The Australian PR, booking and management agency Black-Roos Entertainment has expanded the reach of their services by establishing outposts (representations) in Russia, China, India, Peru, Colombia, Brazil, the Baltic States, Poland, Ukraine, Germany, Singapore and the Philippines. Besides talking to a broader audience, this enables the agency to offer their services also for bands who do not speak English.
Black-Roos Entertainment has been established only in 2017 but is growing fast. The agency is behind the metal event, Metal United World Wide, a community project where over 400 bands played in 40 countries and 60 cities on the same date under the same banner. The agency also coordinates and promotes the Australian version, Metal United Down Under. Currently 16 artists are signed to Black-Roos Entertainment's booking and management service. The agency is now further expanding the promotional services.
The goal of Black-Roos Entertainment is to support the Undergound and to reach out to new regions giving the bands a chance to get heard. Founder Michael states:-
"The idea of the 'outposts' was born after the event Metal United World Wide when we worked with so many bands and promoters to prepare that one night of metal. After I saw the dedication and passion in the the various countries, I was questioning why we are not forming a team and helping each other beyond Metal United World Wide. So, we build this awesome team and to support each other's scene further. We are still following the Metal United World Wide motto: United We Stand, Divided We Fall!"
The Black-Roos Entertainment team will be reinforced by:
Agrita (Riga, Latvia), Ana (Arequipa, Peru), Angelo (Berlin, Germany), Douglas (Sao Paolo, Brazil), Jithin (Kochi, India), Jorge (Medellin, Colombia), Meng Li (Beijing, China), Mikael (Singapore & Cebu, Philippines), Sergei (Moscow, Russia) and Vladimir (Szczecin, Poland & Kiev, Ukraine).
Our contacts are partners who are somehow involved in their scene, mostly with either a band or an agency: Agrita, Ana, Mikael and Vladimir run booking/promotion/touring/management agencies (THP Production, Psycho Producciones, Vent Box Productions and Metalurg respectively). Angelo, Jithin, Meng Li and Sergei play in bands (What's Left Behind, Prophets of Yahweh, Ancestor and FS Projekt). Meng Li also has a label, Alchemy Media. With our partners/team, we are strengthening each other's network and services.
For more information visit the website www.black-roos.com or the agency's Facebook page.
Metal United World Wide (MUWW) is a project which brings together metal bands, fans, show organisers, media and other supporters for one big event. The idea is to have metal shows all over the world on the same date identified by the same banner. Everybody can be part and shows are individually organized. The aim is to create a world wide feeling of community as well as attract attention to the performing bands who are predominantly underground bands.
A community project needs community support. The project does not charge participation fees but relies on the support of the metal community. Around 20 show organisers have already agreed to put on a show on 5 May 2018 so far and there are a number of others interested. Below this text and at our website is the updated overview: www.metal-united-world-wide.com

Wacken Open Air has agreed to support our project. Please visit our list of partners to find out who else is on board. The list will be growing rapidly and of course you can be part.

Ellefson Coffee Co, the premium coffee brand of Java connoisseur, author, and rock star David Ellefson of Megadeth, has officially unleashed it’s second blend Kenya Thrash. Packaged in a distinctive red metallic bag, Kenya Thrash is a bold high-octane blend of 90% Kenya-Kichwa Arabica Beans, and 10% India Robusta, roasted with a kick, for a high blend of flavour and function. An “Earthy and Savory” blend, with distinct notes of Grapefruit and Black Pepper, Kenya Thrash is a guaranteed wake up call to body, mind, and taste-buds.
“Thrash” is the follow-up to Roast In Peace, the highly celebrated original Dark Roast Blend, small-batch roasted from 100% Brazilian Arabica, with distinctive notes of “Chocolate, Dark Caramel, and Roasted Nuts”, already receiving high praise from coffee lovers and media alike. With features on major web outlets like Blabbermouth, Brave Words, a segment with Ellefson on Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante’s Coffee podcast, and a feature in the July issue of Revolver Magazine, and high profile artists like Hellyeah, Sevendust and Lamb of God publicly singing it’s praises, Roast In Peace has already become a staple in the mugs of the Rock N’ Roll elite.
But, says Ellefson, Roast In Peace is more than just a distinctive coffee offering, but also a mission statement.
“My love for coffee has accompanied me around the world for my entire musical career. Just like the spirit of a culture or the melody of a song, the enjoyment of coffee brings people together and creates harmony among us. The beans in this bag are traceable to their global origin and exemplify the spirit and culture of the people who grew them."
"It is my aim to bring this roast to our tables and awake our taste buds, fire up our rock n roll spirits and continue the global fellowship of music, art and coffee. May you, Roast in Peace!"
Ellefson Coffee Co blends are artfully small batch roasted by Parliament Coffee Roasters, and the blends hand picked by Ellefson himself. Both blends are available in 12 OZ Whole Bean (or Ground) bags directly from empmerch.com.
