Finnish Blackened Death metallers Saasta's new single The Leeches is a grittily realistic depiction of present-day and past societies, in which the world’s small, blood-sucking elite disguised as sirs and lords - rip everything from the common person, down to their very hope and health. The story can be seen as the complete failure of a beautiful future utopia. A human being works throughout their life only to be drained dry and thrown into a pit once they are no longer considered productive enough by the ruling elite. In the end, does a civilized society differ at all from livestock farming? Musically, the track combines black and death metal in Saasta’s characteristic way, with death metal’s brute force ensuring that the black metal message reaches the listener’s deepest core. The single’s cover art and the music video were created with a raw DIY spirit by Saasta.

Swiss force Vicious Rain unveil 'Trading Hearts', their new single that turns emotional conflict into a crushing metalcore statement. This is taken from their album "The Anatomy of Surviving", set for release on 13th March 2026 via Arising Empire.
'Trading Hearts' lyrics portray a relationship spiralling into warfare, where pride outweighs connection and words become weapons. Driven by heavy verses and a huge, cathartic chorus, the track balances raw aggression with melodic weight. Known for intense live energy and a growing European following, Vicious Rain deliver a hard-hitting anthem that cuts deep and stays honest. The single follows the massive momentum of previous singles 'Silent Therapy', 'IKIGAI' and 'Spitting Blood Again', which have firmly established the band as one of Europe’s most exciting modern heavy acts. New album The Anatomy of Surviving promises to be their most personal and dynamic work to date, capturing the struggle, resilience, and emotional weight that define both the band and their growing international fanbase. The Industrial / Nu Metal Shock Rockers Amerakin Overdose are blowing up 2026 with three confirmed festival appearances (more dates TBA) and newest track "Time Bomb"! Vocalist Cody Perez shares: "'Time Bomb' is a raw exploration of the internal war we fight when pressure, trauma, and expectation collide. The song lives inside the mind of someone running on an invisible clock, holding everything together while feeling dangerously close to unravelling. Thoughts go unspoken, emotions stay buried, and the past becomes the only thing others seem to recognize, even as the real self remains unseen beneath the surface. As the verses unfold, opposing forces clash: angel and devil, saint and sinner, love and hate. These contradictions represent the constant voices in the head—judgment, temptation, righteousness, and rage—each pulling for control. Every setback, every unaddressed wound, adds weight, tightening the fuse and feeding the growing urge to finally snap. 'Time Bomb' captures that moment of restraint right before release—the choice between control and chaos, silence and eruption. Whether it’s about mental health, identity, societal pressure, or personal demons, the song leaves space for interpretation, asking one central question: How long can someone keep holding on before they explode?" The song delves into a stark and uncompromising vision of judgment and damnation, portraying a liminal space where souls, stripped of identity and status, await their final sentence beyond life and time. Lyrically, “Bodyless” explores the idea that, at the end of earthly existence, wealth, power and social distinction lose all meaning. What remains is the weight of one’s actions and the inescapable confrontation with guilt, memory and consequence. The track embodies one of the album’s central themes: a near-death journey in which the main character is forced to face unresolved sins and inner demons in a realm suspended between eternity and oblivion. Commenting on the single, the band states: “‘Bodyless’ represents a moment of total suspension. It’s the point where every mask falls away and nothing can be hidden anymore. We wanted to describe a place where there is no time, no memory and no privilege - only judgment. It’s one of the most direct and unsettling tracks we’ve written, both lyrically and emotionally.” Musically, “Bodyless” highlights Dust’s evolved and more cohesive sound combining aggressive death and groove metal foundations with sharp riffing, oppressive atmospheres and tightly controlled dynamics. The band’s approach is raw and uncompromising, reinforcing the song’s sense of suffocation and inevitability while maintaining a strong sense of structure and impact. This sonic direction reflects the broader evolution of "Thoughts Of A Falling Man", which marks a significant step forward in terms of heaviness, focus and expressive depth compared to the band’s debut. Expanding on the album’s vision, the band adds: “This new record is heavier, darker and more introspective than anything we’ve done before. Each track represents a spiritual stage of a single journey, and ‘Bodyless’ is one of the moments where the listener is forced to stop and confront the consequences of a life lived without escape.” “Bodyless” stands as a key chapter within "Thoughts Of A Falling Man", a concept-driven album conceived as a near-death experience unfolding between life and eternity. Through its relentless sound and uncompromising narrative, the single offers a clear glimpse into Dust’s renewed artistic direction and the darker, more mature identity shaping this new era." Preludio Ancestral was formed in Argentina in 2005 under the leadership of guitarist and composer Leonardo Gatti. After an early phase rooted in Hard Rock, the band gradually evolved towards an epic and Melodic Power Metal sound, shaping a strong and distinctive identity through different stages and line-ups. Currently, the band is finalizing their most anticipated album to date, “Guardians of Twilight”, a 12-track release scheduled for March 2026 through Fighter Records. The album was composed, mixed, and mastered by Leonardo Gatti, reaffirming Preludio Ancestral’s epic vision and his status as one of Latin America’s most inspired composers within the genre.
