Just as they’re about to embark on their first ever full headline tour of the UK & Ireland, Letlive. have premiered a new music video via Noisey. 'Younger' is one of the tracks from critically acclaimed recent album ‘The Blackest Beautiful’. Playing on the song’s lyrical themes of “Only the good die young”, the music video explores the workings of a cult and vocalist Jason Aalon Butler’s character’s turning the tables on the enigmatic cult leader in a dark and twisted fantastical scenario.   

Currently treating mainland Europe to their frenetic and already quite legendary live show, letlive. hit UK shores next week with Night Verses (whose drummer Aric Improta plays the cult leader in the ‘Younger’ music video) and The American Scene in tow. Having already been upgraded from the Underworld to the Electric Ballroom, the London date of the tour is now sold out, following the lead of Cardiff, Glasgow and Southampton, all of which ran out of tickets some time ago.

Critically-lauded singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Anthony Green will release his newest solo offering "Young Legs" on 17th February 2014 via his own newly launched imprint Moshtradamus Records. The album’s first single “Breaker” premiered on RollingStone.com - (Click here to listen) - who expresses the track, “…opens with dramatic keys and bracing percussion, and is an extension of the singer-songwriter's past work.”

With Young Legs, the Circa Survive front-man ventured further away from his punk / hardcore roots and pushed deeper into the lush, intricate, melody-driven brand of alt-rock. The album is a masterful collection of sprawling, lavishly textured pop. But while the album is Green’s most ambitious effort so far in a 10-year music career, "Young Legs" also bears a warm intimacy that proves both his strength and ingenuity as a songwriter.

Made at Studio 4 Recording in his home state of Pennsylvania, Young Legs finds Green teaming up with Will Yip, a producer / engineer who’s previously worked with Circa Survive (as well as artists as diverse as The Fray, Lauryn Hill, Arctic Monkeys, and Beanie Sigel). “I wanted this album to sound bigger and more atmospheric than anything I’d ever done, and I knew that working with Will could make that happen,” says Green. For more help in broadening his sound, Green once again joined forces with Good Old War, the Pennsylvania-based indie-folk trio who served as his backing band on 2008’s Avalon and 2012’s Beautiful Things. In crafting the sonics of Young Legs, Green looked to a wildly eclectic range of influences that includes the Beatles, Peter Gabriel, Queens of the Stone Age, Fleet Foxes, Justin Timberlake’s latest work, and—most significantly—Fiona Apple and Frank Sinatra. “Their music is just so clear and cutting and really captures a feeling,” Green says of Apple and Sinatra.

Besides the pained, yet powerful single “Breaker,” that lyrical intensity fuels much of Young Legs, such as “You Have to Believe It Will Happen” (an epic, soul-stirring number that Green penned for a friend struggling through divorce) and the quietly devastating “I’ll Miss You” (a string-accented tribute to a departed friend). But a brighter, breezier mood prevails on many of Young Legs’ other tracks, including the dreamy acoustic reverie of “Stolen,” the gently cascading and harmony-soaked “Shine,” and “Anytime” (a blissfully bouncy ode to Green’s younger son). “Most of the songs on the album were written for other people, or inspired by things that were going on in the lives of my friends and family,” explains Green. Describing the songs on Young Legs as “little presents to people I love.”

Rocks favorite San Diego residents, Pierce The Veil are excited to announce a re-release of their outstanding album "Collide The Sky" complete with their brand new DVD ‘This Is A Wasteland’ on 11th November via Fearless Records.

The Melvins premiere “American Cow,” from the forthcoming album Tres Cabrones (Nov. 5, Ipecac) via Spin (http://www.spin.com/articles/melvins-1983-tres-cabrones-american-cow-ipecac-records-stream/).  Pre-orders for the record are available now here.

“Tres Cabrones is as close as we’re willing to get to the Melvins 1983 line-up,” explained Osborne, of the 12-song album that reunites him, Dale Crover and original drummer Mike Dillard. “The best part is it’s all new songs. I specifically wrote tunes that would be good for these guys to play and it worked out great. We had no interest in rehashing tunes we wrote 30 years ago and chose instead to simply create NEW songs. It worked out perfectly.”  

“Making the "Tres Cabrones" record was a real treat indeed. It’s a trip down memory lane complete with debauchery and ultra violence,” said Dillard, who left the band in 1984 only to be replaced by Crover. “After 30 years we release a record with the (almost) original line-up of the band,” added Crover. “I’ve always felt that drummer Mike Dillard was one of us. It’s great that he’s still a piece of the puzzle!  Plus, I get to see what it’s like being the bass player in the Melvins! "Tres Cabrones indeed!” 

The Melvins annexed Big Business band members Coady Willis and Jared Warren in 2006 for "(A) Senile Animal" and the quartet has remained in this incarnation for four additional releases including "Everybody Loves Sausages", a covers album released this spring. Not ones to relax, The Melvins introduced Melvins Lite, a version of the band that teams Osborne and Crover with Trevor Dunn (Tomahawk, Mr. Bungle).  Melvins Lite released their debut album, "Freak Puke", in 2012 and subsequently embarked on a 51 date / 51 State (including DC) tour of the United States. 

The band most recently celebrated their 30th anniversary with a six-week North American tour.  

The Melvins visit Australia with a Dec. 13 performance at the Meredith Music Festival as well as a number of shows with Helmet.
