The concept is something I've been holding on to for a long time, and it's great to finally see it come to life." The concept of the album shows each song focusing on a different scientist or figure throughout history. Though they went against the common beliefs of their time and often faced persecution for their ideas, they continued to ask questions and stand up for what they knew to be true. As time would go on, their theories and beliefs would eventually be acknowledged.

South American death cult Reptilium will release a new four-song EP April 17 on Slam World Wide. The Reptile Sect is back with a new set of hierophantic transmissions: Adrenochromacy. This follow-up to 2019’s debut EP Conspiranoic conveys even more information about the truth of worldwide enslavement, abduction, and reveals a new musical aspect of Reptilium’s blistering ufonaut horror. A true DIY project, Adrenochromacy was recorded, engineered and produced by Reptilium’s Nirah (guitar & vocals) and Cecrops (drums) at Valley of the Death in Quito, Ecuador. Music for the EP was written and recorded by Nirah, with drums, cover art, lyrics and vocals by Cecrops. Mixing and mastering duties were handled by Cody Fuentes at Rapture Recordings, Los Angeles, California. Reptilium, also known as “The Reptile Sect” is a death cult originated in the depth of South America's cursed mountain ranges, with the goal of establishing a portal for their so called "forbidden truth" to come through. Today, Nexorum 's Roger Isaksen presents you a new guitars play-through video for the song ‘Antediluvian Purification’ that you can watch here: https://youtu.be/yx0_lzttF2A Roger Isaksen comments on ‘Antediluvian Purification’: "Norway is in lock-down mode and we are advised to keep to ourselves. Not the worst situation to be in when you are somewhat introvert and have misanthropic tendencies, but it's also kind of boring to only play music in solitude. That's why we would like to share a guitar play through of ‘Antediluvian Purification’ with you! Do you like this kind of videos? If so, which song would you like to see next, and what instrument? I think it is apparent that the album is written with passion when listening to it. We’re not trying to make groundbreaking music or show of how technically we are able to play; we just want to deliver a solid album that we can be proud of!”. The dark metal band blends black, gothic, doom, symphonic and melodic death elements into their sound along with vocals being sung in both English and Ukrainian. Today they are sharing with fans the first single off the full length 'Free One'. Listen to 'Free One' at these links:
Thy Despair's new album "The Song of Desolation" follows the band's 2018 debut EP "Free One". Some of the album's lyrics are influenced by the war in eastern Ukraine. "It is a great tragedy for the nation and the main idea of these songs is that you should always fight back and keep freedom in your heart and mind. Lyrics of other songs are inspired by local legends or life experience. Even when everything goes extremely bad, you should still stay strong, struggle and hope for the best, otherwise you won’t survive or will turn into a slave with no backbone." says band founder Nephilim. The album as whole features 10 tracks each with its own tale to tell and a statement that unites all of them together. They've been around since 1987 but have managed to make sure that their music sounds remarkably fresh and exciting. You can stream one of the vicious tracks on YouTube and Bandcamp, and keep an eye out for the full length promo coming your way. Legendary death metal band Death Courier are one of the earliest bands from the Greek metal scene releasing a slew of demos from way back in 1987 and putting out an album and an EP in the early '90s. More than three decades later, the band is on the verge of releasing one of the strongest albums to come from the Greek death metal scene. It's hard to believe that this is the same band because the energy level is off the charts and everything has been amped up to match present day standards without of course changing the core sound and integrity. The music is still essentially the pulsating, rabid death/thrash metal kind and there remains that palpable hunger in the members to create memorable and gnarly music that they were known for. This is a lethal new album that throws down the gauntlet to the naysayers doubting the band's prowess after so many years, who will invariably be forced to eat their words. 'Necrotic Verses' will grab you by the throat and won't let go till the shockingly potent album is over. Death Courier have set new standards for themselves and others to look up to, all over again. Band line-up - Billy Soulas - Bass and Vocals George Petousis - Guitars Ilias Iliopoulos - Drums Artwork by Misanthropic Art (Trench Warfare, Xpus) Layout by Turkka G. Rantanen (Paganizer, Revolting) Modern Metal band Reasons Behind have signed a deal with Scarlet Records for the release of their new album ‘Project: M.I.S.T.’. Founded in 2010 by guitarist and songwriter Gabriele Sapori, Reasons Behind evolved from a Symphonic Metal band with electronic influences to a more synth-oriented sounding outfit. The crystal-clear, powerful voice of Elisa Bonafè dances between catchy and enthralling melodies, combined with both modern Swedish Metal and Metalcore riffs (thanks to bass player Michele Cavalca and Andrea Gambini's drumming) and immersed in Trance / Dubstep / Eurodance atmospheres, enriched by lyrics that depict all the facets of human existence. ‘Project: M.I.S.T.’ is a concept album about life and reality, a story that unfolds through 11 compelling tracks illustrated by the evocative artwork of Gustavo Sazes (Amaranthe, Epica, Angra, Arch Enemy). The album was mixed and mastered by Giuseppe “Dualized” Bassi (Fear Factory, Mnemic). www.facebook.com/scarletrecords www.facebook.com/ReasonsBehind www.instagram.com/reasonsbehind German Medieval Metallers Feuerschwanz have released the official live video for "Metfest", the first single off the band's upcoming album, Das elfte Gebot. "Metfest“ is that anthem that makes any party a real one! Super catchy medieval, yet rocky melodies, frenetic sing-alongs and an ode to friendship! A song to grab your best bud and a barrel of mead to and crank it up! Today the band also announces the release date for the successor of 2018's extremely successful album, Methämmer, (#6 in the official German album charts). Das elfte Gebot is scheduled for a June 26 release via Napalm Records. Commented the band:- "In December 2019 we celebrated our 15 year anniversary on the sold out Metfest tour – our biggest tour so far! The extraordinary spirit of wild shows in packed venues is captured in this new live video: Raise your horns and scream out loud with hordes of folk metalheads praising the brew of Vikings, dwarves and warriors – hail to the holy mead - Metfest!"
