of Impermanence". Unleash the brilliantly unique destruction of “Epoch Of De-Evolution” at this location.

Lifeforce Records are proud to announce the signing of Northern Californian Progressive metal instrumentalists Abnormal Thought Patterns.
In 2008, Jasun wrote and recorded the 12-minute instrumental "Velocity and Acceleration", the track that would ultimately lead to the founding of Abnormal Thought Patterns. Upon hearing the song, Troy expressed his desire to put together an instrumental band. The Tipton brothers looked no further than longtime drummer and friend Mike Guy to provide the rhythmic foundation for ATP. The three members then headed to the studio and tracked seven songs for CynNormal Lab Recordings.
Prior to forming ATP, the trio was for many years the backbone of Progressive metal powerhouses Zero Hour, releasing five albums, including the landmark 2001 epic, "The Towers of Avarice".
Michael Rensen of Germany's Rock Hard magazine proclaimed, "Zero Hour is one of the five Best Progressive Newcomers in the late '90s!" This and other accolades landed Zero Hour gigs alongside such notable bands as Opeth, Cynic, Symphony X, All That Remains, The Human Abstract and Liquid Tension Experiment, in addition to multiple successful European tours and three appearances at America's premier progressive metal festival, Prog Power USA. The Tipton brothers have also been guest columnists on the popular guitar enthusiast website Chops from Hell, and have released two instructional videos.
Lifeforce Records CEO commented about the signing of Abnormal Thought Patterns:
"It is definitely not the easiest to go through a huge pile of demos and nothing can better describe it than what Season Of Mist founder Michael Berberian just recently said "...That’s the equivalent of Mordor – a dark place where we don’t usually go unless we really have to....", however I made my way through and it was that not very substantially looking demo that caught my attention after the first few tunes... Thank god (or whoever was responsible for) that I listen through pretty much everything being sent to Lifeforce... I'm still blown away by the sheer technicality these guys have in their fingers and I truly believe the Tiptons are guitar mutants! :)"
Jasun Tipton comments:
"We'd like to thank Lifeforce for this awesome opportunity. The band is very pleased with the new material as "Manipulation Under Anesthesia" is truly the thoughts and sounds of Abnormal Thought Patterns."
Abnormal Thought Patterns' Lifeforce Records debut "Manipulation Under Anesthesia" is set to be released in spring 2013.

World renowned surrealist Vincent Castiglia is pleased to announce that he is offering new, hand painted / embellished Giclée prints for the first time ever. Each print is uniquely signed and numbered – and of course, painted with Vincent’s own blood (ed: and people complained at Bloodstock for Watain supposedly using their own blood!).

This is a rare opportunity for any collector who might be interested in a piece embellished by Vincent Castiglia at a more affordable price.
The prints that Vincent has made available are:

“The ominous truth that his art confronts, along with the exquisiteness in which it is portrayed, provides a timeless revelation into human existence.” – Joe Sopkowics, Forensic Photographer
Vincent Castiglia’s impressive work has seen many sides of the entertainment world, as well. MTV New Media's Horror-Slasher Film, Savage County, featured his art as its official movie poster, depicting the three murderers in the film. Ephrata, PA, metal quintet Texas In July yesterday premiered their new music video for "Bed of Nails" - off of their recently released self-titled album. The video can be viewed on Youtube and on TexasInJuly.com.
The music video was co-directed by Kevin Cross and Brad Golowin of Thunder Down Country (Miss May I, Memphis May Fire, Asking Alexandria) and filmed in Ohio.
"There is a very distinct guitar part in this song, triggered by the infamous whammy pedal," states lyricist / bassist Ben Witkowski of "Bed of Nails" - a clear stand-out track on the album - and one of the band's most impressive songs to date. "I remember when Christian [Royer] wrote this part in studio and it's like our world as a band spun around. One different thing after another on this record, and this song was the icing on the cake." He continues, "We're very excited for "Bed of Nails" to be our first music video off of the self-titled record. We had a ton of fun creating this song and watching it grow, can't wait for everyone to see this!"