In 2012, they released their debut album “Hacia lo Inmortal” (Towards the Immortal), which received very positive national and international feedback and led to support shows with bands such as Rhapsody of Fire and Stratovarius. This was followed by the EP “Putrefaction” (2013), their first release entirely sung in English, and the albums “Kybalion” (2015) and “El Misterio de la Pasión Divina” (The Mystery of Divine Passion) (2016), further solidifying their position within the Epic Power Metal scene. In 2017, the band signed with Spanish label Fighter Records, which released their fourth full-length album “Oblivion” in 2018, an ambitious work featuring collaborations with Argentine musicians and European vocalists. Preludio Ancestral later released the EP “Gloria Futura” (Future Glory) in 2020 and the album “Magnus” in 2023, both self-released. www.facebook.com/preludioancestral2020 Costa Rican atmospheric industrial black metallers Dusk unveil “Bunker II,” the first single taken from their forthcoming album "Bunker", due out on February 20, 2026. Watch "Bunker II" here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqAyCKadqd0 Dusk share their thoughts on the upcoming album:- "Bunker. The sixth studio album is the culmination of ten years of production, which brings us onto a brilliant and excitingly unpredictable new path of Industrial Black Metal. This post-apocalyptic new album offers up a more dynamic music evolution, showcasing the project's most confident, heaviest, and thematically refined atmospheric music to date. Dusk’s ballistic, martial sound on this new record, mixed with dark-experimental electronic subgenres, intentionally chooses to deviate from the usual Black Metal." Formed in 2016 in San Jose, Costa Rica, Dusk is known to incorporate Industrial with some Atmospheric Black Metal overtones, it approaches a mixture of hard bass with dark landscapes, full of relenting uncaring pounding blast beats and slow powerful doom patterns, mixed with inhuman growling vocals and modern electronic influences. The band shared stage with Samael in Costa Rica during their 2019 Latin American Tour. For more info: https://linktr.ee/dusk27 Øutline’s second and heaviest single to date, “925,” dives straight back into the early 2000s with an attention-grabbing blend of modern hard rock and nu-metal. The five-minute track pulls no punches: from the very beginning, listeners are hit with moshpit-worthy guitar riffs, rapid-fire vocals, and cutting scream sections, before the song culminates into a crushing breakdown followed by an euphoric guitar solo. Proven to be a live favourite, “925”is a track that demands attention. Listen to the single on music services (Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, Qobuz etc.): https://push.fm/fl/outline925 Behind the aggressive vocal delivery, the lyrics of “925” explore themes of a burnout caused by the work-life rat race and the desire to break free from it. As the song progresses, exhaustion and frustration make everything feel meaningless, until a glimmer of hope finally emerges. The song is Øutline’s second single from the upcoming EP, offering a small bite of the band’s fresh sound and expanding catalogue. All tracks on the EP were mixed by Sami Niittykoski and mastered by Miro Kiiski. The new single will be featured in Øutline’s spring 2026 live shows, which will be announced via the band’s social media channels. https://www.instagram.com/outlinebandofficial https://www.tiktok.com/@outlineband https://www.facebook.com/outlinefinland/ When The Mind Becomes The Battlefield... “Personality Disorder” is Kubika’s fourth single, taken from their debut album Disorders, set for release on February 13th via Art Gates Records. Driven by a pervasive sense of melancholy and emotional exhaustion, the song delves into the reality of personality disorders, a complex mental illness characterized by altered emotional responses, thought patterns, and behavior. Rather than offering easy answers, Kubika gives voice to that inner fracture, capturing the feeling of helplessness that comes with losing control over one’s own identity. Musically, “Personality Disorder” balances restraint and weight, allowing atmosphere and tension to coexist with the band’s trademark heaviness. The result is a track that feels deeply personal yet unfiltered, confronting the listener with an honest portrait of inner conflict and emotional instability. "I had 'En Milloinkaan' as a rough draft on my computer since late summer 2025, and the song took its final form quite quickly at the end of November," says guitarist Teemu Kuosmanen, who wrote the song. “The recording, mixing, and mastering also went very quickly.” ”The song is about how, even though life doesn't always go the way you want it to and even though there are all kinds of naysayers and pessimists around you, you can still get through anything if you want to and believe in yourself," says Kuosmanen. “When I sing it, I feel like I won’t give up and no one can bring me to my knees,” says singer Jori Kärki. The song is a fast-paced, synth-driven, melodic rock song. The guitar also plays a role, and the chorus is quite big and catchy, in typical Ikirouta style. Ikirouta is a Finnish melodic metal band from Kajaani, formed in the winter of 2020. They have performed at clubs and festivals throughout Finland and shared the stage with bands like Popeda and Blind Channel and also even the legendary Skid Row. The band's music is available on all digital music platforms, and on Spotify alone, the band has been listened to well over 2 million times. Every song can be found on YouTube with a music video.
