Chicago based Blackened Death Thrashers Beyond Deth have signed a two year deal with Vargheist Records (USA). Vargheist will be re-releasing Beyond Deth's first album "The Age Of Darkness" in July of 2019 as well as their sophomore effort in 2020. Vargheist already has a unique roster that seems to be growing quite quickly and Beyond Deth's multi genre traits should be a solid fit.
"Velvet Noise", the debut album for what was to become one of biggest metal exports from Denmark - Raunchy - will be reissued in vinyl for the first time. But it won't be a "regular" reissue. The record was remastered by Henrik West at Medley Studios (Copenhagen) and will be available in orange vinyl, gatefold edition, limited to 500 copies. The release date is April 12th, 2019.
"A completely convincing mixture of Fear Factory, Strapping Young Lad and Machine Head, Denmark's Raunchy are easily the country's best-kept secret and possibly one of the finest European “modern metal” bands I have heard in quite some time".
In 2001, as one can easily understand from Blabbermouth's Borivoj Krgin words, the world went crazy with Raunchy's debut album, "Velvet Noise".
The band comments:-
"We knew that we were something different to the Danish Metal scene back then. We had a much more alternative approach on how we wanted metal music and our music to sound so we knew that we might get “slaughtered” when the reviews would start to tick in. I mean just our brand name Raunchy has no “metal” feel/meaning to it, so that was definitely a thing we knew would be “uphill”.
Also the fact that we pretty much looked like a typical generic band from the Britpop “heydays” of Blur, Suede, Oasis, Radiohead, The Verve etc. was another obstacle - but we couldn’t care less".
Raunchy soon took off, signed a deal with Nuclear Blast and went touring the world. "Velvet Noise", however, was the beginning of it all and will remain as one of the most successful debut albums from a Danish band ever.

"The Dark Side of The Stories"
Available on :
Kliodna is a 5 member melodic-symphonic metal band from Minsk, Belarus.
Like most bands, Kliodna has made some line-up changes, notably the departure of lead singer Helena Wild in the summer of 2016 due to health concerns. But she was quickly replaced by the outstanding operatic soloist Natalia Senko who has helped the band carry on with a smooth transition! Kliodna has ranked number 1 on Reverbnation’s Metal Charts for their country of Belarus for many months now! Kliodna signed a distribution contract with the label WormHoleDeath Records and have released their debut album called: “The Dark Side of the Stories“ with them along with their latest single: "Fly Far Away" in September 2017. Kliodna are going to perform at various Metal Fests during the summer of 2018 and are also in the process of recording their second album, hopefully to be released in 2019 !
Australia's Lost In Separation announces re-release of "Sister Moon"; premieres "Deathwish" music video
Metalcore quartet Lost In Separation has announced the re-release of their 2017 debut album, Sister Moon. Set to release July 13th via Pale Chord, the record contains all eight original tracks, as well as three new tracks.
Vocalist, Garrett Parsa comments:-
"I can say without a doubt that we could not be more proud of “Sister Moon”. I wrote songs about battling personal demons, the critical state of the human condition, not giving up on life, and against all odds; finding beauty in disparity. My hope is that the dark subject matter would challenge the listener to try to make the world around them a better place."
Along with the announcement, the band has released a new music video for the third track off the upcoming release titled, "Deathwish".
"I’m very excited for everyone to finally see our video for 'Deathwish'. The song symbolizes my journey of finding hope and compassion in a world that is otherwise cruel and unforgiving. It’s about the balance between life and death. While the topics reflect negative aspects of the world around us, the song is meant to encourage others to realize that it is not too late to change, and it’s not too late to stand up for what is right." says Parsa.
Pre-order bundles are available via LMTD and can be purchased HERE. Watch the new music video for "Deathwish" here:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdp0A_XE30w

