Kingdom of Nothingness from Turkish Black Metal duo Zifir is out now on Duplicate Records. The album is available on Spotify, Youtube, iTunes, Bandcamp and all other digital platforms. Stream the album in its entirety at https://youtu.be/10k4h0twmrw CD/Vinyl: https://goo.gl/tE8nTh Digital: https://zifir.bandcamp.com/album/kingdom-of-nothingness Zifir have existed for more than a decade in the deep confines of the underground, previously releasing two full-lengths and one split album with Cult Of Erinyes. Now, with their third album Kingdom Of Nothingness, the Turkish two-piece of Onur Onok and Nursuz have crafted a unique piece of darkness. Skillfully blending eastern European and Scandinavian influences into their very own sound, Zifir evoke haunting imagery of desolate fields and vast ruins, all soiled in blood. Rather than the standard "Hail Satan" perspective, lyrically Kingdom Of Nothingness is a condemnation of all man made religion, seen from a Turkish point of view. Watch "I hate You" here: https://youtu.be/Qd4x6PdTeYo Comments the band: "Here it is; our very first official video, “I Hate You”, which is taken from our debut album “One Reality” released in 2003. Some very old vaults opened and the video has surfaced for the first time in almost 15 years since the release of the album. It is more than ten years since even we last saw it. So, we hope you will enjoy it!" Pitch Black Process frontman Emrah Demirel adds: "It may seem strange that we have unleashed this old video now, but even though the sound is not so good, the music is not so "original" and the production isn't good either, but we wanted to post this video anyway. Lets call it "the progress of these last 15 years"! This is what we were and where we came from." (photo below: the band in 2003) Pitch Black Process (formerly known as Affliction) was formed in 1999. Their first two albums “One Reality” (out in May 2003) and “Execution is Necessary” (released in July 2007) got very good response nationwide and also from abroad. In November 2009 they hit the road for their first European tour playing over 20 gigs (being the longest tour which any Turkish band had ever made abroad until then), followed up by the 18-shows European tour with Warbringrt, in February 2010. Before the tour with Warbringer, Pitch Black Process signed a sponsorship deal with one of the most well-known guitar companies in the world, PRS, which was another ‘debut’ for Turkey. None of any Turkish bands had signed a sponsorship agreement with such a big brand in music industry. The 3rd album “Hand of God?” was produced by Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Meshuggah, Soilwork, etc) at Dugout Studios, came out in June 2013. In September 2013, Pitch Black Process played on main stage at the 82nd Izmir International Fair, being the first ever metal band to play on the fair’s history. In 2015, Pitch Black Process became part of EVH and Fender. In November 2015 the band returned to Dugout Studios to record their 4th album, “Derin” which was released in December 2016, in Turkey on Atlantis Yapim / EMP Label Group and on Ellefson Music Productions / SPV in Europe. This is an intense and guttural experience, greatly expanding on the bands original sound and marks another step in the constant evolution of the 5 members of the group. The recent lyrics video for Cessation, the opening track for the album, is an excellent example of where Carnac are heading and great way to kick start the album. Times Undone takes on the story of a daughter escaping with her father from the invasion of their land by hordes, while gradually losing her friends and loved ones to sacrifice, rape and much more. The 46-minute effort blends death metal and black metal in a progressive manner. It also sees the band adapt a much darker sound. The album was mixed and mastered by Achilleas Kalantzis (Aenaon, Katavasia, Varathron) and will be released in digital format via Sliptrick Records. Physical copies will follow at a later date. Alpha Omega Management is excited to announce the signing of the Turkish metallers Pitch Black Process (aka PBP)! The band's latest effort, "Derin", was released in December 2016 in Turkey on Atlantis Yapim/EMP Label Group and on EMP Underground/SPV in Europe. Comments the band: "Stoked to announce that we just joined Alpha Omega’s family which is one of the best and fast growing management and booking firms of recent times. We are very excited to see what the future hold for us on this new journey with Alpha Omega’s great team. Stay tuned for the news \m/" Alpha Omega Management adds: "We are truly thrilled welcoming these great hard working guys in Pitch Black Process to our roster family! They've conquered their audience wherever they've played so far. With their right attitude, musical ingredients and tenacity, PBP are ready for bigger stages. Stay tuned for next announcements!" Pitch Black Process, formerly known as Affliction, was initially formed in 1999. Their first two albums “One Reality” (out in May 2003) and “Execution is Necessary” (released in July 2007) got very good response nationwide and also from abroad. In November 2009 they hit the road for their first European tour playing over 20 gigs (being the longest tour which any Turkish band had ever made abroad until then), followed up by the 18-shows European tour with Varbringer, in February 2010. Before the tour with Warbringer, Pitch Black Process (back then still "Affliction") signed a sponsorship deal with one of the most well-known guitar companies in the world, PRS, which was another ‘debut’ for Turkey. None of any Turkish bands had signed a sponsorship agreement with such a big brand in music industry. Due to some misleading information in the cyber world and abroad, Affliction made a hard decision and they changed the name of the band after 12 years and they decided to move forward as Pitch Black Process. In January 2011 the band went to Sweden to record their 3rd album, with the well-known producer Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Meshuggah, Soilwork, etc) at Dugout Studios, but due some unexpected delays the album came out finally in June 2013. In September 2013, Pitch Black Process played on main stage at the 82nd Izmir International Fair, being the first ever metal band to play on the fair’s history. In 2015, Pitch Black Process became part of EVH and Fender. In November 2015 the band returned to Dugout Studios to record their 4th album. After 4 weeks of production “Derin” was completed as a result of amazing chemistry between the band and Bergstrand. The album, with 2 old and well-known Turkish song covers and 3 English-Turkish mixed songs, is a very special album for Pitch Black Process. "Derin" was released in December 2016, in Turkey on Atlantis Yapim/EMP Label Group and on Ellefson Music Productions/SPV in Europe.
