Italian Brutal / Tech Death crew Carnageslumber to release debut album "Sadistic Mechanical Evolution" via Extreme Metal Music
Italian label Extreme Metal Music is excited to announce they will be releasing fellow countrymen Carnageslumber's full length "Sadistic Mechanical Evolution" to follow the band's self-titled debut EP also unleashed on the label in 2016.
Inspired by the likes of Deicide, Morbid Angel, Nile, and Cannibal Corpse, Carnageslumber have been assaulting the masses with brutal technical death metal since 2014. Evolving their approach of extreme music with an "old school style" along with their lyrics based on human guinea pigs and self-destructive behaviour, the band offers up a sound that is best described as 'gloomy, dark, dirty, low, yet classic'. This next release is more mature and technically advanced to showcase how the band has grown musically since their first effort.
Featuring vocalist Paolo “Zodd” Sofia (Velchans), drummer Lorenzo Reina (ex-Cadaver Mutilator) and guitarist Salvo Di Marco, Carnageslumber's forthcoming album "Sadistic Mechanical Evolution" is ready to annihilate fans with over 30 minutes during eleven gut-punching tracks that unleash a carnage that will wake you up from your slumber.
The band adds:
"'Sadistic Mechanical Evolution' is the canvas on which we wanted to describe the morbid need of humankind (and other "living things"). Focusing particularly upon the exploitation of the human guinea pig, analysing, and in some cases, both state of mind, victim, and executioner. Almost every song written on this album expresses all of this through the free inspiration and interpretation of more or less famous films, books, comics, and historical events."
"Sadistic Mechanical Evolution" will be available on October 25, 2019.

Greek black metal classicists Synteleia stream the entirety of their striking debut album, Ending of the Unknown Path, at Decibel magazine's website. Set for international release on August 30th via Hells Headbangers, hear Synteleia's Ending of the Unknown Path in its entirety exclusively HERE.
Although a relatively new band, Synteleia breathe the breath of the ancients and maintain an authentically classic Hellenic black metal style. Naturally, the influence of the Greek "Big Three" (Rotting Christ, Varathron, Necromantia) looms large, but also within the Synteleia sound can one detect traces of early Septic Flesh, Thou Art Lord, and Nightfall. Above all, despite being grounded in the early '90s, Synteleia exhibit a vital fire and freshness of approach which makes Ending of the Unknown Path truly timeless.
Synteleia was founded in 2015 by guitarist Drakon Hesperion and vocalist Nyctelios. Being devoted followers of the Greek black metal scene for more than 20 years, they started composing original stuff, heavily influenced by the pioneers of the scene - Rotting Christ, Varathron, Horrified, Necromantia, Thou Art Lord, and more.
With the addition of Septis (bass/keys) and the assistance of Amdusias and Oort (also members of the Greek death metal band Plague), in June 2016, Synteleia entered the studio to record their first demo, Astral Blasphemies. In January 2017, the band made its debut appearance at the Extreme Assault II Festival at Modu club, Athens. In the summer of 2017, followed by a change in line-up, Cronios joined the band as the lead guitarist, and with the assistance of Nick "Yngve" on drums, the band started rehearsing for the Under the Pagan Moon Fest, taking place at Gagarin club, Athens, on November 4th, 2017, together with Kawir and Horn.
The recordings for the debut album, Ending of the Unknown Path, started in December 2017 and went until late summer 2018. During the recordings, Synteleia appeared at the Horns Up III Festival at Trikala and Black Death Holocaust Night at Remedy club, Athens. The band’s latest live performance has been at the Lords of the Void Festival at Temple club, Athens, on October 26th, 2018, with Varathron and Disharmony.
A statement from the band reads:
"Synteleia are proud to announce Hells Headbangers Records to be our rightful partner, regarding the release of our debut album. We feel obligated to stay true to our ideals and beliefs, and cooperating with a genuine underground label that fully understands and supports our old-school Hellenic black metal aesthetics, taste, and philosophy feels the best way to repay all those who have entrusted us with their support and confidence. We are honoured to be a member of HHR's unholy legions."
Indeed, old-school Hellenic black metal aesthetics are alive and well with Synteleia as they take you to the Ending of the Unknown Path! The full path is laid before you exclusively HERE, courtesy of Decibel, North America's only monthly metal magazine. Pre-order info can be found HERE at Hells Headbangers' Bandcamp.

Band member Jaya (Jaw harp, Tsuur, Flute & Throat Singer) commented:-
“Representing Mongolian artists, we have become a Cultural Envoy of Mongolia. It is a great moment for us. We are very happy. We understand that as an envoy, we are responsible for sharing our cultural heritage with the world.”

They will next embark on their inaugural North American tour for three months from September 11 to December 7 which includes stops at Aftershock Festival (Sacramento), Riot Fest (Chicago) and Los Rageous (Las Vegas). The anticipation for the upcoming shows has received an astounding response with two shows having been immediately moved to higher capacity venues (Milwaukee, Denver) and a sold-out show in San Francisco.
The Hu stands for the Mongolian root word for human being, inspiring their original style of music that they call “Hunnu Rock.” The band pull Inspiration from the Hunnu, an ancient Mongolian empire better known as The Huns in western culture. Their music is deeply embedded with their ancient culture, even integrating old Mongolian war cries and poetry into their lyrics.
The group was founded in 2016 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia by their producer Dashka, along with band members Gala, Jaya, Temka, and Enkush. Together they create rock music with traditional Mongolian instrumentation such as the Morin Khuur (horsehead fiddle), Tovshuur (Mongolian guitar), Tumur Khuur (jaw harp), guttural throat singing built around the pillars of heavy rock: distorted guitars, bombastic drums, and aggressive rhythms. All four members have earned bachelor’s or higher degrees in classical music and have gained several years of touring experience throughout Asia and the Pacific Rim.

Tempe, Arizona-based technical death metal/symphonic black metal hybrid act Singularity are excited to announce the release of their second full-length, Place of Chains, on October 11th via The Artisan Era. It is the follow up to the group's highly praised 2016 EP, Void Walker, which was preceded by their 2014 self-titled album that put the band on the map. Place of Chains sports eye-popping cover art from Justin Abraham who has created art for Equipoise, Inanimate Existence, Lecherous Nocturne, A Loathing Requiem, Æpoch, and more. Now in 2019, Singularity's years of hard work and commitment to their craft has paid off with their most accomplished material yet on Place of Chains. Bombastic and brutal, Place of Chains exists as a unique crossover between worlds, in doing so, Singularity has delivered a powerful album that will surely be ranked among as one of 2019's best death metal releases. The band states that Place of Chains will strongly appeal to fans of Fleshgod Apocalypse, Vale of Pnath, Old Man's Child, Dimmu Borgir, and the first album from Irreversible Mechanism.
*You can listen to an album teaser video for Singularity - Place of Chains HERE
Singularity comments on the release of Place of Chains:-
"Place of Chains is the translation to the song title "Desmoterion" which lyrically illustrates the emotions of being wrongfully imprisoned. Considering that many of the songs on this record lyrically are about enslavement, we felt it was a good over-arching title for the record. We strongly believe that this is the best Singularity record so far. Singularity would also like to thank our guest artists that we had the privilege of having on this record. With every record, we try to further hone in on what the core of Singularity's sound is and what we want to bring to the world of metal."
Stay tuned for more Singularity news, pre-orders, early singles, and more coming soon.
