Swedish alternative metal act Aviana have released a video for their single 'Illuminate', taken from new album Corporation, out now via Arising Empire.
Corporation is a collection of perfectly crafted heavy bangers, which includes previous singles 'Paradox', 'Anomaly', 'Obsession', 'Transcendent', 'Rage', 'Oblivion', 'Overcome' and 'Retaliation'. 'Illuminate' is the last song released in this chapter and completes the new full-length. Vocalist Joel Holqvist comments: "This song 'Illuminate' is the last out of our collection of singles, which we have assembled into an album entitled Corporation. You will understand more about the Aviana Corporation as time goes on. But without giving away too much, this release symbolises a collective name of two big plots in the new world of the storyline that we have been creating and are building up in the new era of the band."
Aviana made a big impact on the global metalcore scene with their return in February 2021. Led solely by vocalist Joel Holmqvist as a consequence of past members leaving the band, Holmqvist has exceed all expectations and taken the band further down the path for greatness. Speaking on the album, Holmqvist concludes: "There is an album coming in September, finally. But I never wanted to have people sit around and wait for new Aviana music. Instead I’ve been working continuously to try and get new stuff out there for the fans. You should consider this album more of an ‘Collection of Singles’ rather than something else. There will be new songs on the album which haven’t been released yet, but also songs that we’ve already put out since 2021 will be on the album.” Aviana are:

Nazghor’s seventh album - Seventh Secular Crusade - will be released 25th of November 2022. Seventh Secular Crusade is the band’s best production this far. The album is mixed and mastered by Pentagram Studios (Rotting Christ, Acherontas, Lucifer's Child). Nazghor comments: " “Seventh Secular Crusade” is a massive experience of darkness and light. This is our best record to date, and we could not be more ready to share the result with you. It has everything that people expect from Nazghor, excellent melodies, dark atmosphere and raw power. We have raised the bar in both song writing and production. We believe in this album, and we want to make sure that no one miss the opportunity to witness our greatest opus." Nazghor emerged on a dark winter night in November 2012 from the unholy city of Uppsala. Since then, Nazghor has released six albums bringing a pure, and still melodic, black metal of death. The band has toured and played at several festivals across Europe as well as acting as support band for Batushka and Uada. Listen to the single HERE, and watch the video, HERE. Vocalist Johannes Eckerström states: "There is a sickness, a stranger, and a harmful way. A twisted landscape untouched by the sun. I leave the rest up to either you or me, but never both at the same time. You can only enter this place alone, and my path isn't yours. Your secret is safe with me, but so is mine." Avatar enjoyed quite a productive summer, traipsing North America on a successful headline tour. They next embarked on some of the biggest shows of their career - a trek with Iron Maiden, supporting the band in stadiums in Brazil. Avatar also played arenas supporting Sabaton and secured major festival appearances globally with INKcarceration, Cadott Fest, Summer Breeze, and Bloodstock. As for Avatar's mission? There are no weapons on this planet that can challenge the might of the electric guitar. For decades, metal has been the most powerful force known to man. It's sonic teeth have gnawed through the status quo over and over, pushing the boundaries for what can be created in the marriage between blood and machine. If Mount Rushmore were to be carved for all the titans of the genre, it would span the entire globe many times over. It's a burning beacon for the misfits and the rebels. As time has passed, much of the scene has become divided in two equally stale camps. The first is forever stuck in the past, no longer seeking to lead. The second are those who have forgotten the most important ingredients to what made metal what it was and must remain. They've lost touch with the Devil. They've forgotten how to move. In a genre best experienced with your whole body, they've lost the lust. Avatar, however, have not lost anything. It is with this fire in their bellies that they continue to craft their next album. Website || Facebook || Instagram || Twitter || TikTok Svart Records unleash a heady brew of nocturnal post-punk atmosphere and avant-garde metal from Swedish band Shaam Larein. The goth-tinged doom rockers share new single 'Murderer', taken from their upcoming album "Sticka En Kniv I Världen" due 9th December. The album's title, Sticka En Kniv I Världen, literally means to “stick a knife into the world”, and is a ravishing, cut-throat statement of Shaam Larein's heavy intent that casts a new shadow of stunning darkness. Formed in 2018, Shaam Larein released their debut album Sculpture in 2020 to raptured underground praise, earning them an instant booking to the prestigious Roskilde Festival and planting them on the radar of cult artists such as Chelsea Wolfe. Now signed to Finland’s Svart Records, Shaam Larein is soon to be hot on the tongues of the cult grapevine. Named after their auteur-like visionary singer Shaam Lerein, who was brought up on Russian classical art and the cinema of Tarkovsky, composes and visualises their dark materials, cementing Sticka En Kniv I Världen as an utterly unique take on bat-winged heavy rock. Shaam's background in the theatrical arts and her Syrian roots shine through in the dramatic structures and middle eastern scales her melodies incorporate, all driven by a powerful female voice that commands and charms in deadly measure. Conducting her band of Swedish vamps like a montage of Siouxsie Sioux and Lisa Gerard meeting in a Murnau horror, Shaam Larein casts a spell both occult and hypnotic. Carrying a haulage of blackened heavy metal doom in it’s gothic post-punk drive, Sticka En Kniv I Världen does what it says on the tin, providing a stab of something unearthly but also hyper-real with songs like 'I Have No Face' as a stark eye-meeting stare of emotion. With a devout appreciation of the mystic powers inherent in heavy music, Shaam Larein will ignite memories of Swedish metal artists such as In Solitude, who swayed towards the eclectic and gothic atmospheres Shaam's music touches on in their later days. With artist friends from back home in Uppsala, Pelle Åhman making the album