US Progressive Metal pioneers and innovators Psychotic Waltz return with their original line-up for their highly anticipated 5th studio album and first new music in 23 years. Entitled “The God-Shaped Void”, the upcoming new album and InsideOutMusic debut will be released on 14th February, 2020. The first new track taken off “The God-Shaped Void” is being shared today. Check out the album’s opening track “Devils And Angels” in a lyric video by Cloud Music Typography here: https://youtu.be/2u1V8G43ytE Psychotic Waltz commented about “Devils And Angels” as follows: “This was the second song we finished writing for the album, right after “The Fallen”. Brian had some chunky riffs to start with, then we all kind of added our own flavour of spices to it, some of which you can really pick up on headphones. It wound up being a lot more epic than we expected!” The basic tracks for “The God-Shaped Void” were recorded with engineer Ulrich Wild in the band’s home-town of San Diego, then the rest of the recordings at Studio D in Austria and finally the material was mixed/mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Devin Townsend, Fates Warning) at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden. Artwork (as also presented throughout the lyric-video) was created by long-time visual partner Travis Smith (Katatonia, Riverside, Nevermore).

The video can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/668vp2fCbcI The video was directed by Andrea Bignami. Overlaps started in 2017 with the release of 3 singles “Countdown”, “Dreams For Sale” and “On Monday”, produced by Fabio Trentini (Guano Apes, Donots, H -Blockx), and showing the potential of Overlaps in mixing atmospheres of the most classic rock with modern influences. Overlaps played the same year at the Bloodstock Festival in UK and the same year saw them performing at the Treviso Home Festival in Italy. In 2018 Overlaps released their debut album and in autumn the same year they did a European tour with 26 dates, as support to the Finnish band The Rasmus. Overlaps is ready to announce more details of their second album very soon, which will be released via Time To Kill Records. The project is realised with the support of MiBACT and SIAE as part of the initiative “Per Chi Crea”. The year 2020 will be a very promising year as the band has secured an UK tour in April - together with the mighty Serpentyne and Tezaura. Beneath My Sins is a French symphonic metal band created in December 2015 by the guitarist Clement Botz and the singer Emma Elvaston. Former members of Evolvent, they have together taken their first steps in the metal scene and in the musical composition. In March 2017, Beneath My Sins released their first album “Valkyries of Modern Times”, promoted during shows in Belgium with Skeptical Minds and during two European tours shared with the Russian thrash metal band, Pokerface. Quickly perceived as the emerging symphonic metal band of the French scene, Beneath My Sins had the opportunity to tour with the famous Canadian Kobra And the Lotus during their stay in France in June 2018 and Imperial Age in 2019. In September 2018, the band got in contact with Fabio D’Amore, bassist from Serenity. After a few meetings and discussions they all agreed that he would provides his services as a producer to the band. Thanks to this collaboration, the band was able to record under professional conditions and to work with famous names of the music business. Many talented guests such as Matteo Sisti from Eluveitie, Melissa Bonny from Ad Infinitum, Michele Guaitoli from Temperance and Visions of Atlantis and Fabio Lethien Polo from Elvenking also joined the ship for one or more songs. While awaiting the release of the album, the band has worked on an acoustic set warmly welcomed in France. Today the five-piece are pleased to reveal their first album trailer, and also launch all album pre-orders! You can view the trailer here, in which the band discuss their forthcoming album: https://youtu.be/hVMnrs9SkuI All pre-orders for The Death Of Me are now available here: https://www.shrptn.co/polaris When it came time to make their new album, The Death Of Me, the Sydney outfit knew they had a tall order on their hands. Drummer Daniel Furnari states:- “We wanted to walk a line between maintaining what’s defined our band and brought people to our music in the first place, while trying to write for ourselves and keep ourselves interested. Being our second full-length, we knew it was important for us to surprise the listener as well - nobody wants to hear the same record twice. We wanted to give them things they wouldn’t expect, take them to new places, but also for it to be definitively a Polaris record, building on what we’ve been working towards.” Polaris returned to the house in the small Australian South Coast town of Mollymook where they made The Mortal Coil, converting it into a temporary studio. The familiar surrounds acted as something of a refuge after the high-pressure claustrophobia of touring. Accompanying the band was their front of house sound engineer, Lance Prenc, and long-time friend Scott Simpson (of Melbourne band Alpha Wolf), both of whom co-produced the album with the band. They tried a few new approaches to song writing, with tracks such as the anthemic first single, Masochist starting life as a vocal melody, around which the riffs were built, as opposed to the other way around. In the two years since The Mortal Coil, Polaris have embarked on three sold-out headlining tours of Australia, as well as supporting Architects and Parkway Drive around the country; five runs throughout Europe (including a series of arena shows supporting Architects and a slew of high-profile summer festival spots); three separate US tours; not to mention performing at Download Festival in Australia. Somewhere in there, the quintet found time to write The Death Of Me. Polaris announced a UK headline tour last week, in May 2020 with support from label mates Currents and Alpha Wolf, plus Varials. Tickets are on sale now!