Brazilian legends Sepultura release 'Arise: Expanded Edition' on vinyl and CD on June 15th through Rhino
Sepultura hit their stride in 1991 when the Brazilian quartet released their acclaimed fourth record ‘Arise’. Certified Platinum based on worldwide sales, the album includes indispensable thrash/death metal tracks like ‘Under Siege (Regnum Irae)’ and ‘Dead Embryonic Cells’. Rhino will revisit this raucous classic with a remastered version of the original album that’s been expanded with rare and unreleased studio and live recordings. ‘Arise: Expanded Edition’ will be released on June 15th as a double-disc set. A double-LP version that features an abbreviated track listing will be available on the same day. The music will also be available digitally and via streaming services.
In 1983, brothers Max and Igor Cavalera founded Sepultura. Paulo Xisto Pinto Jr. joined soon after, and Andreas Kisser later joined as lead guitarist, rounding out the band’s earlier line-up. They have since sold nearly 20 million albums worldwide, including more than three million in the United States.
Following the breakthrough success of 1989’s ‘Beneath The Remains’, the band regrouped in Florida to record ‘Arise’ with producer Scott Burns. Thrash and death metal were the album’s primary sources of inspiration, but tracks like ‘Desperate Cry’ revealed the band’s love for hardcore punk, while the tribal rhythms of ‘Altered State’ foreshadowed a new direction the band would explore on future albums.
‘Arise: Expanded Edition’ features a newly remastered version of the original album along with 28 bonus tracks. Many of those have never been released, including an industrial remix of ‘Dead Embryonic Cells’, ‘Meaningless Movements’ from an August 1989 writing session, and a cover of Motorhead’s ‘Orgasmatron’.
Previously unreleased highlights from the second disc include a version of ‘Infected Voice’ from writing sessions that took place in March 1990, as well as basic tracks for ‘Murder’, ‘Altered State’ and more. The disc also features the CD debut of eight concert recordings originally released on the band’s first home video, ‘Under Seige (Live In Barcelona)’, including ‘Arise’, ‘Dead Embryonic Cells’ and ‘Beneath The Remains’.
To fit onto a double-LP, the vinyl version of ‘Arise: Expanded Edition’ features a condensed track-listing. It includes the 2018 remastered version of the original album, along with a selection of ten bonus tracks from the CD set.

And of course, there is “No rest for the wicked”, as Jinjer will be heavily touring around Europe with the mighty Arch Enemy for the second leg of their tour in February 2018.
But for now – let’s get an exclusive look at their upcoming release of their game changing second studio album “Cloud Factory” - originally released back in 2014. Now it’s time for a Reissue with full sound, huge guitars, more boom and two exclusive live tracks!
Read what the band has to say and check out album artwork, track listing including bonus tracks and available formats below:
"When we wrote this record, little did we know how many doors it would open and where it would lead us to. From the our first shows to our first European tours and all the friends we made in between- Cloud Factory changed the future of Jinjer for the better and we haven’t looked back since… the record is very personal to us because it’s deeply inspired by the spirit of our homeland, the industrial east of Ukraine. Making it available to a wider audience is a perfect way to show what and who we are!“

Oh wow! Back in 2008, Alestorm were mere newcomers and beginners - and yet they created a modern metal classic and a completely new subgenre. Captain Morgan`s Revenge marks the birth of Pirate Metal as we know it today and turned a couple of young Scotsmen into the hottest band the modern metal scene has to offer! Ten years later and sold-out shows all over the world, their boozy debut gets its well-deserved anniversary treatment and will be re-released on January 26th 2018 with Napalm Records!
Captain Morgan`s Revenge – 10th Anniversary Edition has received a fresh remix and remastering by original producer Lasse Lammert at his LSD studios and will be coming with a rejuvenated artwork. Alongside the 'Live At Summer Breeze' bonus disc, this re-release will be a true gem for all collectors, new fans and nostalgics alike!
The pirates about their upcoming Anniversary Edition:
"Oh wow! Can't believe it's been 10 years already since we made this record. We were all terrible musicians back then, and it was only thanks to the immense skill of our producer Lasse Lammert that we managed to salvage a passable bunch of songs. But anyway, it seems a bunch of you people seemed to like this album, so we decided to give it a bit of spit and polish for the 10th anniversary. NO, this is not one of those shitty 'brickwall' remasters that some bands do, and NO, this is not a re-recording by a bunch of disinterested and jaded old musicians. We've taken the original multitrack source material from 10 years ago (bad playing, cheap keyboards, awful vocals and everything), and just re-mixed the whole album to be punchier, tighter, more dynamic, and more sonically delightful than before. You probably won't even notice the difference! But it's there. And it'll sound awesome on vinyl, for the first time ever!"
Captain Morgan`s Revenge – 10th Anniversary Edition, coming as CD digi pack, LP gatefold and digital download, is now available for pre-order HERE!

Formed in the year 2000 as a studio project and then as a regular live-band six years later, Devilish Impressions from Poland is a dominant Black Death metal band that’s quickly pummelling through the genre and making their way to fans and media around the globe.
After already having released their 2012 third studio album “Simulacra” with Lifeforce Records we are very happy to welcome back Devilish Impressions to the Lifeforce Records roster for the release of their new album “The I”, which is set to come out in late September.
“I’m thrilled to work with Devilish Impressions again to hopefully push the band to the next level. The guys in the band are dedicated hard workers. They know exactly what they want, what is needed to reach their goal and their new album is very big step forward musically. I truly believe we can turn some heads with “The I”! - comments Lifeforce Records owner Stefan Lüdicke.
The title chosen, “The I”, for the record is not only a phonetic acronym of the band’s name, but above all it reflects the manifesto they stand for since the Horde’s inception in the year 2000 – the notion of freedom of choice and will. A supremacy of an individual over any external factors being imposed on us by others, with special emphasis on religion and its convictions, dogmas and paradigms. “The I” is a rebellious manifesto targeted against all those who stand opposed to anything that drives us towards individual perfection.
"The I" is out September 2017.
