Naples-based symphonic metallers Poemisia have announced their new violinist: "A huge "welcome to our family" to our new violinist Mariacarmela "Maca" Li Pizzi! She will perform in our next shows (oh yes, there is some great news coming up) as well in the future releases! We are very happy that she is part of the band. Wonderful musician and wonderful person. We found out that our minds are perfectly tuned together and we're sure that great things will come out!" This is what Mariacarmela wants to add: "Being a part of this project is like unleashing my deepest instincts. A great band and great people. Looking forward to play live!" The musical style of Poemisia is focused on sounds which combine metal music to opera and symphonic elements, which are also made by the light-lyric soprano voice of Tina Gagliotta. This duality leads to a tendency to mark the continuous conflict between darkness and light, between death and life, between Hell and Heaven, sometimes also in a peculiar grotesque way. This is fully reflected also in the lyrics which have always a refined nature. Currently Poemisia is working on new material for the follow up of their debut full length “La danza degli spiriti” (“The dance of the spirits”) which was released in 2013. https://www.facebook.com/Poemisia https://www.facebook.com/OfficialAlphaOmegaManagement

Stay tuned for more info. https://www.facebook.com/epica/ Own a piece of Cradle of Filth history with the set release of the original 'Dusk and Her Embrace'11/5/2016 A piece of Black Metal history has been lying dormant for over two decades, deep in the shadowy abyss of dust-ridden, musty vaults. The authors of this forbidden rite decided the world was not quite ready for its offering in 1995, and thus locked it away from the light. But the years passed, and gradually it's power grew too strong. Freed from its vault by genre-defining creators Cradle Of Filth and the recently resurrected extreme music label Cacophonous, the two have joined forces to finally unshackle the unreleased sophomore album "Dusk & Her Embrace… The Original Sin" as a CD and digital album on 8th July. A vinyl LP version will be available later this year. “The wait is over. The original 'Dusk and Her Embrace' is dragged kicking and screaming into the world, and people can finally hear for themselves what a true masterpiece it is” – Neil Harding, Cacophonous Label Head Pre-order from 30th May. Track Listing: 1) Macabre, This Banquet 2) Nocturnal Supremacy 3) Heaven Torn Asunder 4) Dusk And Her Embrace 5) A Gothic Romance 6) The Graveyard By Moonlight 7) Funeral In Carpathia 8) Beauty Slept In Sodom 9) The Haunted Shores Of Avalon 10) Carmilla’s Masque 11) A Gothic Romance (Bonus Demo Track) 12) Nocturnal Supremacy (Bonus Demo Track) It's been 17 years since their debut album "Looking Behind the Mirror..." was released. The waiting is now over and their second full length album "Arlechino" is released today. The album has 9 songs (plus a bonus track) focusing on the drama, life contrasts and inner struggles of the soul, a psychological puzzle "like an Arlechino act". Created on triple plan the concept brings the evolution of the human spirit. The first one exposes the lie, paltriness, falsehood, hollowness, insincerity of the human being, strong egos creating suffering to others. The second one creates an image about the positive part of humanity, the good we are able to bring to our planet and to people and most important: how we use our free will. The last one represents the ether, philosophical, universal, macro-cosmic stage. Now, without space limits, the human being is the Universe and the Universe is rolling into him. In fact, the album is a transposition of universal evolution of the human spirit. This mixture of feelings and emotions is revealed by theatrical voices and supported by the symphonic orchestra combined with dark and atmospheric passages and with the intriguing sounds of an anvil. Album's artwork was designed by Costin Chioreanu (Paradise Lost, Arcturus, Mayhem, Vader, Ulver, At the Gates and many others), a very special artist who understood immediately Kratos' album concept, creating a very relevant and wonderful cover. The band is having their record release gig tonight at Club Fabrica, Romania. The first music video for the song "Little Men" is just released. Musically "The Puzzle" album will continue the cinematic metal sound, but this time a bit heavier and faster, combining different music styles spiced up with black humour and mystical stories with creatures of the Underworld. Story: In the end of the debut album called "Behind the Black Veil", released last year through Inner Wound Reordings, the Evil Tree had broken into pieces and Dark Sarah´s soul with it. She did not die, but was left in a loop between two worlds, between life and death. She was sent down to the River of Death to drift along the streams and she ended up on an island in the middle of a mighty ocean. She woke up on the shores of the misty island. It was a magical rocky island, the rocks were black and they sparkled like covered by millions of diamonds in the endless night. Sharp cliffs and huge statues painted the dark sky, the ocean was wild on its shores.Dark Sarah felt the air in her lungs - she was alive after all. She felt the strength coming back to her limbs, she got up and started to explore the island. She found a cave and went in. There she saw a light twinkling in the back of the cave and started to move towards it slowly. She looked through the small hole and was mesmerized. And THIS is the place for the first music video called "Little Men". It is surely something REALLY DIFFERENT and same time REALLY CRAZY! Guests on the album: Manuela Kraller (ex Xandria) - Fate, JP Leppäluoto (Charon, Northern Kings) - Dragon and YET UNNAMED GUEST - Evil Siren Mairmaid Crowdfunding: https://igg.me/at/darksarahthepuzzle/x/4282810 Official album trailer: https://youtu.be/GIDqKVvGEhM |
