The Hungarian symphonic metal act, Ideas has released their new official video, "Till the End of Time". This song is their first work together with Anna Király singer, known from the band, Sorronia. The speciality of this video is that Ideas created a unique mix no metal band has used before. They mixed metal sound with Irish folk music and Irish Dance and with this they've created a harmony between the world of metal and Irish step dance. The dancer in the video clip is Barbara Szénási, 2 times European Champion Irish Dancer, Irish Dance teacher, the leader of Barbara Dance Academy. Anna Király also told that the song is based on a personal experience and story. The band will soon release a digital single of "Till the End of Time" which will contain several versions of the song, so it is worth checking their official sites! https://www.facebook.com/IdeasOfficial/ After releasing a successful debut album 'Screaming from the Grave' last year, Icelandic old school death machine Narthraal unleashed a new single 'Baptized in Blood'. WATCH a video from a new track: https://youtu.be/OhPoag2dZqA The band comments:- "We are very happy with how well received our material has been, our EP's, Blood Citadel and Chainsaw Killing Spree, our LP Screaming from the grave and now our single. We have been trying our very best to keep the old school death metal alive and we are very happy to see so many others like ourselves out in the world. Of course we also try to go a little outside the traditional OSDM style, like with our single "Baptized in Blood", we went for a little death / doom motif. It's actually pretty funny, we were just brainstorming various ideas for a new song and then we decided to revisit some very old riffs we each made years ago that never really made sense on their own, but when put together they made complete sense! Then the song title suddenly came to our vocalist when he was in catholic mass, so he sat down and wrote down the lyrics describing a satanic cult performing ritualistic sacrifice. We didn't expect the song to come out so well, but we are very glad that it did! And now we're just brainstorming song after song for our next full length album! We think it's going to be in some ways similar and other ways very different from what we have done so far, and we're looking forward to sharing it with everyone!" "Baptized in Blood" is available on all digital platforms worldwide. The first fruit of this union shall be the band's highly anticipated second album, The Law of Seven Deaths, which will see international release during the first quarter of 2019 on CD and vinyl LP formats. Hailing from Athens, Greece, Akrotheism formed in 2012 to perform violent-yet-experimental black metal which deeply explores matters of esotericism and philosophy. The band's first recording came in 2013 as a split EP with countrymen Order of the Ebon Hand. Emboldened by that momentum, a year later came the band's debut album, Behold the Son of Plagues, which was a shockingly accomplished work for such a young band. Then, in 2015, Akrotheism delivered two tracks to a split release with countrymen Septuagint, which showed an even bolder and more daring vision of black metal. During this time, the band made select festival appearances once a year, playing alongside such esteemed bands as Ofermod, Necros Christos, Acherontas, and Bölzer among others. Now, lying in wait to unveil their boldest and most daring work yet, Akrotheism have been studiously crafting their breakout second album, The Law of Seven Deaths, which will be released under the auspices of Osmose Productions. Both a culmination of all thematic and textural exploits to date as well as new corridors yet unexplored, The Law of Seven Deaths is a veritable labyrinth of beyond-the-drape atmosphere and dizzying, dynamic aggression. The album was mixed and mastered by Stephen Lockhart at Emissary Studio, Iceland - known for Svartidaudi, Sinmara, and Rebirth Of Nefast among others - and will feature guest vocals and chants by Acherontas V. Priest. Verily, The Law of Seven Deaths is the work upon which Akrotheism will be duly judged and found triumphant. A statement from the band reads as thus:- "The Law of Seven Deaths came into existence to provoke those who dare to take the inner journey. The one to the uncontrolled liberation of subconscious energies." Release date to be revealed shortly. Cover art is courtesy of David S. Hererrias. Hellnite is a heavy metal project which was founded in Mexico City in 2010 playing local shows and covering songs of some of the most influential bands of the metal scene around the world. As time went by, the band began taking its own shape and sound. Paolo Belmar is the vocalist, composer and guitar player of the band and one of the three founders of the project. In 2013 after playing a bunch of local shows and maintaining the same line-up for three years Hellnite released their first EP, Manipulator, recorded, produced and released independently by the band members. After the release of Manipulator, the band went through various line-up changes with Paolo always at the core but due to the issues of finding a stable line-up, the groups activity decreased. So at the beginning of 2017, Paolo decided to leave Mexico in order to look for better opportunities in Canada, taking the Hellnite project with him. Arriving in Canada, Paolo started working with Canadian musicians to keep the project alive, and in 