Ryth is a 4-piece Metal band from the Middle Eastern Kingdom of Bahrain. The band’s style can be described as blackened death metal with a technical and progressive edge. Their main influences are bands such as Gojira, Dark Fortress, Shining and Opeth. Ryth’s innovative song structures incorporate clean and aggressive vocals with progressive and dynamic elements. Ryth, were formed in 2008 and have been very active in the Bahraini live metal scene since. However, due to the hardships facing Metal musicians in the Middle East, the band did not record or release any official material for many years. Although Ryth’s first studio recordings will be released in 2022, the band have spent years perfecting their musical skills and forging their own unique and brutal blend of extreme metal.

This film is a real gem, and the single had to be crafted to meet the feel of the Movie. The song itself, is a departure from the usual GOA mythology and sound, but we feel it truly galvanises our projects together, and we are both over the moon with the outcome, and you will be too!!! We are privileged to work with such a bunch of like minded fruit loops, hell bent on bringing meaningful impactful content to all you lot!!!" One of the most groundbreaking metal bands to emerge from South Africa, Vulvodynia have returned with their first new track since the release of 2021's Praenuntius Infiniti LP. The self-proclaimed 'Kings of African Metal' have released their most earth-shaking salvo yet with 'Artificial Divinity' - the introductory offering from their yet-to-be-announced sixth studio album.
The band commented: "‘Artificial Divinity’ is about the eventual evolution of humanity by means of A.I. The idea of the extinction of all biological matter, as A.I. becomes sentient and runs afoul of all of humanity’s perversions. We decided to use A.I. generated artwork to fully round off the theme! We had been planning out what we thought the perfect single would consist of for a while. Combining elements from our old material, as well as giving the fans something they’ve never heard or experienced from us before, all while staying true to who we are as Vulvodynia. This song is a special one and we can't wait to hear what you think!” Vulvodynia are:

Lansing, Michigan technical death metallers Recorruptor are back with their new standalone single, "Malediction Upon The Holy" a fiery cut of brutal and frenetic death metal with a bit of something for everyone. The song comes from the band's split EP, Horrendous with fellow Michigan death metal act Redlord which is out now The band has been at work on their upcoming 3rd album, which is tentatively set for release in the summer or fall of 2023.
Recorruptor elaborates on the release of "Malediction Upon The Holy":- "Malediction Upon the Holy” is the culmination of all the personal and musical growth achieved through two and a half years of great stress and frustrations. Pairing our own stresses as people together with the unnaturally fucked up string of events that have plagued our society in recent years left us with no choice but to harness our inordinate rage and display it in vicious fashion. “Malediction”, and the forthcoming record, is Recorruptor at our most violent. Lyrically, the single details the hopeful destruction of radicalized religion that plagues this world. In the light of Roe v. Wade being overturned, my personal hatred for the extremist, cultist behavior of radical Christianity grew to a peak. Recorruptor firmly negates the notion that any one person should heed to the imposed oppression that religious fanatics force upon this world on a daily basis." Formed in 2013, the Lansing, Michigan death metallers in Recorruptor spent many years honing their craft playing live shows before releasing their debut album Bloodmoon in 2017. In 2020, Recorruptor unleashed their well-received sophomore album, The Funeral Corridor. That album saw the band's music evolve from their earlier more straightforward sound toward a multifaceted approach drawing heavily from black metal, brutal death metal, technical death metal, and melodic death metal. Like many bands, the Covid-19 pandemic slowed things down in the Recorruptor camp, yet since live shows returned in 2021, Recorruptor has resumed melting faces as often as they can. Playing Rust Fest in 2021 & 2021, and performing at OIGS Fest. As well as playing shows alongside notable bands such as Battlecross, Throne, Hath, Cognitive, and opening on the recent Suffocation, Atheist, Contrarian, and Soreption tour. Recorruptor is strongly recommended for fans of bands the group cites as influences which include Hour of Penance, Cattle Decapitation, Cannibal Corpse, Aborted, The Black Dahlia Murder, Immolation, and Emperor. Brisbane blackened thrash / death metal act Idle Ruin have dropped a brand new single titled "Delta Hexatoxin". Which was premiered by Metal.de & Heavy Blog Is Heavy. Check out the single on digital platforms and the video here: https://youtu.be/nZUKXLTD7XY. The track comes off an upcoming full-length album which the band have been busy working on through out 2022 with Brendan "Pip" Auld at Black Blood Audio who also recorded their first EP and the split release "Malefactors" with Germany's Boundless Chaos. On the concept of the song, the band states: "The song's about the bad apple spoiling the bunch, how one individual's actions can potentially ruin a larger group from the inside out. "Delta Hexatoxin" is the compound within the venom of funnel-web spiders, which can impair one's nervous system once infused." 2022 has been a busy year for Idle Ruin. The Brisbane heavy hitters released a split EP with Germany's Boundless Chaos titled "Malefactors" and performed at Adelaide's New Dead Festival alongside Psycroptic, Lo!, In Malice's Wake and more. "Now with gigs returning full-time we've been spending October doing a tour of Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, and a return to Adelaide" comments the band. "It's been great finally getting to play to these crowds who've been calling for us to come and play since we started the band. As soon as the tour is done, our main priority will be getting the album out." Line-Up:
Idle Ruin was formed by Liam Anthony, who for several years has played drums for numerous Australian thrash and death metal bands (Malakyte, Spektre, Decapitated Mum). While Australia’s live metal scene was halted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Liam made use of the lockdown time to write songs for his own studio project Idle Ruin. In 2021, Idle Ruin evolved into a fully fledged band with guitarist Kaleb Doherty (Feculent, When Death Replaces Life) and bassist Tim Maastricht (Wartooth, Kaustic Attack). Japanese metal band Babymetal have released the first single, “Divine Attack” from their forthcoming concept album "The Other One", out 23rd March 2023. The song is accompanied by an official visualiser, available to watch here.
