Portuguese grind metal band AXIA have teamed up with Decibel Magazine to stream their new song "Fading Into Nothing." The song is taken from their aptly named new album Pulverizer which will be released on April 27th via Selfmadegod. Listen to the song here: https://www.decibelmagazine.com/2018/04/20/track-premiere-axia-fading-into-nothing/ AXIA was crafted by four seasoned musicians known for their work in The Ominous Circle, Holocausto, Canibal, Heavenwood and Colosso among others; vocalist Alex Vale is joined by guitarist Max Tome, with bassist Ze Pedro and drummer Marcelo Aires rounding out the rhythm section. This new project builds on their collective experience to create an opus that is even more negative and hopeless than their previous respective outputs. Mastered by Peter In de Betou (Arch Enemy, Amon Amarth, Meshuggah, Hypocrisy), Pulverizer attests to AXIA's harsh determination. Called "a furiously paced representation of a highly mechanized war zone" by No Clean Singing, this album is sure to make a grim mark on all who hear it. LINEUP: Alex Vale – Vocals Max Tome – Guitar Ze Pedro – Bass Marcelo Aires – Drums All music by Max Tome and Alex Vale. All lyrics by Alex Vale, Max Tome and Ze Pedro. Recorded at Sound Stone Studio and HNK Studio. Produced and mixed by Max Tome. Mastered by Peter in de Betou. Logo by Ze Pedro. It’s over half an hour of brutal death/grind with slam parts and bone-crushing breakdowns. Lyrically it’s all about pathological deviation, serial killers and various methods of taking someone’s life. The album will definitely appeal for fans of Suffocation, Napalm Death, Lock Up, Aborted, Cephalic Carnage, Vomitory, Cattle Decapitation, Devourment.. The album is set for March 30th 2018 release date on CD via Selfmadegod Records. You can pre-order CD, apparel and bundles at Selfmadegod webstore

Official GUTSLIT Bandcamp Official GUTSLIT Facebook Transcending Obscurity Official Site NEW Transcending Obscurity Records Facebook Official Transcending Obscurity Records YouTube Channel Southern Lord has teamed up with their cohorts at Japanese label Daymare Recordings for the impending vinyl release of Hatred, the unrelenting debut LP by Japan’s mysterious Friendship. While Friendship's identity remains an enigma, those who have encountered their antagonistic, loud, and murky sonic world, can testify to the sheer power of the auditory torture the band creates. Friendship has previously self-released two CD EPs which sold out in a month, since reissued as I & II vinyl and cassette versions through Sentient Ruin. For their Hatred LP, the band delivers twelve caustic tracks in just over twenty-five minutes, the album recorded in their home city of Tokyo, mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege. Originally released by Daymare Recordings on CD and digital formats back in June, Southern Lord will now release Friendship’s Hatred on vinyl October 27th. Blackened, dark, loud, fast, and intense, fans of prior Southern Lord releases by Nails, Heartless, Dead In The Dirt, Gust, and other brutal, grinding devastation should take heed. Stream: "Tortures" and "Life Sentence" Having shared the stage with the likes of Full Of Hell, Sumac, Endon, and more, and having gained a reputation for extremely loud live shows, Friendship will fittingly open for the mighty Sleep in Tokyo in January. Find more info here and watch for international tour dates from Friendship to be announced in the months ahead. Hobbes: How so? Calvin: Well, when you look into infinity, you realize that there are more important things than what people do all day.” This quote from Bill Watterson’s iconic comic strip “Calvin and Hobbes”, resumes accurately Dephosphorus’ intentions. With 6 vinyl releases spanning from 2011 to 2015, the Athenians are embarked on a cosmic quest. Their concept and aesthetics draw influences from cosmology, astronomy and science fiction literature, as well as the associated sociopolitical and existential repercussions. Being impossible to describe their music style by using one or two genre references, they have chosen to call it “astrogrind”. “Impossible Orbits” is Dephosphorus’ 3rd album and their darker and more violent effort to date – both musically and lyrically. Its 9 tracks clocking at under 30’, see them return to a more condensed form of expression, not unlike their critically acclaimed “Axiom” debut mini-LP. The similarities with the latter do not stop there, as Panos Alexiadis is again on board handling the live electronics and putting an extra eerie touch to the record’s atmosphere. Check out the first excerpt, “Rational Reappraisal”, which can be streamed at Selfmadegod Records SoundCloud or YouTube channel, as well as Dephosphorus’ Bandcamp page. “Impossible Orbits” has been recorded and mixed analogically at Unreal Studios. The artwork has been hand drawn by Viral Graphics. Notorious grindcore label from Poland, Selfmadegod Records, will release CD and cassette version on June 15th 2017. Digital copies will be available directly though the band’s Bandcamp page. A vinyl edition will follow later this year. Following a long stretch of radio silence, Portland, Oregon-based grindcore band Transient announces a revamped line-up, and plans of returning to both the stage and the studio in the months ahead. Following the 2013 release of their self-titled debut LP through Six Weeks Records and an extensive US tour, Transient took some time to realign their line-up and attack. Having replaced two members in recent months, vocalist Krysta Curry (formerly Martinez, also of Landmine Marathon) and guitarist Adam Wilson now welcome bassist Brandon Curry, and drummer, Justin Rodda, both new members also hailing from Endorphins Lost, who released their debut LP through Six Weeks in late 2016. Issues Transient on the status of the band, "We are really proud of the years that we've spent on this project. We love everyone who has helped bring the band to life at one time or another and continue to wish them all the best in their variegated endeavours. This Summer, Transient will emerge from hiding with new music and faces. Justin and Brandon bring with them tremendous abilities and will add a new depth and ferocity to our sound. Those that have had the privilege of watching them perform live know exactly how much infectious energy they'll bring. We're excited for what the future holds." Transient has also booked Earhammer Studios for the first week of September, where the band will work with Greg Wilkinson to record the follow-up to their debut LP. Shows in Seattle, Portland, and Oakland are being booked surrounding the recording sessions. Transient will continue working on their new material, and will make their live re-emergence at Northwest Terror Fest in June, joining Warning, Cephalic Carnage, Wolves In The Throne Room, Yob, Samothrace, and dozens more. Additional widespread touring from the band is imminent.