2018, things started to come together with the signing to Sliptrick Records. Finally the new full-length album Midnight Terrors is ready for release early next year and Hellnite hope to create an impact with their music around the world. THORIUM is: David Marcelis - vocals (Lord Volture, Black Knight) Tom Tee - guitars (ex Ostrogoth) Dario Frodo - guitars (ex Ostrogoth) Kurk "Stripe" Lawless - bass (ex Ostrogoth) Louis Van der Linden - drums (23 Acez, Vermilion) Given great incentive by their work together in Belgium’s legendary Heavy Metal band Ostrogoth, axemen Dario Frodo, Stripe and Tom Tee found themselves overwhelmed by massive amounts of inspiration for new material, much of which proved to lie too much outside the boundaries of what they could rightly realize with Ostrogoth. They decided, therefore, to found a brand new formation through which to channel all these new ideas, and thus Thorium was born. After splitting with Ostrogoth, the three musicians seized the opportunity to devote themselves full-time to Thorium, and with the addition of classically trailed batterist Louis Van Der Linden (23 Acez, Vermilion,...) to the fold, the search was open for a powerful vocalist with a wide range and striking stage presence, which they found in seasoned Dutch singer David Marcelis (Lord Volture, Black Knight,...). With the line-up complete, the band put the finishing touches on their debut album, eponymously titled ‘Thorium’. Influenced by and incorporating elements of all the classic styles of Metal from the past four decades, such as NWOBHM, Power Metal, Progressive Metal, Speed Metal, Bay Area Thrash and of course classic Heavy Metal, Thorium’s members set themselves no boundaries and seek to deliver music that is heavy, melodic, virtuosic, catchy and conceptual. www.thoriumband.com www.facebook.com/Thoriumband Harvest of Death, a division of Signal Rex, sets December 25th as the international release date for Vetala's highly anticipated third album, Retarded Necro Demential Hole. If the raw Portuguese black metal scene has (rightfully) reaped renown or at least reverential infamy, then Vetala's third full-length strike shall be the sonic vomit to ruin everyone's day. For over a decade now, exploring the most depraved and transgressive corners of what black metal can be has marked this duo as nigh-on untouchable. Unrepentantly noisy, accidentally avant-garde, furiously FUCK OFF: although continuing the dark, disgusting work laid down by Black Circle forerunners Irae and Mons Veneris, Vetala have become an idiom unto themselves. And now, with the aptly titled Retarded Necro Demential Hole do the duo abase themselves and bow down before the all-consuming powers of ritual retardation; these four, nameless songs have no reason to exist, if only to rain feces on good taste and any and all conceptions of "black metal." In fact, it's so beyond primitive and artlessly improvisational, so nightmarishly unhinged, one could qualify it as PRE-black metal. Exquisitely twisted as always, clanging and crazed and amorphously wandering into landscapes far too perverse to grasp, Retarded Necro Demential Hole is the final punctuation, the last severed shred of sanity, for Portuguese black metal. This album REALLY isn't for you! The film shows the birth, rise and fall of Afghan heavy metal on the front-line of one of America’s longest wars and follows the members of Afghanistan’s first ever metal band, District Unknown, who put their lives on the line for their music. Moreover, RocKabul features never before seen footage of Kabul and the underground expat party scene, at odds with an extremely conservative society. Executive Producer to the film is Bill Gould, bassist of American rock band Faith No More, he says:- “RocKabul is a fascinating view in an Afghanistan that is rarely seen - from a perspective that anyone who has ever been in a band can relate to. With District Unknown I see the energy and enthusiasm that I had when I just started playing. I got into music because of the feeling of empowerment that it gave me and it is obvious that this is what motivates District Unknown, which is why we connect so well. But then again they are living in a hostile environment - and they are not afraid to do it. They are making it happen. That’s the kind of rock and roll spirit we have to admire.” RocKabul is a coming of age documentary which deals with youth identity and freedom of expression that existed on the precipitous of the fragile city of Kabul. It shows the strength of the human spirit as Afghanistan's first and only metal band, District Unknown, reach out to the disenchanted Afghan youth, the expat community and eventually the outside world. However, by challenging this traditional Islamic republic, District Unknown literally put themselves and their fans in the firing line. The grassroots music movement which encouraged the participation of men and women alike ultimately crumbles under the weight of the conservative society that shadows them. Captured by Australian film-maker, Travis Beard who lived in Kabul for seven years, the film features a side of Afghan life rarely shown in Western media. www.rockabul.com www.argusproductions.org Finnish Melodic Death crew Dead End Finland release third single from their upcoming fourth album25/10/2018 Dead End Finland releases on the 25th of October a third single as an appetizer for the upcoming album on which they are currently working on.
