Hot on the heels of announcing their upcoming tour of Asia, South Australian metal band Shatter Brain have just released a video clip for the song ‘Discard’. This video documents the band’s tour of Australia and New Zealand, which they undertook between February and April of this year. The footage was compiled and edited by Ando Media Services and comprises bootleg live footage, as well as the bands own footage that documents some of the more fun, funny, and embarrassing moments of the tour.

Discard is the final track on the band’s four-song demo, aptly titled ‘The Shatter Brain Demo’, which was released in January 2018. 7th is the new album by Brazilian Heavy/Thrash/Death Metal band DROWNED and will be released on June 15 via Greyhaze Records, under license from Brazil's Cogumelo Records. Two new singles from the album are now available. Stream 'em both below!
"Rage Before Some Hope" - youtu.be/K-uQpDHAgW0
"Murder, Sex, Hate and More" - youtu.be/Qgs5XvklY9c
The band's almost 20-year career is synthesized on the album's 11 tracks, which showcase a varied and unique style of Heavy Metal that recalls the different styles of bands like Amorphis, Nevermore, Anthrax and Bolt Thrower.
On 7th, which as the title implies is the band's seventh release, Drowned seeks new horizons, while preserving and refining the band's most treasured musical essence of traditional Heavy Metal songs built into a Death/Thrash Metal twin-guitar attack! The musical onslaught serves as backdrop to lyrics that lay bare thoughts of sickened and deranged visions, injustice and gratuitous violence. In other words: notions that are unfortunately a reality of life in South America's biggest nation.
Brazilian thrash commando unit Nervosa is synonymous with raw aggression and untamed power!
“Downfall Of Mankind” is the upcoming masterpiece by this outstanding combo which will be released on June 1st via Napalm Records. Today a new song sees the light of day: Please get ready to “Kill The Silence”!
Guitarist Prika comments on the new song and video:
“A perfect scenery to compose lyrics that encourage overcoming. It talks about things that hurt you and that you’re not alone. This new video symbolizes a new phase in the band with which I identify myself 100%!"
"I like the idea of using fire in the video, because i think the symbology has everything to do with the message in the song. Fire represents renewal and mainly purification, and using it in the video really gives me the idea of triumph, overcoming and moving on!” adds Fernanda.

The video is again directed by LURINGA, the same company that produced "Hostages"!

Osmose Productions have set June 29th as the international release date for The Evil, the highly anticipated debut album of Brazilian evil doom band The Evil.
Evidence of evil on the face of the earth has never been so present. Every day, thousands are killed, tortured, raped, and robbed… The greed of politicians, the perversion of the sadists, the indifference of the drug dealers, the falsehood of the priests, the wrath of the killers… Daily examples that the doom is near!
Maybe a bomb will do the service… Maybe an epidemic…. Maybe our addictions… Maybe our own hands! A barren land will be left for the cancerous who dare to survive…
And as long as the devastation and desolation consume the insignificant lives of the human race being extinguished, the sound of the Apocalypse will be propagated by the four horsemen of The Evil: Miss Aileen (all voices, screams and whispers), Iossif (distortions and screech noises), Theophylactus (bass fuzz), and Saenger (drums and percussions).
In the leadup to its physical release, The Evil's self-titled debut is currently streaming at Osmose Productions' website HERE. Additionally, view the previously revealed video for "Screams" at Osmose's website HERE
Approaching the release of their new and eagerly awaited album, ‘7th’, Brazil's Drowned are presenting their new lyric video ‘Violent March of Chaos’. The video was created by vocalist Fernando Lima and his design company The Most Destructive Art and beautifully captures the track's heavy and complex tone.

