Iron Bonehead Productions sets July 21st as the international release date for Aparthiva Raktadhara's debut demo, Agyat Ishvar, on 7" vinyl format. Hailing from Kalikshetra, from the rising Indian black/death scene that's spawned fellow Iron Bonehead noise terrorists Tetragrammacide, Aparthiva Raktadhara create an ultra-violent whirlwind of dread frequencies that somehow manages to sound hallucinatory. In a swift 13 minutes, the power-trio's opening salvo blasts and twists and swirls with feral, frightening intent; just its sheer, Spartan overload of violence alone is stultifying enough. But within that maelstrom, Aparthiva Raktadhara have carefully cultivated a sort of order from chaos, with occult mathematics seemingly employed to elevate each messy-on-the-surface angularity into a stridently martial attack. And Agyat Ishvar is just the first detonation...a new EP for Iron Bonehead is being prepared. In the meantime, hear the new track "Proclamations of the Empty" HERE at Iron Bonehead's Soundcloud.

Demonic Resurrection has announced a line-up change which sees the departure of their lead guitarist Nishith Hegde, who has been promptly replaced by Vignesh V. Nishith had this to say about it:- "No matter how much we want things to be the same, life is all about change. Sometimes it’s for the better and sometimes it’s not. I have had a glorious 5 years with Demonic Resurrection and it will always remain very close to me, the journey I was a part of. But priorities change and you have to do what you have to do. I wish my friends in DR all the very best for all their future endeavours and hope they reach greater heights. As for me, my journey with them ends here!" Sahil comments:- "It's been a pleasure having Nishith be a part of this band and we're definitely going to miss having him around. His contribution has been invaluable and you can hear his musical genius on the recordings of Dashavatar. They are part of the history of DR now. Line-up changes seem to be the only constant in DR but it's something I've come to terms with, it's always hard but everyone has to follow their own path and DR is a stepping stone in that journey. We will carry on as always and for now Vignesh V. (Albatross) is going to be filling in as lead guitarist on all upcoming India tours. We are looking and auditioning lead guitar players but we still haven't found a full time replacement for Ashwin (who quit last year) so technically we're still looking for a full time bass player as well. Vignesh has filled in for Nishith last year for a couple of shows so we're quite comfortable with this line-up for now. Onward and upward." Check out the first song on Bandcamp or YouTube. They have this to say about their debut album titled 'Purge' - "Killibrium is a state of balance and harmony paved through by destructive actions exchanged between two opposing forces. In an internal conflict, one side of humans naturally takes this path with the intent to harmonize, while the other side opposes this and fuels aggression. There are various social contexts in which this conflict of identity leads to destructive events. Songs are based on various thoughts that the band has on these identities and situations." India's most exciting new death metal band Killibrium have announced their debut release and it's every bit worth the long wait. They have found a brilliant balance between old school and the modern, technical and brutal death metal. It's catchy and at the same time engrossing. Artwork duties have been handled by none other than Michal "Xaay" Loranc (Pestilence, Nile, Schammasch) and the production too is impeccable, with everything sounding powerful and clear. Killibrium are touted as the next big band in India and going by the material on hand here, there is very litle doubt about that. Listen to one of their songs on Bandcamp or YouTube. Stark Denial have conjured up a vicious album of steely black metal in the vein of Destroyer 666, Gorgoroth, (early) Mayhem, Immortal and Nargaroth. Constantly reinventing themselves, they’ve found the perfect balance in the music of their debut full length ‘Covenant of Black’ which sees their ferocity tempered with memorable songwriting. Every song on the album has its own character while remaining consistent with the overall sound. Fans of black metal that is relentless, catchy and superbly structured will find a new favourite in this band. Indian death metal band Chronic Xorn have announced their new release and it holds a lot of promise. They've got a series of shows lined up in North India and even Bhutan in support of the upcoming album. Indian band Chronic Xorn have worked hard over the years to build a tremendous following in the nation and have now announced their third release titled 'For These Sins Who Must Die'. It's an adrenaline rush of crushing