Cheap beer and endless movie-nights helped Nightmen create their debut LP ”Fifteen Minutes of Pain”, a 28-minute primitive Rock ’n’ Roll-album filled with power-pop hooks and ingenious songwriting. The three vocalists sing with equal measures of punk snottiness and sugary sweetness. The diversity of having three singers makes “Fifteen Minutes of Pain” a dynamic garage-rock anthem. Nightmen are Ramones tangled up with Dead Moon and The Cars. ”Fifteen Minutes of Pain”, a twelve track killer-LP straight from the heart to be released the 15th of April on Lövely Records. Christine, Tony, Nopan and Erik have spent time in notorious Swedish acts such as MF/MB/, Terrible Feelings, and Yast, although Nightmen is something completely different from those bands. Nightmen’s debut EP ”Girl For You" was lovingly described as being ”somewhere in the no-mans land between hard and soft, between sweet Power Pop and Rock ’n’ Roll. The music is recorded in 2015 but the sound is warm and comforting, like a couch covered in velvet. It reminds you of how things used to be in the good ol’ days.” Live Dates

Tänään julkistettiin myös Venior in esiintyminen ensi kesän YleXPopissa Lahdessa 4. kesäkuuta. Kesällä Venior in voi nähdä livenä myös mm. Provinssissa 1. heinäkuuta ja Flow Festivalilla 14. elokuuta. ”Robber”- kappaleen syntyyn liittyy erikoinen yhteensattuma: “Yhtenä maanantaiaamuna olin yksin kotonani Tukholmassa. Lisää keikkajulkistuksia on tiedossa myöhemmin. Venior on mukana Ruotsin Spotifyn Spotlight on 2016 - kampanjassa, johon Spotify on valinnut artisteja, joiden he uskovat tekevän läpimurron tänä vuonna. Venior on kampanjan ainoa suomalaisartisti ja samalla ensimmäinen suomalainen, joka arvostetulle listalle on valittu. Aiempien vuosien Spotlight-listalla olleita artisteja ovat mm. Kygo, Hozier, James Bay, Tove Lo ja Seinabo Sey. Myös YleX uskoo Venior in breikkaamiseen, sillä YleX:n musiikkitoimitus valitsi hänet ”YleX Läpimurto 2016” - palkinnon voittajaksi. Brittiblogi One Stop Record Shop kuvailee Venior ia seuraavasti: “If we had to place bets on the artists set for stardom in 2016, our money would more than likely be thrust in Venior’s direction.” Spotify iTunes Deezer www.venior.com https://www.facebook.com/VeniorOfficial We all know how well K-Pop has done over the last decade or so, not to mention the obvious global viral success of 'Gangnam Style' by K-Pop artist Psy. But it's no mystery that Germany, who over the years have become slightly obsessed with the whole Visual Kei / Manga aesthetics through the likes of the now defunct band Cinema Bizarre and pop rockers Tokio Hotel, are to stop at nothing when it comes to sending what arguably could be said as one of the most intriguing Eurovision entry's by Germany. Here's hoping the 18-year old won't buckle under the pressure of such a grandeur event, not that she should have any long-lasting worries having romped to the finale of “The Voice of Germany” last December Dubbed the "Miss Manga", Jamie-Lee garnered her attention whilst being a part of “The Voice” team von Michi Beck & Smudo (Die Fantastischen Vier), this unique musician hasn't let her success control her and instead has remained focused on what she wants to achieve, namely visit Korea, live as a vegan and dedicate herself to her love of the Japanese “Decora Kei” style. Said style has in fact through her gone viral, with her outfits trending across social media and this infectious cultural clash between German nationality and Far Eastern pop music will make her a hot contender to win Eurovision 2016, if only for originality. With Jamie Lee's new album "Berlin" set to drop on 29th April, can we expect this teenage pop princess to be as kawaii as her music? Let's hope so. Check out her Eurovision song entry below (Eurovision is on the 14th May, coming live from Stockholm after Sweden's Måns Zelmerlöw won it last year):- 'Ghost' is not your average cheesy lovey-dovey romance song, it in fact looks at the more emotional side to the feeling, one that Jamie Lee found easy to express as she explains:- "I am an emotional being. I might sometimes appear a little loud or provocative, but I am also a very deep person. I need the ups and downs of life. Tough times are needed too, they make us enjoy the good times more.” With all participants, it's 100% effort for the performance but for the result? Well this is 50% destiny and 50% luck, voters can propel artists into international stardom such as ABBA, disrupt the traditional pop entry history through Heavy Metallers Lordi, but ultimately choose an artist who has won over hearts from well over 40 countries thus making them an overnight success. Speaking of luck, the Irish have the horse shoe and Jamie Lee has a pendant given to her by her role models and coaches of “The Voice of Germany”, Michi Beck and Smudo. This pendant will be worn by her on the night. Of course she wants to win, who wouldn't? But you can be too optimistic, however Jamie Lee feels that being there is an achievement worth equal recognition as potentially winning it:- “It is a huge honour to have been chosen to participate in the ESC and to represent Germany in Stockholm. Taking part in this contest is for me an amazing opportunity to bring people closer to my music. Music is my life; it was always my absolute dream to perform in front of a large audience. I so look forward to it!” "Berlin" TRACKLIST:

Its Your Love has been directed by Jodie Canwell (Spring King, EERA) who said this of the video. "I wanted to shoot a video that was as exhausting and energetic as the continuous beat in the song" Extensive touring around the release of debut EP Silent Type, gave a fresh perspective on certain things in Hannah's life. Its Your Love was written over this touring period and sees Hannah experiment further sonically with interesting sounds and textures and vintage drum machines. Winning a Rhythm Ace on Ebay, became the musical catalyst for the EP as well as the time previously spent collaborating with artists such as Rob Ellis (Torres, Anna Calvi, PJ Harvey) and Deb Goodge (My Bloody Valentine) .The completion of this EP marked the end of a life chapter, and the beginning of a new one. Hannah said of the EP: "Sometimes in life it feels as though people are holding a gun to your head, and you have to suck it up and get on with it. I wanted the music to replicate that repetitive feeling of frustration. This whole EP is really about that realisation, in three chapters." Its Your Love has been produced by Hannah and mixed by Tarek Musa of Spring King and offers an artist in full command of her voice and her instrument, a woman who knows exactly what she wants to offer listeners and who isn’t afraid to cover sunlight with clouds. The title track sees the protagonist trapped inside a small wooden drum machine, and driven mad by the Bossa nova. Hannah has announced her first UK headline tour, the news follows stunning headline shows at St. Pancras Church and Southbank Centre’s Purcell Room and support tours with the likes of Ezra Furman, Thurston Moore and Gaz Coombes including an incredible Roundhouse 'In The Round' show.
