Veteran Brazilian Blackened Thrashers Vulcano to release new album "Eye In Hell" in March, pre-orders available
On Friday 13th March 2020, Mighty Music will release a new studio album from one of the most influential bands in South America: Vulcano. This will be the second important Friday the 13th event for the Brazilian veterans lately, after having released their new single and video, off the track "Bride Of Satan", on Friday the 13th of December. But then again, what else can we expect from a band with the charisma, history and aura of Vulcano?
"Eye In Hell", the new Vulcano album, will be their 11th in a career spawn of 38 years, and their first in four years. It will be released in CD, LP and digital formats and can be pre-ordered in the following links:
In a time when new bands are born at every minute and meaningless albums are spit forth and back, the simple existence of an entity with the historical depth, aura and attitude of Vulcano is nothing short of amazing. The Brazilian Black / Thrash metal masters are now back to studio album titled “Eye In Hell”, to be released worldwide by Mighty Music on the first quarter of 2020. “Eye In Hell” was produced by Zhema Rodero and Ivan Pelliciotti in O Beco studios, in Curitiba, Brazil, between April and August 2019 and has artwork drawn by Roberto Toderico (Paganizer, Pestilence, Sodom, Tygers Of Pan Tang).
Vulcano were one of Brazil's first heavy metal bands of note. Coming into existence some time before (and having no small influence upon) that country's most famous metal export, Sepultura, Vulcano's albums were far too inaccessible to surface above the heavy metal underground with any regularity; and yet, alongside fellow Brazilians Sarcofago, Mutilator, and others, their primal, astoundingly violent blend of black and thrash metal has attained a worldwide cult legend among some of the genre's most extreme practitioners - notably, Norway's feared black metal inner circle of the early '90s.
Zhema states that:-
“Vulcano has always been a DIY band in essence, since it’s very first album. But for the first time in our almost 39-year career, we signed a record deal with a label with name and focus on Metal. We’re very proud to be now in a roster with renamed artists - some of them created in the same era we did - like Tygers of Pan Tang and Artillery. This union gave us extra motivation and energy to keep going and I believe we still have a lot of albums and shows ahead”.
Zhema Rodero - guitar
Luiz Carlos Louzada - vocals
Carlos Diaz - bass
Gerson Fajardo - guitar
Bruno Conrado – drums

Belarusian instrumental black metal trio Krvvla is about to release their new (maxi) single on July 5, 2019. Pre-order launched - http://smarturl.it/krvvla. Keeping true to the tradition of one-letter album titles, the band named their upcoming track "T". This is Krvvla’s 5th release since their formation in 2015. The track features a mixture of black and death metal that sounds more like a dialogue between the two subgenres rather than their fusion.
Check out the teaser right now:- https://youtu.be/9krr7y6-H1k
Krvvla is a three-piece instrumental black metal band based in Minsk, Belarus. Formed in 2015, the band has already released 4 EPs and shared the stage with such bands as Hexis, Wiegedood, Celeste, and Furia. Italy’s symphonic metal band Astralium announces they will be releasing their debut album titled “Land of Eternal Dreams” on August 23rd via Rockshots Records (worldwide release) along with the full length being available in Japan via Spiritual Beast on the same date. A pure symphonic album with power heavy prog metal influences, epic choirs, high pitch vocals plus lyrical sections and baroque / magniloquent arrangements, “Land Of Eternal Dreams” is a concept release about dreams and the astral universe, but also the fantasy world that lives in us. It's an inner journey through imaginary stories about myths and legends from the past.
The band explains the release:
"First of all, I want to say that we are very excited about our debut album “Land Of Eternal Dreams”. Fans can expect an amazing album of great melodies, blended with cinematic, symphonic and classical music, along with metal guitar riffs and epic choirs. We believe that music evokes sensations, emotions and real fantastic worlds in our minds."
The album also features specials guests Tommy Johansson (Sabaton, Majestica), Jo Lombardo (Ancestral, ex-Metatrone), Andrea Martongelli (Arthemis), Stefano "Ghigas" Calvagno (Metatrone, NefeshCore), Adam Cook (A Hill To Die Upon), Davide Bruno (Metatrone, NefeshCore) and more.
Astralium was formed in 2014 by soprano Roberta Pappalardo and bass player Giuseppe Pappalardo. Drummer Salvo Grasso (Metatrone, Hypersonic) and guitarist Emanuele Alessandro complete the line-up.

When recently announcing their fifth studio album No More Hollywood Endings, which will be unleashed on March 22nd via Nuclear Blast, Finnish heavy metallers Battle Beast promised fans a taster of their new offering at the beginning of 2019 - and the group has kept true to their word! Packed with extravagant melodies, the official music video for the new album's title track provides the perfect visuals for the song's meaningful message. Directed by Markus Nieminen and produced by Oy Routafilmi AB / Tuotantoyhtiö Legenda, the official video for 'No More Hollywood Endings' can be viewed over on YouTube here: youtu.be/SZzhUPe-Bck
Keyboardist Janne Björkroth comments on the track:-
"The song tells a story about living up to other people's expectations and becoming a kind of a sidekick in one's own life. Hollywood conventions and media set unrealistic expectations and narrow ideals about such things as beauty and happiness, and it's easy to get lost while trying to fit the mould. The song claims that there isn't a universal pattern for happiness, but everyone has a right to be respected as they are and live a life that suits for themselves. It's a hymn to individuality."

“We’re always eager to release new music that we’ve been waiting so long to share with our fans, so days like today are always special to us. The title track is one of our favorite songs on the album so choosing it to release early was pretty easy. This is our 13th album, but every new piece of music we reveal still brings the same amount of excitement and surrealism that this is what we get to do. We can’t wait to experience these songs live together with you for the first time, but in the meantime, thanks for listening and we hope you enjoy.”