riffage and mammoth breakdowns. The passion is palpable and as a D.I.Y effort, it's right up there with the rest. Moreover, the album is dedicated to a close deceased friend Abhishek Bhattacharya who penned the lyrics for all the songs on it. The vocalist Saptadip Chakrabarty has this to say about it - "History reveals that in every religion, community and caste, there has always been a major race of common people, those who suffer and rot under the reign of a corrupted helm. Unwillingly their blood spills as the ever deceitful leader smiles away to glory. This album speaks about all those commoners, who are helplessly handcuffed by societal pressure. Their voices choke under the smoke of fraudulence." Set for international release on November 3rd via Iron Bonehead Productions, hear Tetragrammacide's Primal Incinerators of Moral Matrix in its entirety exclusively HERE. One of the most genuinely threatening and overwhelmingly violent metal bands of modern times, Tetragrammacide truly began their explosive reign with the Typhonian Wormholes: Indecipherable Anti-Structural Formulæ mini-album, released in late 2015 by Iron Bonehead. Then a duo, this Indian cult quickly reaped widespread acclaim (or general awe, at least) for how shockingly savage and unremittingly noisy Typhonian Wormholes was. And yet, underneath all that blown-out barbarism and in-the-red frequencies lay an accomplished black/death band who were simply waiting for an opportune time to reveal a clearer portrait of their sonic holocaust. And now, that time has arrived with Primal Incinerators of Moral Matrix. Now a power-trio, on Primal Incinerators of Moral Matrix, Tetragrammacide immediately lay bare their mission to decimate all contenders and pretenders left in the wake of Typhonian Wormholes' mushroom cloud. And indeed, after the unsettling intro, Primal Incinerators of Moral Matrix soon establishes a more sonically lucid style for the band: far clearer, stripped of noise both intentional and incidental, but swirling more severely and savagely into a fever dream of palpably physical heft, the trade-off works in the band's favour, and establishes a new paradigm for Tetragrammacide whilst not abandoning their initial foundation entirely. As the album plays and slays on, it quickly becomes apparent that Tetragrammacide have a dexterous songwriting ability in their already-bursting arsenal; from gutted ultra-grind to world-eating doom, all extremes are explored here, making the sensory overload all the more expansive. Early on, references to Tetragrammacide's progenitors could be made - early Nyogthaeblisz, earlier Goatpenis, later Nuclearhammer, any Intolitarian - but now, the Indian trio can stand alongside them as contemporaries, as they've now firmly established a genocidal aura all their own. And despite the concessions toward sonic clarity, they still don't belong to the "black metal" scene, nor especially the "death metal" one; "war metal" is still an apt appellation, but not as most understand it. Which is all to say nothing of Tetragrammacide's crypto-scientific/occultic lyricism, which is taken to the furthest extremes on Primal Incinerators of Moral Matrix. Deciphering the codes behind titles like "Meontological Marga of Misanthropic Computation & Extensive Backwards Physics," "Radicalized Matrikavyeda Operation: Militarized Cosmogrids Destabilization (Heralding Absolute Contraction)," and "Intra-Dimensional Vessel of Were-Robotics, N-Logics and Assorted Lattice Intelligences," among six others, is much like wandering amidst the hyperspatial audial vortex of the album itself. More martial, more miasmic, and more fully serving the powers of chaos, Tetragrammacide have once again created a soundworld - this time, bigger and more OTT - where there is no hope, no mercy, NO FUN: no "scenes" exist because they've been obliterated by undulating, uncompromising waves of sonic hatred. When faced with Primal Incinerators of Moral Matrix, survival was never an option, for submission begins the second you press "play." Full submission to the Primal Incinerators of Moral Matrix can be found exclusively HERE, courtesy of TheQuietus.com.

Ambitious Indian band Fragarak from New Delhi have come up with an album of epic proportions. Featuring Louis Rando of Impiety on drums, they've fabricated elaborate songs that are both atmospheric and suspenseful. Their first album was groundbreaking in its vision, but with 'A Spectral Oblivion' they've truly proved their worth. This is a statement of sorts that bands from this part of the world too can come up with music that's original. Though steeped in classic death metal, they've done well to expand upon that style and add their own aura of mysticism and intrigue. Albums like these probably won't ever be replicated, but there's enough material here to last a while.
