Reinvention and continuity – Oomph! have been synonymous with self-renewal, pioneer spirit and carefree creativity for almost three decades. Gold and platinum awards, international top chart entries and their number #1 hit single "Augen Auf!" speak for themselves! Hardly a band has ever influenced the German musical scene so deeply and still keeps it heavily fascinated! The trio around CRAP, DERO and FLUX is now ready to release its thirteenth album Ritual. "Our most aggressive, heaviest and darkest album in a while“, singer Dero states truthfully. After the signing with Napalm Records earlier this year, it's time to unveil all album details of their forthcoming Ritual. The band states on Ritual: "We are very happy to introduce you to our new album "Ritual" today! This album contains 100% Oomph!: We wrote, produced and mixed everything in our own recording studio! We used our time in between two tours to get some fresh and very inspiring impact of the recent live experiences and composed the majority of the songs in jam sessions all together. That probably explains why the songs on Ritual are hard, riff-heavy and dark. The album Artwork brilliantly supports the mystical character of our songs and lyrics and leaves plenty of scope for own interpretations." Get a first appetizer of Ritual with the teaser of the upcoming single "Kein Liebeslied" HERE:

Haunting Danish Deathcore crew Hanging The Nihilist unveil music video and single, "Filth"18/11/2018 ‘Filth’ is the first single off of Danish Deathcore band Hanging The Nihilist’s debut EP ‘Crow’. The EP is recorded with Cabal-guitarist and renowned producer Chris Kreutzfeldt and is to be released on January 25th 2019. On this first release the band displays their trademark sound, combining groovy and heavy riffing with captivating synth melodies and some fearsome vocals (watch their lyric video above). Check it out here:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ed8thFuvKqA Vocalist Marc Buch tells us that:- “The title 'Filth' revolves around the emptiness that most of us feel within us. Mankind has always had a tendency to fill this emptiness - the void - with fear and animosity, which in turn, is blindly causing wars and the ruination of society. Instrumentally, the song draws inspiration from the black metal genre, as well as the deathcore genre, with a hint of classical inspiration in the chorus.“ Hanging the Nihilist formed back in 2016. Inspired by like-minded brutal bands such as Angelmaker, A Night In Texas and Make The Suffer, the young collective started working on a release of their own. With ‘Crow’ set to be released on January 25th, the band is aiming to break necks and grind some bones! Zaum is a passage toward the dark realizations of the old world; a monolithic, doomy mantra-based meditative experience forged by bass and drums interwoven with sitar, woodwind, string, and synth textures. Based in New Brunswick, observers experience a tranquil resonance whereby the astral and physical planes can coexist and be understood from a natural perspective. Zaums most recent full-length musical chapter, Eidolon, was released in October of 2016 via I Hate Records. In their few years as an active, touring band Zaum has performed over two-hundred shows including support stints for Voivod, Cauldron, Mars Red Sky, and Bison as well as showcases at Roadburn, Haywire Festival, and Incubate. Zaum is currently composing new material for their next full-length, slated for a spring 2019 release via Listenable. Founded by vocalist Elisa Scarpeccio, guitarist Cristiano Tiberi and keyboardist Claudio Feliziani in 2007, the band — originally known as Blazing Ice — embarked on their journey in the pursuit of sharing their thoughts and feelings about life, and ultimately their art, with the world. With the assistance of professional session bassists and drummers, the trio established themselves on the Italian scene with a string of shows that helped them evolve and refine their craft. Over the course of 20 shows, Last Union presented songs that would eventually make the final cut for their debut album. Strong and positive reactions to their music spurred Scarpeccio and Tiberi on to take the first of many bold steps. The first was to reach out to Kusch, who, after hearing the music, expressed interest in joining the band as a full member rather than just a touring drummer. A similar scenario played out with LePond and Last Union was officially born. The icing on the cake, however, was getting LaBrie to sing on three tracks. Last Union is: Elisa Scarpeccio – Vocals Cristiano Tiberi – Guitars Mike LePond – Bass (Symphony X) Uli Kusch – Drums (ex-Helloween, ex-Masterplan) Feat. The artwork, which is created by Greek artist Maximos Manolis, and the track list can be viewed below. Rotting Christ have reached another peak in their long career that now spans over more than three decades. The Greeks have literally stood the test of time. With a steady core line-up and their well-honed live delivery, Rotting Christ are filling concert halls and reap enthusiastic crowd reactions wherever they