cover and his brother Gottfrid Åhman, both of In Solitude fame, making four videos for Shaam Larein, the links weave closer, but it is to artists like Chelsea Wolfe, Ruth Rundle and Marissa Nadler that you can imagine fans drawing parallels and opening their heart to the enigmatic sound of Sticka En Kniv I Världen. Shaam describes her music as “a touch of aggression mixed with passion”, and Sticka En Kniv I Världen for her is about finding the light through a sea of darkness, “accepting the melancholy and seeing the beauty of what lies underneath our mysterious sound”. For a world of heavy rock hungry for a new wave of something dark and mysterious, Shaam Larein has it all in unparalleled dosage, just waiting to be discovered. Band Members: Shaam Larein Facebook || Instagram Non Serviam Records is happy to announce the signing of the exciting symphonic black metal band Mist Of Misery from Stockholm, Sweden. Mist Of Misery was formed by Mortuz Denatus (Vanhelga) in 2010 in the northern suburbs of Stockholm with the vision to create music that was based on melancholy, darkness, depression and atmosphere. The band released the EP "Bleak Autumn" EP, followed by the full-length album by the same name in 2011. The EP "Temple Of Stilled Voices" saw the light of the day in 2013. Mist Of Misery released their second full-length entitled "Abscence" in 2016 which showcased the progression the band had made since their early days. Thanks to its blend of atmospheric black metal and symphonic and depressive elements, the album was very well received around the world getting tremendous reviews. Before its release, Livsnekaren had joined the band on drums and was soon followed by Tenebris (ex-Vanhelga and ex-GRÁ), who joined the band on bass for various live performances and later became a permanent member in 2017. The band followed up the critically acclaimed album with two EP’s in 2017 entitled "Shackles of Life" and "Fields of Isolation". The following years Mist Of Misery performed at festivals in Bulgaria, Germany and Wales as well as various gigs in their own home country while writing their next album. The epic and grandiose double record "Unalterable" (2019) displayed the band's evolved atmospheric sound. It garnered much praise and paved the way for another evolution in the soundscape of Mist Of Misery, which was made evident when the band began working on a new album, along with the new singer Änglamakaren (Night Crowned). The writing of their new effort took the band’s symphonic sound to new heights. Mist Of Misery finished the recording of the album in early 2022 and soon signed with Non Serviam Records, with a planned release this Fall. The band comments on the signing news: "Mist Of Misery are pleased to announce they have signed with Non Serviam Records for the release of their fourth full-length album this fall, entitled ’Severance’. We look forward to collaborating with such a dedicated and well established label such as Non Serviam Records”. Ricardo Gelok, Non Serviam Records owner continues: "I knew the band from their previous releases, and I was really happy they decided to send me their new promo... I really love their musical landscape. The more I listen to the songs the more I discover new things ". More details about the new album and a first taste of what it has to offer will be unveiled soon.
"You Will Fear My Hate" is a track taken from Condemned AD's upcoming album “Follow a Failing Leader”, due for release on September 23rd, 2022 via Wormholedeath worldwide. Hailing from Hammarö, Värmland in Sweden, thrash metal outfit Condemned-AD is forging a new future after a dark past. Active in the Swedish metal scene in the early 90s, Condemned-AD’s sound was formed amidst a characteristic brutal wave of metal. Influenced by the likes of Motörhead, Megadeth, Venom, Tankard, and Slayer, Condemned-AD writes music about personal experiences of depression, the problem of human stupidity as expressed through today’s social media, and the struggles we all face despite our shared fate of death and decay. The band has released three EPs—“Until Death ends It All” (2016), “Will I Cheat Death One More Day” (2017), and “Time Waits For No One” (2018). In this new album “Follow a Failing Leader” the lyrics reflect the harsh reality through the eyes of us as a band today but also cover a dark past. We are a Thrash-Metal band with influences from all decades and styles in Thrash metal music. Band line up in the studio on this album:
Swedish melodic death metallers Orbit Culture release video for brand new single 'Vultures Of North'28/8/2022 Sweden’s Orbit Culture are quickly taking the metal world by storm, continuing with the release of their vicious new single 'Vultures Of North'. The single precedes Orbit Culture's debut USA tour supporting In Flames, which kicks off next month, and will feature on their upcoming full-length (due early 2023). Check out the video for 'Vultures Of North' here: https://youtu.be/ZvKKbDaUFos 'Vultures Of North' sees Orbit Culture honing their craft to perfection, delivering on all fronts and offering an enticing glimpse into their forthcoming album. Vocalist / guitarist Niklas Karlsson comments on the message and tone behind the single: "We feel that we’ve been waiting for too long now to get out there and play due to the pandemic. During COVID, of course, our fanbase has grown very strong and under the same banner, the antlers emblem, we’ll head out there together stronger than ever before. With this huge US tour coming up, we felt that we’re going to head out there with a new fast and heavy song. With all the European dates this summer that have gone so well, it’s time to put in a higher gear with this new song into the frontline. The riffs and the instrumental side of this track was born out of us wanting a song that just hammers through concrete. A simple 4/4 on the drums and an angry ‘Sawish’ riff on top. "With ‘Strangler,' from our latest EP Shaman, being the latest video we put out, we wanted to create something that would be totally opposite of both that track and video. We teamed up with Riivata Visuals, who made our music video for 'Mute The Silent' back in 2021, to make the video for this one. It’s an angry song. Beware of every one of us under the flag, we are coming for you." https://www.orbitculture.com/ https://www.facebook.com/OrbitCulture/ https://www.instagram.com/orbitculture twitter.com/orbitculture https://www.youtube.com/user/OrbitCultureOfficial Swedish symphonic progressive metallers Hexed to release their new album "Pagans Rising" on September 30 via ViciSolum Productions!
