Science fiction-influenced electronic progressive metal band Mytra is going to release the follow-up to their long awaited 2014 debut album early February via Nail Records. The second full-length, titled “Logos” contains 11 brand new songs featuring ethereal synthesizers, electronic melodies and effects with diverse vocal performances. Check out the lyric video for the first song “N.I.R.A.” which is now available for streaming on the link below! Mytra - N.I.R.A. (Official lyric video) - youtu.be/E4hCTS8BI_g Guitarist/vocalist Róbert Hocza had this to say about the new song: “The new song, “N.I.R.A” is about the symbiosis of human beings and machines, which is not so much of science fiction any more as there has been numerous experiences where the connection between the human brain and machines controlled by them have proven to be successful. In the near future the digital gadgets on our tables, in our pockets and hands will become parts of our bodies and will serve us expanding our comfort zones as our stationary helpers. This technological advancement will however most probably going to strike the killing blow to the already dying social interactions and connections, so humanity enters a new historical age: the cycle of digital solitude is about to begin.” With “Logos” MYTRA claim to have taken a much more direct and straightforward approach to the songs, making them their heaviest and most compact one to date. Beside the usual female lead vocals and vocoder, this time the album also features male growled vocals. Just like the debut album, the recording, mixing and mastering of “Logos” took place in the home studios of the band members over a one year period. The band commented on the new album by saying:- "5 years after “Beta” we’ve completed work on the follow-up of the debut album, “Logos” is it’s direct successor and it is now finally ready to be unleashed! Over the last few years the band went through many changes both music and line-up-wise, but the overall atmosphere and sound remained the same. We don’t want to make anyone get lost in the maze of over-complicated genre definitions, so it’s up to each of you to call this material what you feel like it is.” Mytra Line-up: Viktória Hocza - vocals, keyboards Róbert Hocza - vocals, guitars István Bidlek - guitars Roland Lovas - bass Tamás Tóth - drums www.facebook.com/MytraOfficial/ www.facebook.com/HammerMusicHungary/

The result is a searing new single, "Soul Seeker," streaming now at unfd.lnk.to/SoulSeeker. On the new song, lead singer Kenta Koie shares:- "This song was born right before we started writing our newest album EX_MACHINA. This song is about a human who is looking for the reason why he Iives his life, and it relates to the theme of EX_MACHINA too." This past summer, Crossfaith released, EX_MACHINA, out now via UNFD and streaming on Spotify and Apple Music. A fast-paced and blistering adventure that transports listeners to a dystopian future, EX_MACHINA features cameos from Enter Shikari frontman Rou Reynolds and industrial hip hoppers Ho99o9. It can be purchased online at: unfd.lnk.to/ex_machina. A concept album set in an alternative near future, EX_MACHINA explores a story in which the ruling class, known as Angels, maintain their world through artificial intelligence and other technology. The efforts dehumanise people and effectively turn them into drones - as explained in the opening title track, "Deus Ex Machina." The other 12 songs featured on the album represent the voice of the resistance - in the form of underdogs known as Demons. Kenta was inspired to include these figures by Devilman Crybaby, particularly on the Slipknot-esque "Catastrophe," the frantic, blood-curdling "The Perfect Nightmare," and the epic assault of "Daybreak," rather than because they wanted to provide a comment on religion. "There's no particular religious message," clarifies Ken. "In order to explore the dualism of humans, we decided to include Angels and Demons, which are opposing elements just like fire and water." "Angels aren't necessarily good and demons aren't necessarily bad," he explains. "The most important theme is that we should never stop questioning the world around us." EX_MACHINA is a relentless album that strives for the listener's attention, and is unquestionably the heaviest that Crossfaith have put their name to since forming in their native Osaka in 2006. Since their inception, Crossfaith have been on the edge of a fusion of rock, metal, electronica and big ideas on their albums; and the edge of euphoria with their live shows. EX_MACHINA is the album on which they walk that fine, fiery line more skillfully and seismically than ever. The band BrightDelight, founded in early 2017, is one of the brightest young representatives of the Russian metal scene. After releasing their debut album Let’s Make It Real and the first few concerts in Moscow, the band quickly gained fans, the number of which is growing every day. Many, including the band themselves, noted that it is difficult to uniquely determine the style of their music. Nevertheless, opinions converge on such definitions as metal core with electronic. At the core of the songs are lyrical electronics – party synths, the contrast between clean and extreme vocals. Instruments, in turn, add density to the sound and accents. But the group and fans alike, the most important aspect of their work is the indescribable atmosphere and drive of the band’s live performances. Over the past year, BrightDelight have expanded the geography of their performances, visiting Kaluga and St. Petersburg. Also, during the year, they successfully passed through all stages of the international music festival “Emergenza”. In the final show, the performance was evaluated positively by the members of the international jury and the organizers of the festival and at the end of the contest, BrightDelight were voted in the TOP 30 best bands of Russia. Expect news soon of the groups plans with Sliptrick Records …we’re expecting a “bright” future!