go. This demonstration of love from their followers is not just driven by nostalgia as the band has managed to evolve and grow, while staying relevant beyond the classics with their highly acclaimed latest albums such as 'Aealo' (2010), 'Κατά τον δαίμονα εαυτού’ (2013), and 'Rituals' (2016). With the new offering 'The Heretics', Rotting Christ are opening a brand new chapter. With confidence and skills derived from experience, each song represents its own sonic universe. Guitarist and vocalist Sakis Tolis in collaboration with his brother Themis on drums achieve a perfect balance of amalgamating their classic and unique style of riffing and rhythm with exciting new elements sprinkled in to keep their material exciting and fresh. The experience is enhanced by Jens Bogren's equally clear and transparent yet also massive as well as sombre mix and mastering at his widely renowned Fascination Street Studios (Amorphis, Borknagar, Moonspell, Devin Townsend, and many more). Rotting Christ were founded by Sakis Tolis and his brother Themis in the year 1987. Starting out on a basis of death and grind, the Greeks had already embarked on a darker musical journey by the time their debut full-length ‘Thy Mighty Contract’ (1993) was revealed. On the following seven albums covering a ten-year period from 'Non Serviam' (1994) to 'Sanctus Diavolos' (2004), Rotting Christ steadily defined their own distinct style by experimenting with elements from death, heavy, and gothic metal without betraying their black roots. At the same time, the band went from underground heroes to headliner status. With the highly acclaimed ninth album, 'Theogonia' (2007), the Greek stalwarts added an unmistakable native element to their sound, which has remained with them as a signature trademark ever since. Exploring the mythical legacy of cultures around the globe let to Rotting Christ's massively successful latest release, 'Rituals' (2016). With more than 30 years, 13 studio albums, a dozen EPs, singles and split releases, as well as more than 1.250 shows under their belt, 2018 marked the year of 'Their Greatest Spells' (2018), where they musically revisited their exciting legacy to connect their past with the present. Now 'The Heretics' marks another step in the evolution of the Greek masters. Buckle up for a fascinating musical ride through the woes of religious wars, Zoroastrianism and the eternal war between good and evil. Metal at its best! Set for release via Silver Lining Music on February 1st, 2019, the nine songs comprising Lotus are intoxicating, addictive aural therapies, questioning much of today's darkness while juxtaposing them with moments of great escape and hope. Stream / Share Soen's "Rival" At THIS LOCATION Produced by David Castillo and Iñaki Marconi at Ghostward Studios and Studio 6, the album features the first recorded Soen material with newest recruit, Canadian-born guitarist Cody Ford, whilst the centre-point of the album remains those trademark, snap-heavy, progressive Soen riffs. Songs such as "Rival," "Covenant," and "Martyrs" are dissertations on modern societies, fraught with poetic, finitely designed confusion and chaos, yet as the name Lotus suggests, there is still strength, beauty, and purity to be extracted from what at times seems like an endless cycle of human regression. Sample first single, "Rival," at THIS LOCATION. Soen's Lotus will be released on CD, LP, and digital formats. For pre-orders go to THIS LOCATION. Lotus Track Listing: 1. Opponent 2. Lascivious 3. To celebrate the announcement of the new album, the band has premiered the lyric video “False Idols” as the first display of new music. “The song’s about the atrocities operated by a military unit that performed pseudo science in order to prove a point - and failed”, says the vocalist João Mateus, who clearly states “the lyric is a heartfelt tribute to all the victims of war.” Destroyers Of All – 'False Idols' (lyric video) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ho6chwl49XQ Charged with vicious riffs, voracious vocals and ear blasting drums, this record marks a new chapter for the band as it pushes the boundaries of heaviness of their sound more than ever before. As a result, this album is more violent and straight-to-the-point than the previous ones, yet without losing the creative identity that marks the band's music since its inception. The album cover was hand drawn by legendary artist Mark Riddick, who has previously worked with bands such as Arch Enemy, Exodus, Morbid Angel, Mortician, The Black Dahlia Murder, Suffocation and many others. The new album can be pre-ordered at www.destroyersofall.com. Several bundles are available, including different combinations of the album, merchandise and tickets for the presentation show. "The Vile Manifesto" (2019) is the third release of the band after the debut EP "Into the Fire" (2013) and the LP "Bleak Fragments" (2016), both critically acclaimed by specialized media. The band once again chose to record the new album at the Golden Jack Studios in Portugal, also having it mixed and mastered by João Dourado.
