California pirate faction, The Dread Crew Of Oddwood, has dispatched the routing of their massive Lawful Evil North American tour.
The mighty landlocked trek will consume the majority of August and September, and will see The Dread Crew Of Oddwood storming a wide array of venues and Renaissance Faires across the US and Canada, keelhauling audiences with their unique brew of well-executed, acoustic heavy mahogany. The four Canadian gigs and two in Florida will also see the outfit joined by Wilderun, and the opening show in Los Angeles on August 12th will include a special one-off West Coast set by fellow seafaring cohorts, Swashbuckle. Additional shows are likely to be added to the existing itinerary, so watch for updates in the coming weeks.
Declares the outfit's Stark Cordwain on the upcoming raid, "We are returning to some of our favourite North American cities, armed to the beards with fresh acoustic antics! Lawful Evil is coming for you, so crack open a fine whiskey, get ready to party, and hold onto your butts!"
The widespread invasion comes in the wake of The Dread Crew Of Oddwood's independently-released fourth album, "Lawful Evil", which was thunderously let out of the cannons upon the public earlier this year. A non-stop auditory rampage which discharges fourteen debauchery-ridden rippers intoxicating the listener with a bounty of top-shelf, hard-partying action, Lawful Evil was recorded at Seahorse Sound, mixed by Aksu Hanttu (Korpiklaani, Shade Empire). and mastered by Svante Forsbäck (Korpiklaani, Apocalyptica, Dragonforce, Rammstein) at Chartmakers Audio Mastering. The record bears contributions from several guest vocalists, including Brittney Slayes (Unleash The Archers), Admiral Nobeard (Swashbuckle), and others. The cover art for the album was created by Mark Gibbons (World Of Warcraft, League Of Legends, Warhammer).
