_ATF, explain the band's genre without using genre-tagging or cliches

Never been one to use cliches or sub-genres, too much time is wasted arguing over such a minor detail, we play metal how we like it to sound, we have our hints of death metal, but with many very melodic sections. Best quote ever in a review was "it's a well oiled bulldozer" or "flat out aural battery"

How does it feel for you to play Red Roar Festival? Sum up Red Roar in one sentence. Would this be ATF's biggest appearance to date and if yes sum up the feeling

We feel very privileged to be playing Red Roar, its local to us, a great venue with great environment. The highest privilege is being able to play alongside great local acts, and some well established headliners!

Not quite ATF's biggest show to date, I'd say that was the perfect storm at the Underworld, but definitely close to it considering some of the band's on this bill. We'll be bringing it hard on Monday 3rd, that's for sure (headlining 2nd stage at 9pm)

What are you looking forward to most besides playing?

Beer......definitely the beer! We like alcohol in this band!

What is ATF's future plans?

Few small gigs lined up over the next few months to keep us active, and still writing for plans for a full debut album in early 2013, with plans for a big album launch! So keep eyes and ears peeled!

Finally are there any hellos, thank you's, etc that you wish to say?

Our girlfriends support us massively throughout everything, so massive thanks to them, and everyone that ever came to see us play! Also to Mr Fillary for the incredible shows we've played that have been through him!

Electrifyingly Sexual Balls-Out Mayhem

How does it feel for you to play Red Roar Festival? Sum up Red Roar in one sentence. Would this be Dymünd Vyper's biggest appearance to date and if yes sum up the feeling

It's really rather exciting. This is easily our biggest show yet, and supporting Praying Mantis (who are headlining the 7th) is an honour.

What are you looking forward to most besides playing?

Watching Spit Like This. Ed (our guitarist) saw them in June 2008 and says good things about them. Definitely stick around to watch them after our set.

What is Dymünd Vyper's future plans?

We're currently writing and recording our EP. We're very happy with 3 of our songs at the moment which you will probably hear at our show. We're planning a few shows in Switzerland for Christmas too.

Finally are there any hellos, thank you's, etc that you wish to say?

Well obviously a huge thank you to Adam of Red Roar who put on and organised this amazing event. It's going to be incredible, there's a real buzz about it. We'd also like to thank Alex, our stand-in vocalist who will be joining us for this show. He is an amazing talent, so don't be out off by the title "stand-in".