This will be the second important Friday the 13th event for the Brazilian veterans lately, after having released their new single and video, off the track "Bride Of Satan", on Friday the 13th of December. But then again, what else can we expect from a band with the charisma, history and aura of Vulcano? "Eye In Hell", the new Vulcano album, will be their 11th in a career spawn of 38 years, and their first in four years. It will be released in CD, LP and digital formats and can be pre-ordered in the following links: https://targetshop.dk/product/volcano-eye-in-hell-lp https://targetshop.dk/product/volcano-eye-in-hell-cd In a time when new bands are born at every minute and meaningless albums are spit forth and back, the simple existence of an entity with the historical depth, aura and attitude of Vulcano is nothing short of amazing. The Brazilian Black / Thrash metal masters are now back to studio album titled “Eye In Hell”, to be released worldwide by Mighty Music on the first quarter of 2020. “Eye In Hell” was produced by Zhema Rodero and Ivan Pelliciotti in O Beco studios, in Curitiba, Brazil, between April and August 2019 and has artwork drawn by Roberto Toderico (Paganizer, Pestilence, Sodom, Tygers Of Pan Tang). Vulcano were one of Brazil's first heavy metal bands of note. Coming into existence some time before (and having no small influence upon) that country's most famous metal export, Sepultura, Vulcano's albums were far too inaccessible to surface above the heavy metal underground with any regularity; and yet, alongside fellow Brazilians Sarcofago, Mutilator, and others, their primal, astoundingly violent blend of black and thrash metal has attained a worldwide cult legend among some of the genre's most extreme practitioners - notably, Norway's feared black metal inner circle of the early '90s. Zhema states that:- “Vulcano has always been a DIY band in essence, since it’s very first album. But for the first time in our almost 39-year career, we signed a record deal with a label with name and focus on Metal. We’re very proud to be now in a roster with renamed artists - some of them created in the same era we did - like Tygers of Pan Tang and Artillery. This union gave us extra motivation and energy to keep going and I believe we still have a lot of albums and shows ahead”. Line-up: Zhema Rodero - guitar Luiz Carlos Louzada - vocals Carlos Diaz - bass Gerson Fajardo - guitar Bruno Conrado – drums http://www.vulcanometal.com/ https://www.facebook.com/VULCANOMETAL/ English death/grind legends Carcass are gearing up to headline the closing night of Metal & Beer Fest: Los Angeles on December 14th. In preparation, the band have released a new single called 'Under The Scalpel Blade' on streaming services today! The track is the band’s first new song in 6 years. 'Under The Scalpel Blade' was recorded during sessions for their upcoming 7th studio album that’s due out in 2020. Jeff Walker about the single: "It’s always difficult trying to decide what new song to expose people to, especially given an absence of nearly seven years???? With that in mind here’s a slow throw away number we cobbled together, and NO the title was NOT plagiarized from the DISORDER album of the same title before you ask!" Stream 'Under The Scalpel Blade': nuclearblast.com/carcass-scalpel Carcass’ new single 'Under The Scalpel Blade' is a taste of what’s to come from the band’s long-awaited 7th full-length album. It follows the release of several classic albums over the years, including Heartwork and Necroticism – Descanting the Insalubrious, and their influence has changed the face of extreme metal with every consecutive release. Whether it was inventing gore-grind (i.e. Reek of Putrefaction, Symphonies of Sickness) or creating the template for melodic death metal (i.e. Heartwork), Carcass have always made records by which bars were set and rules were broken. Upon the band’s dismantling in 1996, fans mourned the loss of the seminal act and longed that the group would return again one day. In 2007, the metal world got its wish as Carcass reformed to play several sold-out reunion shows around the globe. Once again re-motivated to administer a shot of cynicism and infectious riffs into the arm of a sickly metal scene, founding members Bill Steer and Jeff Walker recorded the next chapter of their influential career, 2013’s Surgical Steel. Following the critically acclaimed release, the band toured the world extensively, including recent performances with Slayer on their final world tour. Now the band that broke barriers 25 years ago has returned to the studio to tear them all down again with their 7th record, which will undoubtedly be one of next year’s most anticipated heavy metal albums. CARCASS are: Bill Steer | Guitar Jeff Walker | Bass/Vocals Daniel Wilding | Drums Tom Draper | Guitar