Multi-national melodic metallers Angel Nation have just released a music video for their new single "Fly Away". Angel Nation are currently working on the band's third album, but they've made a pit stop on this journey by releasing an extra special song "Fly Away". Some time ago a long term supporter approached Elina to ask if she would write a song to his son's memory. She read the story behind it which turned out to be very moving and sad. However, when hearing more and looking more closely, it was the positivity and joy that shone through. A song dedicated to the memory of Leif Ole, someone who touched so many hearts, kept laughing, showing others how to enjoy the small things. Someone whose smile will never die in the hearts of those who got to know him. Musically "Fly Away" has the true Angel Nation sound, bringing back the old school band feel and 80’s vibes. This ballad combines a more intimate, acoustic approach and a full rock sound being delicate, strong, sad and joyful, all at the same time! "We are thrilled to be releasing new music and hope this song will bring positivity in the midst of what has been a hard year for many of us. If you want to support us on our way to our third full-length album, you can purchase and stream this single on the usual digital platforms." Angel Nation online

Prominent Ukrainian power metal act Sunrise has recently revealed details of the 4th full-length album, coming on May 18th under the name of 'Equilibria'. This time band, mostly known for the sound highly valued by the fans of Sonata Arctica and Stratovarius, promises far more than its classical musical approach. Thus, 13 songs of 'Equilibria' will be a mix of classic power metal, symphonic, epic, modern and progressive metal with some experimental touches, such as traditional Ukrainian instrument bandura. After three full-length releases, valued among the genre’s fans (‘Liberty’ 2007, ‘Trust Your Soul' 2009, ‘Absolute Clarity’ 2016) 'Equilibria' shows the new level in approach to make arrangements and the sound. The first single from the album, “The Bridge Across Infinity”, was released in 2020. It is based on Richard Bach’s novel and is one of the songs, which is experimental for the band and represents the progressive part of the album. At the same time, Sunrise promises that it was “just a first spark from the flame of the future release”, and for the ‘Equilibria’ they have prepared a lot of surprises and interesting music points. One of the changes in comparison with the previous Sunrise albums is that the ‘Equilibria’ will have more place for female vocals: the voice of the keyboardist and backing vocalist Daria Naumenko this time will receive more space and will come to the fore in a number of songs as lead vocals next to the as always mighty vocals of Konstantin ‘Laars’ Naumenko. The work of four lead guitarists on ‘Equilibria’, each of whom brought their own ideas and even songs into it, makes the album even more diverse. ‘Equilibria’ is a kind of international work: Slovak vocalist Mayo Petranin, a member of Symphonity and Castaway bands, became a guest on one of the songs, and Polish friends of Sunrise joined the band to write the lyrics for the new album. To release a new album Sunrise has launched a crowdfunding campaign on the band’s website, where the fans can support the release by pre-ordering it or buying merch. Previously the band has already had two successful crowdfunding stories - with the release of the ‘Absolute Clarity’ album in 2016 and the re-release of the ‘Trust Your Soul’ album in 2019. https://sunrisekiev.wixsite.com/sunrise https://www.facebook.com/sunrisekiev https://www.instagram.com/sunrisekiev https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCigWYqJev0s3ejNWW7ux4ew Colombian speed metal band Witch Hunt has signed to Dead Center Productions to release their debut full-length album "Rock n' Roll Possession" (10 tracks of old-school Speed-Metal influenced by Onslaught, Venom, Celtic Frost, Slayer, Steeler (DE), Mercyful Fate!)