LA rockers Halo Circus release music video for "Band Aid" in advance of new EP release May 530/4/2017 Halo Circus are pleased to present the official video for “Band Aid,” co-written by Paul Williams and featured on the band’s upcoming EP, The East Lansing Sessions, out May 5. Check it out HERE. Lead singer Allison Iraheta states, “This video was shot entirely in Taft, Calif., one of the 30 cities that brought us to their town last fall on our first-ever fully crowdfunded American tour. We wanted to capture our experience, both visually and emotionally. When we were driving through the country and staying in people’s homes, it was very clear to us that this is not a divided country. What we saw were good people dazed by hard times and towns struggling for the dignity of better days. We have no political agenda or affiliation. Our agenda is love.” Director/Editor: Christopher Rucinski Cinematographer: Grzegorz Gill Camera Assistant/Gaffer: Aaron Granillo Colorist: Faust Pierfederici Executive Producers: Matthew Hager and Allison Iraheta Producer: Kenny Neher Halo Circus will release their new EP “The East Lansing Sessions" on May 5. Pre-order is available on Halo Circus' website HERE. Bilingual rock band Halo Circus was co-founded by former American Idol star Allison Iraheta and multi-platinum producer, producer and bassist Matthew Hager (Duran Duran, Scott Weil); joined on guitar by Brian Stead. Refreshing, arresting and completely original, Halo Circus have developed a reputation for their impressive live performances. The band released their highly anticipated debut full-length album, Bunny, on June 24, 2016. The album has already received a great deal of critical acclaim, including one LA Music Critic award for Best Pop Female Artist (Allison Iraheta) and four nominations: Best Rock Band; Best Pop Female; Best Single (Desire); and Best Video (Desire).

In the early 2010’s while forming the band they took influences from the Japanese Visual Kei scene, but have recently shifted closer towards their melancholic Finnish roots. Before the recent language change Karmia warmed up shows for a few Visual Kei artist’s visiting Finland, performed at Anime conventions and released a bunch of self-financed songs and videos in English and even in Japanese. After releasing a single called “Mistakes” combining English and Finnish lyrics together in one song, their native one started to feel more appealing. “After a long search we feel we have found our own style. Welcome to the world of Karmia, where you can always see the dark at the end of the tunnel”, comments the band’s lead guitarist ANA. Almost two years has passed since her album “Kiddo” was released in June 2015 - highly acclaimed by critics and celebrated by fans. This time around Tove Styrke turns her gaze inwards: it’s soft with a whispering, gentle, yet strong voice. "Say My Name" is about wanting to be with a person and that nothing else matters. Co-written and produced by fellow Swede Elof Loelv who co-produced Rihanna’s track ”Stay" feat. Mikky Ekko and has also worked with acts like Zara Larsson and Icona Pop. “There's a reason why so much music is about sex and love” says Tove Styrke. ”it is linked to one's worst and best experiences. I have not written about love before because I didn’t want to write another love song. But I have changed. I am tired of being angry, right now I just need to make music that makes me feel good” ”The stronger I sing, the less I can affect the song. The more quiet I sing, the greater the differences will be in the tone and texture. A lot of people are afraid to talk loudly, but there is a strength to talking quietly - people really have to listen to you. There’s no need to try to be a man in a man’s world.” "Say My Name" (Sony Music / RCA) will be released on April 28th. Magazine, and a packed-out headline tour across the UK, Vukovi have revealed a thought provoking new video for their single, ‘Weirdo’, and confirmed UK headline tour dates beginning in May, and festival appearances. “This video is about raising awareness to the victimisation and cultural impact that bullying, and more specifically cyber bullying, has on young people in today's digital age,” frontwoman Janine Shilstone explains. "The idea came after chatting to numerous fans at our shows and learning about the hell they go through at school because they like "weird music" or dress differently. They would tell me that our music made them feel like they fit in somewhere and our shows were a place to meet like-minded people. The girls featured in our video have all been victims of cyber bullying at an extreme level, and for them to be a part of this is not only courageous but a massive fuck you to the people that made them feel the way they did. If these girls can stand up and do it, we all can. And if this video makes any one victim not feel alone, then we've done our job. I want people to embrace their quirks and be proud that they don't fit the mould. Embrace the weirdo in you. #weirdo4lyf” Watch ‘Weirdo’ here - https://youtu.be/0u0yMynjIEw March 2017 saw the long-awaited release of Vukovi’s debut album receive rave reviews. Heralded as “a Vuk-ing brilliant debut” and awarded 5K’s by Kerrang! Magazine, who then saw frontwoman Janine immortalised in Ray Zel’s iconic Pandora comic strip, whilst Rock Sound dubbed it “packed with more fizz and colour than a bath bomb in a vat of Irn-Bru”. ‘Vukovi’ is out now via LAB Records and available to order here - http://vukovi.tmstor.es/.