Last year Babymetal were “sealed” from the world after a successful 10-year journey. In April 2022, "The Other One" restoration project began to recover the Babymetal we never knew existed within a virtual world called the Metalverse A total of 10 songs have been discovered within "The Other One" restoration project, with each song representing a unique theme based on 10 separate parallel worlds that they have discovered. One of the discovered 10 parallel worlds is Cavalry, and their new single “Divine Attack” centres around this theme. As if this song is a hint into the future, alluding to a cavalry preparing for their next battle, we can feel a new sense of power from not only the sound but also the lyrics that have been written by SU-METAL for the first time. In addition, the official visualiser includes never-before-seen cuts of the members from "The Other One" - Black Box - and conveys the power and dynamism of the song. Five pre-release digital singles will be available worldwide for download and streaming, each respectively scheduled to release in October, November, January, February, and March. Formed in Hamburg Germany in 2018, the band - guitarists Chris and Julius, vocalist Chris, drummer Max and bassist Tobias - are one of the newest additions to the Arising Empire roster.
The band comment - "We are incredibly proud to share our new single 'Half Me'. This very personal song portrays our most quiet moments to date. It paints the protagonist's final descent into madness and the ultimate manifestation of another persona within their own self. 'Half Me' is as much a total surrender as it is a bonding ritual. You are invited to find out what happens after the ”Wraith” storyline." Watch the video to previous single 'Wraith' here: https://youtu.be/3tPGtDtItJs In the space of just two years, the band have made an impact in the music scene by self producing their music and videos, displaying their intensive and energetic demeanour. Debuting with four singles initially, it was their their single 'Exitwound' (featuring Jack Bergin of Void of Vision) that gave the group a breakthrough and landed the band in the spotlight of Knotfest’s Countdown to Oblivion. Musically, Half Me blend a modern rendition of metal and hardcore with highlights of 90s nu-metal. Pounding riffs and breakdowns are accompanied by brutal, yet sometimes elegant, vocals that all balance together to formulate the band’s own distinctive sound. Riding the high of their recent success, Half Me have sights set on releasing their highly anticipated debut album in 2022. Half Me will support their label mates in The Oklahoma Kid on the Tangerine Tragic Tour across Germany this autumn alongside Liotta Seoul. It was a big part of our lives, especially every Sunday morning when we went to church,” explains guitarist / keyboardist Gabriel Guardian. “But one day, our pastor had a heart attack while in the middle of a sexual act cheating on his wife and died right there in the church after-hours. It was absolutely bonkers and I remember it really stirred up the moral point-of-views in our tiny Texas town. We stopped going to church after that and really started questioning why we were there to begin with. You see, some Christians had such a bad taste of the church that they left religion altogether and felt lied to and deceived, while others said the Christian thing to do would be to forgive him and move on and find another church. It was super interesting to grow up and watch both sides of this play out. This made a very interesting topic to write about and it definitely fuelled the spark for ‘Perfect Person.’ At the end of the day, it is about NOT over idolizing and over glorifying religious figures, politicians, celebrities, even musicians, and the like. I wonder if that pastor had just lived his life and died a non-religious man, nobody would have been bothered, but because everyone sought this man’s advice every week, got baptized by him, got married by him, and put his words and lifestyle on a pedestal, it made it that much more devastating. Everyone can pin a local ‘icon’ in their minds as a perfect figure that could do no wrong and preach endless golden words when in fact, he is just a mortal man with mortal sin.” Heavy topics are not unfamiliar to Immortal Guardian whose previous album focused on the COVID pandemic, likely the first full album to be thematically linked to the disease and its effect on the globe and its people. In the past year, Immortal Guardian have revealed three brand new songs -- “Ozona,” “Echoes” and “Southern Rain” forming a basis for their next conceptual piece. The band will continue to share new material as the creative process proceeds building up to a follow-up full-length traditional album planned for 2023. More info will be released by Immortal Guardian and M-Theory Audio in the weeks and months to follow, including new tour dates. IMMORTAL GUARDIAN is:
