This spring starts with some powerful chords from Sofia, Bulgaria. SEVI worked on the track with the world famous producer and songwriter Kane Churko, who’s name stands along with the projects of some rock and metal giants like Five Finger Death Punch, Ozzy Osbourne, Halestorm and more. For the co-work, the excitement and the results the vocalist Svetlana Bliznakova said: “It was a true honuor to work with a producer like Kane Churko. His professional approach brought the track into a new level and defined the small important details that finished the song the way we imagined it to sound. I can’t wait to hear what fans would think” "Hate you” gives a new different sound to the band without losing their individual stile that gathers fans all over the world. The video of "Hate You” presents a story of the tiny border between love and hate and remind us that we never really know who we are competing with. Fast cars, high voltage, power and original vintage style. Full contrast between the speed on the car track and the band playing on an auto morgue. For the video shoot the SEVI trusted the Dark-White vision team who worked on their latest single “Dark Knight”. The song is already available in the official YouTube channel of SEVI and all their music platforms such as Spotify, iTunes and Amazon. Known as one of the most successful rock bands in Bulgaria, SEVI captured the public attention with their original and recognizable style, the powerful female vocals and melodic songs that can be often heard on the radio. Scottish heavy metallers DVL have signed a worldwide deal with Wormholedeath for their album "Hush", which is due for release on May 27th, 2022 worldwide. DVL on the signing and new album: "We are excited to announce that we have signed with WormHoleDeath Records and we look forward to working together on the release of our upcoming debut album, 'Hush'. We’ve always had a natural attraction to the darker, more ominous sounds in music and we really leaned into that when we were writing Hush. We wrote and demoed all the songs for over 2 and a half years before finally going to Italy and recording it with our engineer at Titans LAB Recording Studio in September 2020. This album is like a book of short stories. Not a concept album but each song tells it’s own individual tale. Musically we take cues from many genres and many artists but our writing is also heavily influenced by other media such as Horror film, comic books and video games." https://www.facebook.com/DVL.BAND.UK Napalm Records is beyond proud to join forces with legendary German heavy metal force, Accept! Last month with rumours spreading of the band calling it quits after they posted an image that was titled "RIP Striker 2007-2021" on their social media, fans began speculating on their future. In the end, it was all made to prepare them for Striker's new single "Deathwish", a track that has their signature sound of putting a modern twist on classic heavy metal mixed with 1980s AOR. The single is also the band's introductory track with new drummer Jonathan Webster and bassist Pete Klassen who joined the line-up in 2019 along with it being their first of many new recordings to come since releasing their Juno award-winning album 2018's "Play To Win". Now, Striker unveils their music video for "Deathwish", which can be viewed below. “The world’s already on fire, you might as well light a smoke on it and kick back and watch. German rock / metal icons Scorpions are set to release their brand-new single "Peacemaker" today, November 4, to whet their fans' appetite for their upcoming album Rock Believer, scheduled to be released on February 25, 2022 — an amuse-guile of the rock music variety straight from the metal quintet's brand-hot kitchen. Mind you, "Peacemaker" has turned into much more than simply a lead single. It's a showcase number that has Scorpions celebrate their legendary tried and tested DNA in a fresh, tough sonic guise, a musical foretaste of their new album that promises to forge an arc between yesterday and tomorrow. Listen to "Peacemaker" here. Does a band whose musical career will span 50 years from the release of their first phenomenal album success Lonesome Crow to the arrival of Rock Believer in February 2022 still have the bite, the toughness, and the brute force that it takes to create and record one or two dozen brand new tracks? Aren't their 18 studio albums to date, their platinum and double-platinum awards, garnered around the globe, enough for these relentless musicians? Is there still enough gas in the tank to keep going? One of their songs provides the answer to these questions: "Let's play it louder play it hard / Laid back and a little dark / Give me a dirty riff my friend / There's gotta be more gas in the tank." And indeed, "Peacemaker" sounds like it's been freshly reimported from the heyday of a legendary hard rock band. "The first thing that came to my mind," remembers Scorpions singer Klaus Meine, who wrote the lyrics to the song (music courtesy of Rudolf Schenker and Pawel Maciwoda) and produced the band with the support of Hans-Martin Buff, "was the hook line. 'Peacemaker, peacemaker / Bury the undertaker.' I was just playing around with those words. At a time when so many people have died and are still dying of COVID, from devastating wars and other senseless crimes, it makes you feel that the undertaker must be working overtime. In a peaceful world after the pandemic, it will be time for the peacemaker to rule... that's an image that really appeals to me," says Meine. Scorpions are one of the world's most important rock bands of recent decades, having sold more than 120 million records to date, played over 5,000 concerts, and created a timeless classic in their legendary single "Wind of Change," which dominated the international charts and still is the best-selling single worldwide by a German artist. Countless awards, a star on the Hollywood Rock Walk of Fame, and more, hits such as "Rock You Like a Hurricane" and "Still Loving You," among others, followed. Their success to date impressively underlines the influence that the Scorpions continue to have on the rock music scene. Their latest album Rock Believer will be out on Universal's Spinefarm label in the U.S. Rock Believer, the credo of their new album, will also be the moniker of their upcoming tour. In March and April 2022, the band is set to perform at the Planet Hollywood Resorts & Casino in Las Vegas as part of its residency, followed by a European tour scheduled to kick off with a number of shows in Germany in June 2022 — with more concerts on a global level in the pipeline. |
