Finnish melodic metal band Lilli releases the third single from the upcoming second album on Thursday 12th of May. The song titled Elude is a heavy sounding but still wistful story of giving one’s all but still to be left with nothing. Elude following the two earlier single releases - Limits of Life and Manflake - continues the musical development leaning towards heavier sounds compared to the band’s first album Awful Hits for Women (2020). Vocalist Lily Black sums it up:- ”The lyrics are about trial and error in a relationship, about giving all you got to someone but still just not being enough. Eventually one is forced to give up and let go, but still the doubt remains: did I try hard enough or could I have given it more effort?" Guitarist Teemu Harjunen and bassist Sami Halinen comment on the song:- "Elude differs from other our songs because the basic structure was created almost two years ago but the finishing took time. The chorus especially took a lot of work and we ground it to the point of tiring. We put the song on the shelf for a while and got back to working on it in the beginning of 2022 as we were working on the second album. Suddenly it all just clicked and the released version also includes a synthesizer bringing wideness to the sound. The song is very nice to play and as an upbeat song it works great in live shows as well”
The song has been recorded in the group’s bassist Sami Halinen’s home studio in Nakkila Mixing was done by Sami Niittykoski (SN-Audio Production) and mastering Alho Audio Mastering. LILLI is a melodic rock and metal playing band founded in February 2019 from Pori, Finland. Band line-up on Elude single:

Following the release of their highly anticipated studio album Requiem via Loma Vista Recordings in February, Korn shares a new video for the next single "Worst Is on Its Way". The Craig Bernard and Culley Bunker-directed visual shows the band's high energy performance of the song in greyscale as individual members of the band are decomposed into animated particles with a series of visual effects. The 9-track album features the hit single "Start the Healing," which peaked at #1 on the Active Rock chart, in addition to the previously released tracks "Forgotten," which Rolling Stone described as "explosive" and "Lost In The Grandeur," which dropped as a final taste of Requiem just a few days before the record's release. Recently described by GQ as "bold and iconoclastic" and released to high acclaim including recent features on the covers of Revolver and King Kong magazines, Requiem is produced by Korn and Chris Collier. Energized by a new creative process free of time constraints, the band was able to do things with Requiem that the past two decades haven't always afforded them, such as taking additional time to experiment together or diligently recording to analogue tape - processes which unearthed newfound sonic dimension and texture in their music. Additionally, Korn is slated to take their live show across a worldwide run of headline festival and amphitheater tour dates kicking off this summer and running into the fall. The extensive tour begins with a headline performance at Daytona Beach's Welcome To Rockville festival before kicking off EU/UK dates in Amsterdam on May 25th. The tour will see stops in Berlin, London, Stockholm, Budapest and more before returning stateside for dates in Denver, Charlotte, Dallas, Boise and others. Tickets are currently available for purchase HERE. Hagne is all about purity and virtue. One can only hope that everyone has at least one person in their life, who passes on the idea of good morals and kindness for the next generation. The song starts off with a beautiful Disney - style intro which transforms into a vibrant symphonic rock interpretation accompanied with vocals by Enni Rautiainen and Samuli Rimmi. Krzysztof Dobosiewicz is responsible for the exquisite arranging of the orchestrations. Composing and lyrics are from the pen of Samuli.

