Somerset Melodic hardcore band Landscapes, will release their debut full length on 2nd July 2012. ‘Life Gone Wrong’ is the debut album from Landscapes and their first release on City Of Gold Records. The album is 9 tracks of passionate melodic hardcore which encompass songs of bleak despair, and an unconscious self evaluation of how to deal with life as it's set out before us all.
"We've come a long way since our E.P 'Reminiscence'. We Recorded the album with Neil Kennedy @ The Ranch Production House earlier this year with the intention of making something different to what was expected of us and that is exactly what we feel we have accomplished as a natural progression. There's a distinguished feeling of the conscious mind acting as a pillar strength that even the insane can rely on and we feel this record reaches out and touches that which is something we are extremely proud of" comments Shaun Milton (vocals) Landscapes bring the rawness of American Nightmare and Go It Alone, and mixes them with the darker and epic sounds of bands like The Cure. Life Gone Wrong is an album that is so fresh that it will have you listening on repeat. The band have previously toured the UK and Europe extensively, and shared the stages with Defeater, Carpathian, Another Breath, Ceremony, Miles Away, The Legacy, This Is Hell, La Dispute, Touche Amore, Last Witness, Your Demise, Bronx and more.