! Dead Center Productions: Solus Ex Inferis is a trans-continental, technical death metal band founded by long-time musician and guitar player, Dave Sevenstrings alongside Marco Pitruzzella aka Lord Marco (Six Feet Under, Sleep Terror, ex-The Faceless), Sahil Makhija aka Demonstealer (Demonic Resurrection, Reptilian Death), Ollie Morgan (Necropathy) and Mauricio Catalán. The band first broke into the worldwide metal scene back in 2018 with their critically acclaimed 4-song EP, Demonic Supremacy. Three years on, Solus Ex Inferis has resurfaced with news of their debut full-length album, Daemones Ceramici; scheduled to be released on 9th July 2021. Alongside the announcement, the band has also unveiled a new single off of the upcoming LP titled, "Destroying Malevolence". The track is accompanied with a slick lyric video featuring, in great detail, the diabolic cover art drawn by Tata Kumislizer. Stream / listen [HERE]. Formed in 2017, Solus Ex Inferis came about as a means for the band’s original bassist and co-founding member, Matt Nemeth, to hone his audio engineering & production capabilities. Looking for a specific style of extreme metal drumming, Nemeth and Sevenstrings — both die-hard fans of Pitruzzella’s work — decided to approach him to see if he’d be interested in joining the band. Once Pitruzzella agreed, the two decided to engage a full-time vocalist (Sahil Makhija) and a lead-guitar player (Ollie Morgan). This line-up, with members from US, Australia, Chile and India, went on to record the band’s debut EP, Demonic Supremacy. Soon after its release, Nemeth quit the band and was replaced by Mauricio Catalán. Catalán, besides being a bassist, also ran a full-fledged studio and it was here where the band’s upcoming full-length was entirely mixed & mastered. Right from the band’s inception, it has been Dave Sevenstrings’ constant endeavour to write music that combined fast-paced, blast-beat style death metal with melodic lead elements and simultaneously was informed by the sounds of celebrated bands in the genre like Vital Remains, Hypocrisy, Deeds Of Flesh, Psycroptic etc. It started to evolve into its own thing once all the members started participating in the writing process and started to contribute some of their own musical influences from the different regions they came from. Hence, the music on Daemones Ceramici, while being devastatingly fast-paced and razor-sharp technical, “still retains the core of any good song, (and includes) solid riffs that you can headbang to” says Dave. If you thought the last EP was any indication of how brutal or extreme Solus Ex Inferis could sound, the full-length quashes all of that point-blank and strives to push all known boundaries within the tech-death realm. Named after the malevolent spirits in Greek mythology, Solus Ex Inferis’ debut full-length plays around concepts of demonology and the occult; often re-contextualizing it for the terrible state of the world as we know it today. “The album reflects on human beings as the real demons, it reflects the hypocrisy and hatred fuelled by religion” adds Makhija, the band’s frontman and lyricist. Socials Music Merch Links Californian metalcore trio Light The Torch announce new album 'You Will Be The Death Of Me'.11/4/2021 Light The Torch — Howard Jones [vocals], Francesco Artusato [guitar] and Ryan Wombacher [bass] — will release their new album and second full length "You Will Be the Death of Me" on June 25 via Nuclear Blast. Pre-order it here. The band has dropped the video for the first track, "Wilting in the Light," which was directed by Ramon Boutviseth in L.A. Watch it here. / Pre-save and listen here. Jones says:- "You Will Be the Death of Me has been a journey — even without the pandemic. This album has been emotional and rewarding in every way, and we couldn't be more excited to finally release it. Maybe there was a bit of desperation writing and recording these songs. Going through personal turmoil and watching Francesco deal with injuries, we knew this could change things drastically for us. The album was a welcome distraction, and we dumped every emotion we had into YWBTDOM. To watch Fran heal and become an even more complete artist in front of my eyes has been amazing to watch. Everything we went through individually and together with this album drew Fran, Ryan, and I together. I couldn't be more proud of this album knowing I made it with my family." Artusato opens up about his experiences, saying:- "This record is special to me in a different way. From writing the music during one of the toughest times of my life while dealing with a bad injury due to a car accident to being obsessively involved with every aspect of its production, recording, and creating the artwork. It's hard to describe how I feel, and to finally see this record getting ready to be released. We are all very satisfied with how this record showcases the evolution of our band and our evolution as individuals. Without our brotherhood, this music could not have happened. Music is what kept us strong together during our toughest times. There's nothing