https://www.facebook.com/dreamferno https://www.instagram.com/dreamferno/ Finnish love metal pioneer, Ville Valo, will release new single, "Loveletting," on April 8 under the VV banner. "Loveletting" is taken from VV's forthcoming debut album Neon Noir. He explains, "As fun as the funeral rites for HIM were, it took me more than a few moons to lick my wounds in the shadow of the Heartagram and come up with an excuse to strum and hum again. Eventually, I decided to put a leash on my beloved black dog and we started howling together instead of barking at each other. That's how 'Loveletting' was born." "Loveletting" will be made available across all digital platforms from midnight (local time) tonight. An official video clip will follow tomorrow 11am ET here. VV's debut album Neon Noir is scheduled for release in early 2023; belonging to the same forlorn world of woe and whimsy once conceived and governed by Valo in HIM, VV arrives with additional nuanced notes of a fine aged Cabernet. Valo adds, "Artistically speaking, the main difference between HIM and VV is the extra line in the Heartagram, but what an exquisite line it is! It's the Mamas and the Papas dressed up as Metallica on their way to a Halloween bash at the Studio 54, and now who wouldn't want to witness that?" Further details around Neon Noir will be released in due course. In the meantime, fans are invited to any number of VV's headline tour dates taking place next year across Europe, the UK, and North America. Naturally starting in Helsinki, Finland, the 2023 extensive run reaches the UK in March, before heading to America come April. U.S. tickets will be available for purchase from Friday, April 15 at 10am local time. NORTH AMERICAN 2023 TOUR DATES:
https://www.facebook.com/theheartagram Finnish melodic metallers Dark The Suns drop first single from their upcoming fifth studio album31/3/2022 Finnish melodic metal band Dark The Suns is set to release their yet unnamed fifth studio album later in 2022 via Inverse Records. The first single 'Kun Aallot Kallioihin Murtuu' is released today. Mikko Ojala commets: "Kun Aallot Kallioihin Murtuu is the first single from our 5th album. The song speaks about sorrow and grief and how some day you will have to forget and move on with your life." Listen to Kun Aallot Kallioihin Murtuu single on:
In 2005 Dark the Suns was founded by Mikko Ojala. In 2006 the band grew when three new members (bass player Inka, Juha on the keyboards and drummer Markus) joined the band, which signed with Firebox Records that same year. During 2007-2010 Firebox Records released the band’s three full-length albums (In Darkness Comes Beauty, All Ends in Silence and Sleepwalking in a Nightmare). The band performed many live shows during these years. There have been some changes in the line-up over the years, but Mikko and Inka have been continuously together, making music. The band was inactive for 2013-2020 but in 2020 Mikko and Inka decided to resume making music together. It was a really natural way to continue the band as a duo, because they have written almost all the band’s music and lyrics during all these years. In 2020 and 2021 Inverse Records released four singles from the band’s 4th album Suru Raivosi Sydämeni Pimeydessä. The album includes ten songs of melancholic and melodic Finnish metal music. The band has always described their music as ”Beautiful piano melodies and dark vocals”. Fifth studio album is set to be released later in 2022 via Inverse Records. Without Warning keeps evolving as they release their second single “Insanity” via Inverse Records. The band is slowly forming their identity as a new band in the scene and they’ve decided to take a darker turn with their new single. “Insanity” is definitely taking things up a notch as it is an quite unexpected piece after the lighter first single “Delusion” with accompanied blue neon lights. As we hear darker and heavier elements with the instruments, we’re also surprised to hear the vocalist Micha let out some unheard grunts beside her lighter tunes. “Our second single “Insanity” is definitely going to paint our identity clearer and this is the route we’ve decided to continue on as we grow with the band. I’ve always been a fan of darker sounds and horror aspects, so I’m obviously super excited to have that incorporated.” says Micha. The single has a clear storyline and gets more intense the further you go, without forgetting the heavy electronic elements. A strong second single which is definitely worth listening to. Finnish melodic metal crew Numento unveil new single 'Hadal Ground'; new album drops later this year3/3/2022 Helsinki based progressive melodic metal band with extreme metal Influences Numento is releasing their second album later this year. The first single from the upcoming album is now released! "Hadal Ground" is inspired by the Greek god of the underworld. The song is about a dark parallel reality, a crooked version of our world, that is ruled by the empress of the dead accompanied by nightmarish creatures that prey on human minds. The origin of Numento dates back to 2004. That year a few schoolmates from eastern Helsinki decided to start playing instruments. And of course before anyone had learned a single chord it felt mandatory to also form a band. A metal band. During the following years the band changed its name a couple times. It wasn’t until late 2010 when the band decided to change its name for the last time. The name Numento was chosen after a long night. The line-up has had few changes after that, but it was that time that the band started to find it's own sound that you can still recognize in their music. Listen to "Hadal Ground":

The album is available to pre-order here. Speaking about the new track the band say:- “‘Bad Idea’ is a serenade of self-pity and an unsuccessful apology. In the lyrics, we’re getting personal and digging deeper than ever. The song came to life many years ago, when relationships ended in a very ugly manner and all you could think of was: ”well I warned you.” "Lifestyles Of The Sick & Dangerous" is the band’s fourth studio album and also features previously released singles including ‘Dark Side’, ‘Balboa’ and ‘We Are No Saints’. Regarding the album the band say:- “This album is a memento of the toughest, yet the best couple of years in our lives. Finnish melodic metallers Dead End Finland unleash new single & music video 'Northern Winds'24/2/2022 Finnish melodic metal band Dead End Finland released a new single and music video 'Northern Winds'. The track is taken from the upcoming fifth studio album which is released later this year by Inverse Records. Watch 'Northern Winds' music video: https://youtu.be/7HvKlU0C800 Guitarist & Bass player Santtu Rosén comments: "One of the strengths of Dead End Finland has always been the ability to turn a difficult situation into a resource. So when the corona storm was raging, we decided to throw ourselves into the wind and draw strength from it. During the darkening evenings of autumn, we wrote more material and soon we were in a situation where making a full length album was a better option than the originally planned EP. "Northern Winds" is the opening track of the upcoming album and it tells the story of a situation where an individual has to face an impending threat and follow his instincts in order to survive."
