 Experimental Indian death metal band Fragarak have put out a stunning album that's unparalleled at least this part of the world. Rolling Stone India premiered the first song from their massive album 'A Spectral Oblivion' AT THIS LINK. Ambitious Indian band Fragarak from New Delhi have come up with an album of epic proportions. Featuring Louis Rando of Impiety on drums, they've fabricated elaborate songs that are both atmospheric and suspenseful. Their first album was groundbreaking in its vision, but with 'A Spectral Oblivion' they've truly proved their worth. This is a statement of sorts that bands from this part of the world too can come up with music that's original. Though steeped in classic death metal, they've done well to expand upon that style and add their own aura of mysticism and intrigue. Albums like these probably won't ever be replicated, but there's enough material here to last a while.

Arrival Of Autumn started as a band with a mission to play music without compromise and carve their way through the music scene on their own terms. Coming from a small city in Northern Canada, this was a necessary strategy, since the band didn't come up in a big city scene with regular promoters, venues and attendees. After touring in support of two self-released albums, 'Endless Nights' and 'Shadows', the band began plotting their next release. On a whim they decided to send some of the new demos to one of their heroes, Jason Suecof at Audiohammer Studios, to see if he would be interested in recording them. To the band’s absolute surprise, Jason liked what he heard and found time between some of the heavy-hitters that he had been working on, to record the material. This was an opportunity the band couldn't pass up, and immediately started planning the trip of flying over 3000 miles, from one end of the continent of North America to the other, to record the best songs the band had ever written.  Fast forward to after two successful recording sessions produced by Jason Suecof and mastered by Mark Lewis, the band was able to attract the attention of A&R legend Monte Conner. Conner was impressed with what he heard and quickly struck a deal with the band.  American black metal cult Worm premiere the new track "Winged Beast of the Phantom Crypt" at heavily trafficked web-portal NoCleanSinging.com. The track hails from the band's highly anticipated debut album, Evocation of the Black Marsh, set for international release on September 29th via Iron Bonehead Productions. To date, he's done two rare demos, The Deep Dark Earth Underlines All (2014) and Nights in Hell (2016), but now as a duo alongside one Equimanthorn, Worm present the fullest distillation of their foul 'n' fetid aesthetic in Evocation of the Black Marsh. Ever aptly titled, Evocation of the Black Marsh comprises eight hymns to the spiritual swamp lurking in every listener. With titles like "Evil in the Mire," "Altar of Black Sludge," and especially "The Slime Weeps" and "Swamp Ghoul," it would be fair to assume that Worm would worship at the altar of Varathron's classic His Majesty at the Swamp. However, while faint traces of those Greek gods can be detected, across the 42-minute LP is a clanging, blown-out appropriation of early Goatlord and Mortuary Drape, but strewn with a screws-loose personality that hails unorthodoxy endlessly. It's a harsh and unsettling listener, but done with the authenticity and purity of black metal's earliest, pre-tabloid days - and where else would something harsh and unsettling end but at the swamp?  Spanish heavy metal warriors Vhäldemar reveal the cover artwork and track-listing for their long-awaited fifth album, Against All Kings, which has been recorded during the first half of this year and was preceded by the release of a limited EP this past May entitled Old King's Visions (part V). Now Vhäldemar can proudly say they're in front of the best album in their career, a powerful opus comprised of 11 true metal hymns full of memorable riffs, killer choruses, and awesome solos.
