Italian thrashers Netherblade are back with their first full-length album, "Reborn". Showcasing a ruthless attack of pure thrash metal in its most intense and catchy form, "Reborn" will be released on October 16th 2020 through Dark Hammer Legion/Volcano Records. Having channelled their primal instincts with simple yet effective fare on a couple of singles and an EP in four years, the band on their debut album sound straightforward while occasionally offering some acutely atmospheric and almost progressive moments, bearing comparisons with Exodus, Death Angel, Artillery and even old Machine Head. Netherblade was born from the ashes of Milan's metal band Blindeath in 2016. Shortly after the first rehearsals, Dan, Luca and Simone hired Riccardo Bona as second guitarist and Andrea Ledda for the frontman position. Towards the end of 2016 the band signed to ETN Records and released their debut single, "Thieves' Den", only in digital format on all major platforms and stores. In support of the single, the group also released an official video clip in order to make more waves in the underground circuit. In 2017 Netherblade signed to Vomit Arcanus Prod. and started working on their first EP, "Annihilation of Self", which was released in 2018. To support the EP, the band launched two singles in lyric video and official video clip formats on YouTube, while the whole EP was being released in digital format on all the usual platforms. In 2019 Riccardo left the band and was promptly replaced by Davide: with this line-up, the band entered the studio and started recording the debut album, entitled "Reborn", at the beginning of 2019. The record will be release and distributed via Dark Hammer Legion and Volcano Records. Solidifying a permanent line-up, the band was fully focused on more live performances and started recording the first demo, ''Towards Subterranean Realms'' which came to light on July, 2018 and met significant acclaim. Musically, Ildaruni represents a blend of relentless, intense Black Metal and ancient folk melodies, forgotten from times immemorial. The lyrical themes explore the height of the Urartian domain, through the cognitive machinations of a bygone age and the esoteric apprehension of ancient pagan occultism. The ominous flame now burns stronger and the band is set to unleash its long-waited cryptic incantations. Ildaruni comment's: “We are very excited to announce our new collaboration with Swedish Black Lion Records for the release of our forthcoming album. A new chapter has begun for Ildaruni. We are looking forward to seeing the darkest seeds of our manifestation realized! More information is yet to be revealed!” https://www.facebook.com/Ildaruni/ https://www.instagram.com/ildaruni/ The year 2020 has been a doomsday worshipper’s wild dream and since the woe does not seem to end, Goresoerd has decided to dive into this harsh subject as well. To ease the pain of lacking concerts this year, Goresoerd is more than happy to present the new song already on this Saturday, 05.09, at rock club Tapper in Tallinn. The furious track “Plague” was recorded by Magnus Andre (Talbot) at his Andrerecordings studio. The video was filmed by Ander Kolk at Hard Rock Laager this year and was cut together by Rasmus Tauk. Give it a listen because “nothing will help you, nor the planks on the windows or your cries, nothing will help you.” https://www.facebook.com/goresoerd/ http://www.goresoerd.com/ https://www.instagram.com/Goresoerd/ |
