The extraordinarily talented Rebecca Ferguson has produced her new album ‘Superwoman’. It is set to be released 14th October and her first single ‘Bones’ will be available from 2nd September.

Forged from heartbreak and a tale of lover’s abandonment combined with the bittersweet joy of giving birth to his child, ‘Superwoman’ is infused with the strength of a woman who has finally taken control. It is the ultimate soundtrack for anyone who has ever had to build themselves back up after a heartbreak Rebecca is stronger, happier and more fearless than ever before.

Rebecca says of the album

“This is honest and emotionally complex, I found strength and security writing this album” adding “It’s my most personal album ever and it’s brought me to a place in my life where I feel strong. I called it Superwoman because I learnt to embrace my vulnerability and accept it as a strength.”

‘Superwoman’ was produced by Troy Miller (Mark Ronson, Amy Winehouse), and features collaborators such as Jonny Lattimer  (Ellie Goulding, James Bay), Negin Djafari (Miley Cyrus) and previous collaborator Eg White (Adele, Florence And The Machine, Sam Smith).

UK Top 40 Ragga Metal band Skindred have inked a new worldwide record deal with Napalm Records

2014 has seen
Skindred play to audiences across the world, with a string of high profile festival slots – including Download, Hurricane, Bestival and Polish Woodstock – along with sold-out tours at venues such as London’s Brixton Academy. The band has sold more than half a million records worldwide during their career to date. The band have also just been announced to play at next year’s Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park in Germany with Foo Fighters and Slipknot.

Skindred's manager, Seven Webster from 7PM Management, added:

“We have been talking to Napalm Records for a long time and we all believe that Skindred now needs to be with a designated Rock label that understands the genre and the band and that shares our passion and belief in the band on every level and wants to work with us on further building and breaking the band globally and taking them to the next level in what we all see as the next part of a long campaign. We could not be happier with this deal!”

Skindred have also confirmed that Dan Sturgess after joining the bands live set up for the last few years as their DJ / sampler and backing singer has now joined the band properly as a full time member and will also be involved in the writing of the bands forthcoming album.