‘7th’, as the name suggests, is the band's seventh studio album and will be released on June 15, 2018 in Brazil by Cogumelo Records and in the United States by Greyhaze Records. The album was self recorded and produced by the band along with mixing and mastering by guitarist Marcos Amorim.
Drowned previously released their single ‘Rage Before Some Hope’, which can be heard on the following platforms:
Formed in 1998 in the city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Drowned soon became one of the most respected names in the Brazilian scene and during that time became one of the most prolific bands in the country. With a mix of death, thrash and heavy metal, the band stood out from the pack and released six of the best albums that Brazil has ever produced. After their most recent work, ‘Belligerent Part I – The Killing State of the Art’ in 2012, the group focused on playing live while composing the seventh album.
Brazilian metalcore band L.I.E. (Letters Into Eternity) have posted their new music video ‘Into The Flames’. The video was directed by L.I.E. guitarist Felipe Nothen and features Brazilian actress Jessica Biazin who also collaborated on production. The track talks about personal problems, addictions, loss of hope and anguish.
Watch 'Into The Flames' at the following link: https://youtu.be/WB0PCcUi58o
L.I.E. is preparing to release a follow up video in May.
The band comments:
“We chose not to release a CD at this time, instead we will be releasing songs continuously throughout the first half of this year.”
L.I.E (Letters Into Eternity) was founded in 2017 and is comprised of Rodrigo Longhi (Vocals), Felipe Nothen (Guitar), Piter Fontana (Bass), and Lucas Rodrigues (Drums). The band has a wide variety of influences from American and European bands, and produces a melodic sound with clean vocals and heavy guitars. Lyrically, the band portray the modus operandi of people in a world where we all are opinion makers, where everyone has access to everything, where everyone gets depressed and everyone suffers.
Brazilian legends Sepultura release 'Arise: Expanded Edition' on vinyl and CD on June 15th through Rhino
Sepultura hit their stride in 1991 when the Brazilian quartet released their acclaimed fourth record ‘Arise’. Certified Platinum based on worldwide sales, the album includes indispensable thrash/death metal tracks like ‘Under Siege (Regnum Irae)’ and ‘Dead Embryonic Cells’. Rhino will revisit this raucous classic with a remastered version of the original album that’s been expanded with rare and unreleased studio and live recordings. ‘Arise: Expanded Edition’ will be released on June 15th as a double-disc set. A double-LP version that features an abbreviated track listing will be available on the same day. The music will also be available digitally and via streaming services.
In 1983, brothers Max and Igor Cavalera founded Sepultura. Paulo Xisto Pinto Jr. joined soon after, and Andreas Kisser later joined as lead guitarist, rounding out the band’s earlier line-up. They have since sold nearly 20 million albums worldwide, including more than three million in the United States.
Following the breakthrough success of 1989’s ‘Beneath The Remains’, the band regrouped in Florida to record ‘Arise’ with producer Scott Burns. Thrash and death metal were the album’s primary sources of inspiration, but tracks like ‘Desperate Cry’ revealed the band’s love for hardcore punk, while the tribal rhythms of ‘Altered State’ foreshadowed a new direction the band would explore on future albums.
‘Arise: Expanded Edition’ features a newly remastered version of the original album along with 28 bonus tracks. Many of those have never been released, including an industrial remix of ‘Dead Embryonic Cells’, ‘Meaningless Movements’ from an August 1989 writing session, and a cover of Motorhead’s ‘Orgasmatron’.
Previously unreleased highlights from the second disc include a version of ‘Infected Voice’ from writing sessions that took place in March 1990, as well as basic tracks for ‘Murder’, ‘Altered State’ and more. The disc also features the CD debut of eight concert recordings originally released on the band’s first home video, ‘Under Seige (Live In Barcelona)’, including ‘Arise’, ‘Dead Embryonic Cells’ and ‘Beneath The Remains’.
To fit onto a double-LP, the vinyl version of ‘Arise: Expanded Edition’ features a condensed track-listing. It includes the 2018 remastered version of the original album, along with a selection of ten bonus tracks from the CD set.

Season of Mist are proud to announce the signing of Mystifier. The Brazilian black metal underground stalwarts will release their long anticipated next album through the label.
Mystifier comment: "We have spend 29 years on the road and 17 years without releasing an album. Finally, we have signed a deal for a new record with one of the biggest labels of extreme music. We were introduced to Season of Mist boss Michael Berberian during our European tour, 'Bloodshed Rituals 2016' with Rotting Christ, but we never imagined becoming a part on such a select roster. We expect our alliance will prove beneficial for all parties involved and we extend our gratitude to every fan, producer, photographer, sound and light engineer, fanzines, record label, tour manager, and everybody else, who took part of our long underground history. Towards infinity!"
European tour dates in autumn have already been announced. Exact dates and final artwork will be published soon. Please see below for a preliminary schedule.
Mystifier were formed by lead guitarist and bassist Beelzeebubth, Lucifuge Rofocale on drums, guitarist Behemoth, and vocalist Meugninousouan in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil in 1989. The band created an aggressive, fast, and malignant sound within the classic black metal style, which makes them veterans of their scene.
A first demo tape, which was entitled 'Tormenting the Holy Trinity' came out in November 1989 and secured the band several shows at home and all over Brazil. Their 7" debut single 'The Evil Ascension Returns' as well as a second demo, entitled 'Aleister Crowley' let to widespread underground recognition for Mystifier in 1990.
Mystifier's debut full-length, 'Wicca' was already released worldwide in 1992 and the Brazilians managed to cement their reputation with each following record and accompanying tour. 'Göetia' hit the streets in 1993, 'The World Is So Good That Who Made It Does not Live here' followed in 1996, 'Profanus' came out in 2001. In the wake of their release of the deluxe box 'Baphometic Goat Worship' (2008), Mystifier performed at the NWN Festival ll in Berlin, Germany and several other festivals around the globe.
In the passing of time, Mystifier underwent some radical line-up changes. Vocalist Leandro Kastyphas was replaced by the exceptional Diego Sorcerer Do’Urden from Infested Blood. Drummer Alex Rocha (Poisonous) handed his sticks over to Edward WarMonger (formerly of Medicine Death), who brought much experience and maturity to the group's compositions. Having wrecked stages throughout South and North America, Europe and and other places with several sold-out shows during the 'Bloodshed Rituals' tour in support of Rotting Christ, Mystifier are currently focusing on their forthcoming new album, which is ear-marked for release in 2018
Armand Bäelzeebubth: lead guitar, backing vocals
Diego Sorcerer Do’Urden: vocals, keyboards, bass guitar
Edward Warmonger: percussion
