The band are set to release their long-awaited third studio album, "Dissonants", on February 26th via Rise Records. Fans can pre-order the new album in a variety of formats and bundles at iTunes and hlh.merchnow.com. When pre-ordering, fans will receive the single 'Colourblind' instantly.
"Colourblind is about our cultural obsession with binary ideas - we are black or white, politically left or right, for or against, right or wrong. We’re so caught up in black, white and the infinite shades of grey we forget that we live in a world of colour - those we can see and then even deeper, beyond and between." says frontman Trenton Woodley.
In anticipation of the release, the band has today unveiled a brand new video for 'Colourblind' in association with Billboard magazine.
Hopeless Records is excited to announce the signing of electro-pop act, The Ready Set. Along with the signing news, The Ready Set has announced that the band will be releasing their new album, 'I Will Be Nothing Without Your Love', on April 8, 2016. The music video for the first single, 'Good Enough', can be viewed here. The new album is now available to pre-order on iTunes with a free instant download of 'Good Enough' here. 'I Will Be Nothing Without Your Love' - an album full of pop gems with infectious tropical backbeats - marks some of The Ready Set's strongest work to date. “The record as a whole feels like a reinvention of myself,” says Jordan Witzigreuter of The Ready Set. “I stripped everything down and produced the whole thing by myself from top to bottom, so it could feel 100% true to what I wanted it to be. It's a fresh start.”
The Ready Set will be embarking on tour in the U.S. with a number of headlining dates later this month, followed by The Fight For Something tour with Tonight Alive, Set It Off, and Say We Can Fly, which kicks off on March 1st. Please see below for dates.

Jordan Witzigreuter was only 20 years old when nearly overnight, the young Indiana-born musician—who had spent the better part of his teens writing an arsenal of illegally catchy, electro-pop songs—was plucked from near obscurity and thrust into the spotlight. Six years have passed since the release of The Ready Set’s debut album, I’m Alive, I’m Dreaming, which hit No. 3 on Billboard’s Heatseakers chart, thanks to the platinum-selling success of the LP’s first single, “Love Like Woe. 2011 saw the release of The Ready Set’s sophomore album Feel Good Now and the hit song “Young Forever.” The band’s most recent album, 2014’s The Bad & The Better, charted at #75 on the Billboard 200. The Ready Set has toured with The Wanted, Carly Rae Jepsen, Cher Loyd, Breathe Carolina, We The Kings, and more.

After having been able to gain experience singing with Stevie Wonder’s musical director and bass player, Nate Watts, and doing backing vocals for Coree Richards of Damage, lead singer Grace has now started her own musical project with friends Talullah and Lorena. With the help of producers Steve Snead and Mat Condon, who has previously played keyboard in Katie Melua’s band, the newcomers comprise remarkable vocal skills with the spirit of rebellious girl power. Their funky debut single ‘If Your Heart Is There’ is a melodic bubble gum explosion that creates the kind of buzz that makes you get out of bed in the morning. The track features rapper XYM who is known for having played alongside Colin Farrell in the film London Boulevard.
The London based group combines their music with a world view that sees women stepping out of a narrowly defined image which reduces them to merely being pretty, as Grace puts it: “Sometimes people like to see a woman with balls. The masculine side of women is not so often portrayed in the media. Annie Lennox, Kate Bush, Madonna have done it. It makes pop art more interesting.”
Grace started singing at the age of seven. She used to be in a girl gang in high school and kept skipping classes to make videos as part of a production company she created with two of her friends in which they “used to run around screaming creating Blair Witch Project type scream flicks.” She says: “They used to call us the Kill Twins.”
The Truebelles are a band, an art collective and a feminist statement about the differences between men and women when it comes to communication – which, ideally, they’d like to overcome with their work. Difficulties of communication between the two sexes has been part of the story of how ‘If Your Heart Is There’ and the entire project, in fact, has come to life. The narrative of their song writing is specifically pro-female and committed to the idea of presenting women as fun and exciting.
When Grace first moved to London and met producer Steve she initially refused to work with him because she “thought he was a weirdo”. It took another two years to get her in the studio to record the track. Having been able to overcome their very own communication problems, The Truebelles are now ready to revive modern feminist pop with their debut single taken from the upcoming album ‘Truebelles Coming’.
The single ‘If Your Heart Is There’ is out on 12th February 2016.
UK dance collective, LuvBug are back and ready to drop a fresh tune on the UK charts. New single, “Best Is Yet To Come” is available to pre-order from Feb 5th and will be released April 15th via Polydor Records.
LuvBug – a DJ-producer-dance act, led by Marvin Humes – follows up a successful 2015 which saw LuvBug have two Top 20 singles in the UK Charts, “Resonance” ft. Talay Riley and “Revive (Say Something)” ft. Mark Asari and was co-written with MNEK.
On top of this LuvBug have had a string of high-profile remixes to its name ranging from David Zowie ‘House Every Weekend’, MNEK and Zara Larsson ‘Never Forget You’, Karen Harding ‘Say Something’ and more recently Fleur East’s ‘Sax’.
Inspired by the sounds coming out of the European-dancefloors, “Best Is Yet To Come”, is a song that feels current, fresh and big. “It's a record that hits you immediately, says Marvin, “the vocal, the subject, the lyric, the beat, everything. It's infectious and it's a record that can be received universally."
LuvBug have been building up a loyal fanbase and a solid-live plot over the past year and half, including a DJ residency at the iconic Pacha & Café Mambo in Ibiza, DJing with Diplo and David Guetta in Las Vegas, plus UK festivals including Wireless and the dance stage at V Festival.
