Tasmania's premier Post-Hardcore act, Save The Clock Tower, are returning with their brand new track "White Cross", the first track from their forthcoming full-length album "The Familiar // The Decay", which will be released worldwide on July 1st through the USA's Bullet Tooth Records. The firebrand track is available in iTunes and Spotify today Friday May 27th. The blistering single comes with a visceral film clip and premiered at Blunt Magazine and triple j's.
The stunning vision and concepts in the "White Cross" video were all dreamed into life through director Ben Wrigley and produced by Third Eye Visuals. They align seamlessly with the dark, devilish themes of the track, which was produced by Andreas Magnusson (The Black Dahlia Murder, Born of Osiris). Gathering influence from across punk, hardcore, metalcore and rock genres, Save The Clock Tower re-laid the foundation of their band with a mission to be meaningful as well as aggressive. The band has worked tirelessly to improve themselves and develop a very refined and professional sound that has impressed fans and critics from across Australia and brought them attention from the USA and beyond. Save the Clock Tower have supported a long line of great bands such as Alesana, Bleeding Through, Parkway Drive, Northlane, The Amity Affliction, Dream on Dreamer and have made appearances at the critically acclaimed charity event, Breath of Life Festival in Tasmania. They are proudly endorsed by Ibanez Guitars, ESP Guitars, Ernie Ball, Line 6, Truth Custom Drums, Inferno music and Australis music. The band have found a new management partnership earlier this year alongside ArowAgency's Elizabeth Browne and Tamara Georgopoulos and are continuing their relationship with US label Bullet Tooth Records' Josh Grabelle. Single 'White Cross' will be available on Spotify and iTunes today Friday May 27th and LP "The Familiar // The Decay" will drop July 1st, both via Bullet Tooth Records.

Australian rock band Hands Like Houses have released new video for 'Degrees Of Separation', one of the standout tracks off their third studio album, "Dissonants". The band have partnered with Rock Sound to premier new video 'Degrees Of Separation' Watch it now here Singer Trenton spoke of new video for 'Degrees Of Separation' and said 'We wanted to explore a visual, art based video this time rather than one focused on performance. The whole video is meant to be a subtle juxtaposition of ideas, where nothing quite belongs, yet we're stuck with those moments and environments and have to wait them out.' He continues "I feel like Degrees encapsulates the struggles of creating Dissonants - both the time and creative challenges involved. We wrote much of the album in a snowy winter setting (a very alien thing to us Australians!) that made it feel like it was the perfect metaphor for trying to make something worthwhile while being so far from where you belong. The upbeat vibe contrasts the fairly dark and personal lyric matter, so it's a fun song to crank live while still keeping it real and grounded. " Hands Like Houses' recent album Dissonants was produced by James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Underoath), who helmed the band’s 2013 breakout album Unimagine. https://www.facebook.com/handslikehouses Angelspit has signed with Negative Gain Productions at its headquarters in Chicago. The new deal adds Angelspit's new album, Cult of Fake, to Negative Gain's already strong roster of bands, including The Gothsicles and Mr. Kitty. Made popular for its driving industrial sound, Angelspit sees the new partnership as a perfect match. "Negative Gain pushes dance acts with an alternative edge, and our new album will fit right in," says Zoog Von Rock. Already funded by Kickstarter, the album will receive the widespread push it needs thanks to Negative Gain. "We are always looking at new ways to add great music to our already diverse roster of great artists," added Roger Jarvis, co-founder of Negative Gain. "You are going to love this album just as much as we do!" Cult of Fake is Angelspit’s sixth studio album, due June 6, 2016 through Negative Gain. The album uses the harsh industrial percussion sampled from Angelspit’s early albums, now mixed with club destroying beats. Kickstarted by the fans, Cult of Fake is Angelspit’s first album to focus on dance music without sacrificing its established sound. www.angelspit.net www.facebook.com/angelspitmusic Having performed on Australia’s number 1 breakfast show ‘The Morning Show’ as well as performing for Rugby League team The South Sydney Rabbitohs during half-time, Sydney singer / songwriter Jo Cooper is now aiming to push her talents global with this feel good electro-pop single, ‘Touch The Sky’. The fun party song features an explosively catchy chorus and energetic synth-driven instrumental, produced by Brisbane beat smith Stuart Stuart. Grammy Award winning engineer Bob Ludwig (Madonna, Daft Punk, Coldplay, Nirvana, Train, Mariah Carey, David Bowie) personally quoted the track as “Catchy as Hell”. Australia may be exiting summer right now, but here in the Northern hemisphere it’s right on time! Check it out below: A self-confessed workaholic, Jo has previously dealt with work stress that left her so ill she had to be rushed to hospital. Recording her debut album hasn’t been any less stressful for Jo, she had to deal with a difficult producer who overcharged her only to find out she needed to record the entire album again from scratch with another producer. ‘Touch the Sky’ sees the artist lyrically relinquishing all the stress in her life and focusing on the good. ‘It’s an uplifting song, about brushing off the day and going out and feeling good about life’, explains Jo Cooper. This single follows the success of her 2013 song ‘Stupid Boy’, a track which gained international attention with its Ministry of Sound house remix. Produced by London electronic duo Hoxton Whores, the remix climbed into the top 100 reaching 20 on UK’s Music Week Club Charts. In 2014 Jo released her highly anticipated debut EP, "Running Free", along with her empowering single ‘Don’t Turn Back’, skilfully tackling the heavy topic of domestic abuse. Her debut album is now in the works, due for release mid 2016, with single 'Touch the Sky' out May 20th. https://www.facebook.com/JoCooperSings With an impressive following in their native Australia, afro-infused electro-funk pioneers Broadway Sounds will finally be bringing their effervescent retro fun to the rest of the world, with an EP release scheduled ahead of some UK festival appearances this summer.