facebook.com/OfficialCarcass instagram.com/carcassband twitter.com/CarcassBand youtube.com/user/Carcass The immutable power of the Netherlands' greatest blackened death metal band, God Dethroned, rings true on new album, Illuminati - their most varied material to date. With a cover by Polish master Michał 'Xaay' Loranc (Nile, Evocation), Illuminati is conversant in the tenets of death metal - experimental where it needs to be, and indomitable in spirit. It's the kind of album that will bestow the Dutch heroes with accolades and push them across Europe (first with Obscura - see dates below) and then the rest of the globe (planning for North and South America is under way) throughout 2020. God Dethroned's Henri Sattler checked in with the following comment about Illuminati: "Freemasons, occultists and conspiracy theory enthusiasts pay attention! God Dethroned is back to smack you in the face with our new album called 'Illuminati'. After finishing the World War One trilogy, it was about time to go back to dark side with songs about religion, freemasonry and the occult. Song titles like 'Spirit of Beelzebub', 'Broken Halo', 'Book of Lies' and 'Satan Spawn' leave very little to the imagination as to what to expect from us from a lyrical point of view. But those of you who expected us to go back into a raging frenzy of endless blastbeats and buzzsaw blade guitar sounds better beware. 'Illuminati' is our most varied album to date with a heavy, yet in-your-face type of production. We managed to make our sound bigger and more orchestral than ever before with the use of both atmospheric keyboard parts and many additional vocal parts such as choirs and grunt-on-tone type of vocals. There is a lot to be discovered in the songs of this album because of the many details hidden in the music that will only reveal itself after many listens, and at the same time the tunes on 'Illuminati' are catchier than ever before. Lovers of Rhandy Roads-meets-Marty Friedman type of melodic guitar solos should definitely give Dave Meester's spectacular leads a listen. Dave was welcomed to the band's line-up during the European tour with Belphegor and Suffocation and stayed within our ranks ever since. Former guitar player Mike Ferguson however contributed greatly to 'Illuminati' by writing several stunning songs and riffs as well as recording half of all the rhythm tracks on the album. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours." On February 7th, God Dethroned will release their new full-length, Illuminati, via Metal Blade Records. For a preview of Illuminati, a clip for the album's title track (a first of three interconnected short movies) can be viewed at: metalblade.com/goddethroned - where the record can also be pre-ordered in the following formats:

Their debut single "We" is an excellent introduction to this new, original metalcore band. Aggressive and frenetic, The Luminary Plot is hoping their first offering will be well received by listeners, as they explain: “We are hoping this song leaves listeners hungry for more. With “We”, the band comes out swinging with aggressive, driving instrumentals and swing back and forth into a more floaty feeling chorus, there is plenty to keep people engaged and hopefully show that we do not intend to be a one-dimensional band!” The Luminary Plot rose from the ashes of another band that guitarists Jesse Kopala and Kade Wolfe were in, and the end of that project gave them the time and determination to start something with a different focus, moving from a melodic death/metalcore to a dynamic, post-hardcore inspired sound. Bringing a tight and crushing live show to the audience is of utmost importance to the band and they are looking forward to sharing their brutal and beautiful music with fans around the world. The Luminary Plot is suggested for fans of Norma Jean, Dead and Divine, and Darkest Hour. Watch the lyric video for "We" on TheCirclePit's YouTube HERE along with it streaming on Spotify. Samuele Casari stated: “I am a big fan of Mad Max and I am very happy to play in a post-apocalyptic band like Revolutio.. Hope to see you soon at our gigs!!!” The drummer Davide Pulito added: “Samuele struck us immediately to be a technically gifted and determined musician at the same time. It is a pleasure to work with people like him.” The band is currently working on the set-list based on the album Vagrant, recently released via Inverse Records. A play-through video is now available where to see Samuele Casari in action. To celebrate the release, the band unveils the official lyric video of the title track. The video has been created by Stefano Mastronicola. Bass player and author of the lyrics, Alessio Sessa, states: - "One day we could be rejected and lose our freedom. Our freedom of speech or simply of being alive. We risk to fall down in the dark.