like art that expresses pure and deep emotions, and that's what I feel when I listen to Howard's performance on this record." Wombacher concurs:- "I think this album shows the growth the band has experienced after years on the road together, and a friendship that has continued to thrive doing what we love together." The guys returned to Sparrow Sound in Glendale, California to once again work with the production team of Josh Gilbert and Joseph McQueen [Bullet for My Valentine, As I Lay Dying, Suicide Silence]. This time around, they also welcomed Whitechapel's Alex Rudinger on drums. "He's incredible," says Artusato. "He was exactly what we needed." Upheld by head-spinning seven-string virtuosity yet anchored to skyscraping melodies, Light the Torch crafted 12 metallic anthems, including an unexpected and awesome cover of the '80s hit 'Sign Your Name' by R&B singer Terence Trent D'Arby. The group shot out of the gate as a contender on their full-length debut, Revival. It bowed at #4 on the Billboard US Independent Albums Chart and at #10 on the Hard Rock Albums Chart in addition to receiving acclaim from Revolver, Outburn, and many more. 'Calm Before the Storm' racked up a staggering 14.5 million Spotify streams, while 'The Safety of Disbelief' remains one of SiriusXM Octane's all-time most requested songs. They also crisscrossed North America and Europe on tour with the likes of Trivium, Avatar, In Flames, Ice Nine Kills, Killswitch Engage, and August Burns Red to name a few. You Will Be the Death of Me finds Light the Torch firing on all cylinders and ready to take things to the next level. Band links: Floridian deathcore mob Kill The Imposter unveil two music videos from “The Violence Sessions”8/4/2021 Kill The Imposter is an in-your-face, no-holds-barred deathcore onslaught hailing from Orlando, USA. They have a new album coming out in May of 2021 and it promises violence, rage, and a monstrous barrage of breakdowns, screams, riffs, and blast beats. “The Violence Sessions” is a seven-track album, and the third released from the band following “The Decimation” (2019), and “A Strain Of Agony” (2020). The upcoming offering is pure chaotic energy, something that current fans will recognize and new fans will revel in. Already, Kill The Imposter has released two music videos for the tracks “Mace” and “Suffer Alone”. “Mace” is likely the only political song the band will ever write, but the takeaway of it is, think for yourselves. People, who have no allegiance to you, are not the people you should be listening to. “Suffer Alone” was written for vocalist Johnny Nobody’s ex-wife as he explains himself: “I didn’t know a better way to describe the way I felt at my worst with her. I took the idea from the movie “300’ when Leonidas tells the traitor “I hope you live forever”.” He continues to share his thoughts on the full album, “we cannot wait for the fans to get their hands on it, the music is just getting tighter and more violent with each song. The more we work together the better these hits are turning out” Violent and tight, Kill The Imposter is the remedy for a hard day or the encouragement you need at the gym, they are recommended for fans of Hatebreed, Alpha Wolf, and Dealer.
“The Violence Sessions” comes out on May 28, 2021. Singles available on Spotify and Apple Music Kill The Imposter is an Orlando, USA-based deathcore band that was formed in late 2018. Pulling musical inspiration from everywhere, the intention of this four-piece band is to make you move in any capacity you see fit. Coming from local and national bands, Kill The Imposter brings experience, drive, and mayhem, to the stage. The quartet banded together over a shared love for heavy and violent music, after sharing the stage for one song they knew they had something special, so they sat down together and within a week had 3 songs written and a video lined up. They haven’t stopped since that first sit down, and they won’t stop. One of the founding members Danny Arrieta (guitar) is the primary music writer getting help with arrangement by Johnny Nobody (vocals). Nick Colvin (drums) carries the aggressive speed and heavy grooves with Wilson Bembry ( bass) definitely sharing and blending the thundering lows and technical playing between all of it. Since they got together, Kill The Imposter has released “The Decimation” (2019), “A Strain Of Agony” (2020) and “The Violence Sessions” (2021). They have pummeled the stages of Central Florida Metal Fest and Tampa DeathFest and played alongside heavy hitters such as Nile and Terrorizer.
