Experimental Indian death metal band Fragarak have put out a stunning album that's unparalleled at least this part of the world. Rolling Stone India premiered the first song from their massive album 'A Spectral Oblivion' AT THIS LINK.
Ambitious Indian band Fragarak from New Delhi have come up with an album of epic proportions. Featuring Louis Rando of Impiety on drums, they've fabricated elaborate songs that are both atmospheric and suspenseful. Their first album was groundbreaking in its vision, but with 'A Spectral Oblivion' they've truly proved their worth. This is a statement of sorts that bands from this part of the world too can come up with music that's original. Though steeped in classic death metal, they've done well to expand upon that style and add their own aura of mysticism and intrigue. Albums like these probably won't ever be replicated, but there's enough material here to last a while.

Nuclear Blast Entertainment is pleased to announce the signing of Canadian newcomers, Arrival Of Autumn. "We are incredibly excited to be signed with Nuclear Blast Entertainment," states the band. "To work with a team that has not only been a leader in the industry, but has helped develop and give the world so many bands that are extremely important to us as musicians, is an absolute honour."
Thee band has released a demo version of a song from their upcoming album. Check out the song produced and mixed by Jason Suecof on Spotify or YouTube HERE.
Arrival Of Autumn started as a band with a mission to play music without compromise and carve their way through the music scene on their own terms. Coming from a small city in Northern Canada, this was a necessary strategy, since the band didn't come up in a big city scene with regular promoters, venues and attendees.
After touring in support of two self-released albums, 'Endless Nights' and 'Shadows', the band began plotting their next release. On a whim they decided to send some of the new demos to one of their heroes, Jason Suecof at Audiohammer Studios, to see if he would be interested in recording them. To the band’s absolute surprise, Jason liked what he heard and found time between some of the heavy-hitters that he had been working on, to record the material. This was an opportunity the band couldn't pass up, and immediately started planning the trip of flying over 3000 miles, from one end of the continent of North America to the other, to record the best songs the band had ever written.
Fast forward to after two successful recording sessions produced by Jason Suecof and mastered by Mark Lewis, the band was able to attract the attention of A&R legend Monte Conner. Conner was impressed with what he heard and quickly struck a deal with the band. With such a rapid ascent thus far, there's no telling what great things lurk in Arrival Of Autumn's not too distant future. Keep an eye out for news on the band's label debut sometime in early 2018.
Arrival Of Autumn is:
Jamison Friesen | vocals, rhythm guitar
Brendan Anderson | lead guitar
Kevin Student | bass
Ty Fox | drums

American black metal cult Worm premiere the new track "Winged Beast of the Phantom Crypt" at heavily trafficked web-portal NoCleanSinging.com. The track hails from the band's highly anticipated debut album, Evocation of the Black Marsh, set for international release on September 29th via Iron Bonehead Productions. Hear Worm's "Winged Beast of the Phantom Crypt" in its entirety exclusively HERE.
Hailing from the swampy recesses of Florida, Worm is the work of one mysterious Fantomslaughter. To date, he's done two rare demos, The Deep Dark Earth Underlines All (2014) and Nights in Hell (2016), but now as a duo alongside one Equimanthorn, Worm present the fullest distillation of their foul 'n' fetid aesthetic in Evocation of the Black Marsh.
Ever aptly titled, Evocation of the Black Marsh comprises eight hymns to the spiritual swamp lurking in every listener. With titles like "Evil in the Mire," "Altar of Black Sludge," and especially "The Slime Weeps" and "Swamp Ghoul," it would be fair to assume that Worm would worship at the altar of Varathron's classic His Majesty at the Swamp. However, while faint traces of those Greek gods can be detected, across the 42-minute LP is a clanging, blown-out appropriation of early Goatlord and Mortuary Drape, but strewn with a screws-loose personality that hails unorthodoxy endlessly. It's a harsh and unsettling listener, but done with the authenticity and purity of black metal's earliest, pre-tabloid days - and where else would something harsh and unsettling end but at the swamp?
Submerge into the slime and prepare for a true Evocation of the Black Marsh. Take the next plunge exclusively HERE, courtesy of NoCleanSinging.com. The first plunge can be taken with the title track HERE at Iron Bonehead's Soundcloud.

Brazil's Daydream XI debuts "A Cup Of Agony" via Metal Underground; 'The Circus Of The Tattered And Torn' nears release through Sensory
As Brazilian progressive rock / metal act Daydream XI prepares for their Sensory Records debut with the release of their second album, The Circus Of The Tattered And Torn, a new single from the record is unveiled. Metal Underground is now streaming the album's "A Cup Of Agony," ahead of the album's release and the band's US live debut at ProgPower USA in two weeks.
Issues Daydream XI's Tiago Masseti with the "A Cup Of Agony" premiere:-
"We are very excited that our first live appearance in the US will be at ProgPower USA. The festival's audience and crew have been supporting us since we released our first album and it couldn't be more appropriate to bring this new material to them first hand.
In the song 'A Cup Of Agony' we join the stuntman, one of the attractions of the circus, as he reflects about the concept of pain. He draws a parallel between physical and psychological pain and how either affects us and get us addicted.
Doing his stunts, he deals with physical pain on a daily basis, turning it into entertainment. And as a performer and someone who takes such an aggressive element of human life and turns it into art he deals with a great deal of psychological pain.
And he drinks from this cup, feeding his pain in the quest for attention and recognition. And he nurtures it, endlessly."
Metal Underground states, "This high-octane mixture of full force metal with power and prog sounds is highly recommended for fans of Dream Theater, Symphony X, and Pain Of Salvation."
Hear Daydream XI's "A Cup Of Agony" through Metal Underground at THIS LOCATION.
The Circus Of The Tattered And Torn will be released on six-panel digipak CD with a twenty-eight page booklet and digital formats on September 22nd through Sensory Records; fans of Dream Theater, Symphony X, and Pain Of Salvation should tune in.
Stream the tracks "Trust-Forged Knife" and "Painted Smile" and find preorders for the CD and standard digital version are available HERE, and the CD and 24-bit hi-res version available HERE.

Additional tour dates are to be expected.
Daydream XI Live:
9/08/2017 Center Stage - Atlanta, GA @ ProgPower USA [info]
On their second album, The Circus Of The Tattered And Torn, Daydream XI embraces the progressive side of their music in a dark concept album. The concept is a metaphor to express that we are drawn to each other more by our weaknesses and our flaws than our strengths and virtues. It's portrayed through a journey, where Phillip, the Circus master, takes his new apprentice, Circe, across the various acts of this Circus. Each song represents a feeling or aspect of human life, channelled by the storyline of each character. With eleven epic new songs, The Circus Of The Tattered And Torn was recorded at an array of studios across Brazil and the US with the band's Tiago Masseti handling final production. The record was mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Haken), and completed with artwork by Kikyz1313 and Mateus Conter.
